  1. Definitely op hahah I would pass them to other robes though. To be more specific... I want to pass from "Expert Illusion Robes" to "Tribunal Robes". It wouldn't alter anything in power, gameplay or mechanics... The only difference would be that my skyrim tamagotchi would look awesome . ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess I'll have to get used with "not looking unique". Although, if you had some rudimentary modding skills you may be able to create a custom item which uses the tribunal robes model while also having the expert illusion robes enchantment power. But that's not something I know how to do. If you were willing to look into learning how to mod and make new items it may be possible to do that, and even make a few other custom items while you were at it.
  2. Ah, I forgot that the vanilla enchanting skill makes it so you cannot make custom enchantments that are as powerful as certain enchantments placed on items already in the game (I use Skyre, which is an overhaul mod that gets around this problem, if enchanting is all you want to change I would not reccomend trying to install SkyRe, that is a mod that will change A LOT of aspects of the game which you may not want changed). if you use buffs which increase your enchanting skill I think you can get around this but I'm not 100% sure As far as I know you can't copy a specific enchantment from the game directly onto another item, sorry =( It would be very cool to have something like the arch-mage robe enchantment placed on a piece of armor or something like that. Talk about OP =P
  3. This wiki page may have what you need: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_%28Skyrim%29/Enchantments If it doesn't work, if I were you i would just use the console to give yourself the level and perks necessary for enchanting, while also using the console to give you the items with enchantments you want to learn/use. And if you don't want to keep the enchanting skill you can just use the console again to remove the level/perks (note that upgrading skills via the console will not count towards your overall level and won't give you perk points, so this is safe for temporary level buffs). this process is pretty damn tedious, but i've personally found it to be safe and I've done it multiple times. that wiki should help you find all the codes you need for leveling etc. and for finding specific items in-game you can just use the 'help' console command. Hope that helps =P
  4. I am currently running a playthrough where i intended to play a werewolf character, so i downloaded Moonlight tales to give myself a more immersive werewolf experience (I didn't want to go through the companions as I've done that questline so many times that it now bores me, plus I'm playing an assassin character who wouldn't waste his time with that silly clan). However, after finally gaining beasthood I've found that i'm actually significantly weaker in this form. The claw attacks don't do enough damage against medium and higher-level enemies, and I tend to take damage so easily that I often have to lower the difficulty or temporarily enable immortality to keep from being killed by a group of more than two standard bandits. it's so ridiculously weak that I can continuously attack even a bandit marauder to the point where more blood covers the ground than any human could feasibly have and they will still shrug off my attacks. While I on the other hand can barely take two power attacks from a steel war axe. this is even with ALL of the werewolf perks unlocked. Granted, I did only acquire werewolf form around level 55, AND I am running Skyre while playing on master difficulty. I feel that skyre is mostly to blame for this imbalance, but even when I play as a normal character i don't have nearly as much difficulty. I would like my beast form transformations to feel more like temporary boosts in attack power rather than being a transformation to a weaker form that forces me to retreat, which is what actually happens most of the time. The high weakness to damage doesn't bother me quite so much, but the fact that it can take multiple minutes to kill just a medium to high-level bandit is just stupid. tldr: Is there a way via config modifications or cheats that i can buff my abilities as a werewolf? I.e. health and damage increase? Thanks, and sorry for the long-winded explanation. ADDENDUM: Well, after doing some researching I found out that the werewolf mastery mod allows you to change resistances and damage dealt while in beast form. I'm going to give this a shot for now, but since I REALLY dislike installing new mods into an older save file (I have lost count of how many times I've restarted a character due to corrupted or broken saves, even when always making clean saves during mod installation), I would still like to know if these values can be changed via configs or in-game codes. The less damage to my save files the better.
  5. FIXED: The problem was based on the WARZONES mod. I believe it was simply causing too much to happen in front of whiterun, causing the game to crash during the siege. I disabled the mod, completed the battle and then re-enabled the mod to fix my problem. I will notify the mod creator of the issue.
  6. While playing the battle for whiterun on the stormcloak side earlier today, I encountered a recurring glitch where the game crashes when i get too close to the front gate of whiterun. The commander will give his speech, the soldiers will charge, but once my character gets to a certain point close to the gate of whiterun, the game CTD's. I tried playing with mods deactivated, and the problem was fixed. So I'm assuming this has something to do with my current mods, I tried altering the load order for some of the mods, but nothing did the trick. Posted below is my plug-in list in the order in which i last tried playing, in case it helps: Skyrim.esm Lycanthropy_Audio_By_Brevi.esm Update.esm WARZONES-Civil Unrest.esm Improvedscimpuniforms-Main.esp Lycanthropy_Main_by_Brevi.esp HiResTexturePack01.esp HiResTexturePack02.esp RealisticWaterTextures.esp NoAutoAim.esp Barenziahquestmarkers.esp Portal2mod.esp dragonsoulstoperks.esp the asteria-dwemer airship.esp WeaponsOf3E.esp DYNAVISION Dynamic Depth of Field.esp The Dance of Death.esp Leveler's Tower.esp Masters of Death.esp sos-the wilds.esp Omegared99-Compilation-NPC-plugin.esp Omegared99-Compilation.esp Omegares99-WeaponSets.esp
  7. Ok, got the menu to work and reset loot tables, waited three days so that npcs could reset and no dice, I reckon i may just kiss my loot goodbye and re-install. No big deal but still kinda sucks.
  8. So if i understand correctly, the OBSE should solve my Fran's menu problem? If so hopefully this will allow me to reset the mod so that this no longer occurs. Not sure i understand what updating saves will do though.
  9. So i've come across the infamous caliper glitch in Francesco's mod, where the armor and weapons of Bandits and Marauders becomes replaced by calipers. Now i've done a good bit of research into this problem and most people say that i need to reset something by typing "Startquest Fransmenu" into the console. unfortunately this doesn't work for me. Now my only guess is to re-install the mod, which isn't a big deal considering the fact that i really don't use any loot from this mod while playing and i simply enjoy collecting it. but naturally i'd like to avoid having to re-install. If anyone knows anything i'd greatly appreciate it. Note: I'm a nooblet when it comes to modding for oblivion, i've been playing oblivion since it was released but that was the xbox 360 version. i only just got into oblivion modding this summer when Steam had that really awesome deal for the game. As such, i don't know any of the modding lingo or acronyms. Sorryz. Again thanks for any support.
