Alrighty then. Why don't we make knives deal blunt damage then?Or making armour increase your speed but lower your defenses? You can freeze time in this game,so the former things aren't that far off?

One raider doesn't automatically like the other. It's like expecting someone who likes spaghetti to like you because you like spaghetti as well. And Super Mutants seem to just kill everything thats not a super mutant on sight. If I remember correctly,Super Mutants actually attack raiders if they meet.

Come on man, I'm at least trying to come up with something. I get that there needs to be "some" logical sense, but it seems like you're just trying to bat down my ideas.

And with Super Mutants, you can have super mutants as companions, in both Fallout 3 and 4. So that clearly shows not *all* muties hate humans

Also, if you're going to argue "Raiders aren't friends with other raiders", then how are there raider gangs? Why isn't it literally "every raider for themselves"? My idea isn't "raiders from other gangs join you", but more of "you start your own raider group". If that's illogical, then explain how the Viper gang, Fiends, Jackals, and other gangs were ever formed? It's even stated in the Fallout wiki that raiders don't typically attack other raiders. So, if you're going to be evil, why can't you start your own raider gang?

Just because a few super mutants are nice, not everyone has to be.It's like saying "those two policemen are corrupt. That must mean that every other policeman ever must be corrupt".

Raiders joining your settlement makes sense and I actually like that idea, but them just ignoring you doesn't. Being evil doesn't automatically make you friends with other evil people.Heck,I think Raiders would be MORE eager to kill you. They could see you as a competitor.

You know what this reminds me of... where are the groups of mercs and assassins sent to kill you because you pissed off the wrong person? That's one aspect from Skyrim that really should have carried over to this game. Needs more death squads.

There is a quest where triggermen are sent to kill you and randomly attack you in Diamond City.

  3. Eh.Not really a fan of the "the nicer you are the stronger strangers are" thing.I'd suggest just making strangers more eager to help you if someone attacks you.

Super Mutants and raiders ignoring you because you are a psychopath doesn't really make sense either.

In my opinion it should be

Good:Less caps, but better endings for other people

    Evil:More caps,but things go to s#*!

I also think persuasion should be easier when you are good, and intimidation harder. And vice versa for being evil.

  4. Regarding the no stopping time thing:This was already asked for FO3,NV and Skyrim, and it wasn't possible there due to engine limitations, and I don't think FO4 will be any different.Closest thing would be having time jumps depending on how long you have been in a menu.

But a smartphone? That's raping the lore on all levels.Transistors don't exist in the fallout universe, which make computers as we know them actually work. That's the reason every computer you see is completely text based.Smartphones would look really out of place as well in a retrofuturistic setting as well.

Handheld Pip-Boys do exist though. You used one of those in Fallout 1 and 2.I could see problems with the animations your character does when you switch something.Worst case scenario with that is that you wouldn't have a pipboy unless you press the button to bring it up.Then a sleeker Pip-Boy would spawn on your left arm and you'd still do the normal animations you'd do with the vanilla pip-boy.

    NV had a lore-friendly handheld pip-boy mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38844/?

  5. Due to me playing a bit too much Baldurs Gate,I'm a bit out of TES Lore, but aren't the jarls like normal politicians,or did the Nords go the "strongest warrior is the leader" route?

  6. Dragons aren't hatched from eggs like in most other fantasy settings, but are instead created by Akatosh.Dragons also don't have genders.

They would actually have to have 4 legs to be dragons,as dragons need to have 4 legs to be categorized as such.Dragons in Skyrim would actually be called Wyverns.

  7. Just two things I want to say:

    1) Please don't make them call you "Dovahkiin".A lot of Roleplayers (like me) don't play Dragonborns,so it would be 'murshion Breaking if they called you that

    2) Only thing possible is having siblings of other races having a different mother.Children always assume the race of the mother in TES lore (though retaining some traits of the race of their father.A breton whose father was a nord would probably have a few traits that nords have, being a bit taller for example).

  8. There are a bunch of other assassin organisations, and I don't think that every assassin works with a faction,so a bunch would be freelancers as well. There are a lot of reasons some assassins would be sent to kill the Dragonborn.

Some duels would be really nice.I'd also like if the player could challenge some people.

  9. I wouldn't put Frank Horrigan in Fallout 4,but another super mutant who also kept his smarts and military training, and wears the same power armour as well.Like someone was trying to copy him.

would be much more lore-friendly,as Frank died in Fallout 2.

  10. Do you mean the cover system? That isn't leaning. It just slides you to the side when you aim your gun and then slides you back to were you were originally standing when you stop aiming your gun.Personally,I though that FO4's cover system had some problems. For example, you couldn't open doors and aim your gun at the same time, which can be pretty important when you deal 2x the damage but take 2x the damage as well, and sometimes you'd pop out at the wrong end of cover.

I don't know if FO4's system is possible in NV,but I don't think so.There was a mod that added actual leaning where you would press Q and E to lean to a side, similar to STALKER.Sadly, that mod was taken down.
