  1. I guess I'll be adding this to the relatively large list of help topics I've opened and then solved myself soon after. A fair warning to anyone using this tutorial - it doesn't mention alpha channels being required. So if you were to follow this workflow for instance: | edit image in photoshop -> save as PNG with transparency -> open in paint.net -> save as TGA | :you'll be lacking an alpha channel and the icon will show up like the example above in the CS. Important Notes: 1. Even though the icon looks terrible in the CS, it will appear (mostly) correct in-game (tested with OpenMW only) 2. You can add proper alpha transparency in Photoshop using this method. 3. The icons using the flawed PNG transparency method have issues, please use the Photoshop method to fix them or simply avoid Photoshop from the beginning. Sorry for the clutter thread, I hope this helps someone though.
  2. Hello, I'm having a bit of an issue creating custom inventory icons for my items. In Paint.Net is seems to be properly transparent (tga): http://i.imgur.com/quAizHj.png but in the CS it has a weird bleeding effect: http://i.imgur.com/GzKCn7W.png Keep in mind these are screen-caps, the icon is actually 32x32 and transparent. Thanks in advance.
