  1. Hi again thank you for your time and help. I think I may have identified the problem, thanks to you pointing out the loading distance. I believe it is both the fact that I have too many mods, and the fact that I am still playing with base ini settings. Without changing them to adapt to the load order. I have started by installing BethINI, and the issue seems to have been sensibly reduced, although it still happens sometime. More than a specific solution, I believe I will have to reduce my load order (I am at 500 mods currently) and try to learn to set properly INI files for my potato of a computer. Thank you for your help!
  2. Hi Thank you for your reply! Yes, it is a modded playthrough. I apologize, I forgot to add this piece of information. Do I need to post the Load Order? Thank you for your time
  3. Hi All! Hope you are having a good day. I am writing this message because of a persistent problem I am encountering in all my Skyrim games. At some point, usually after a fair bit of a playthrough, clutter items in the environment start to despawn, either immediately after loading a save game or a cell (from outside to inside, for example). I started noticing this issue in Arcadia's Cauldron, when I got there to gather ingredients and level up alchemy. Immediately after loading a save or entering the shop, the usual potions/ingredients on the bancon or on the cupboards would disappear suddenly, before i would be able to pick them up. After paying more attention to the issue, I started noticing the same happening in all closed cells. Dishes disappearing from tables, books and stuff disappearing from cupboards, in dungeons, houses and shops as well. It also started happening in my player homes. All my books in Elysium Estate suddenly vanished from the libraries, and the libraries themwelseves acted as if they were empty from the beginning (i.e. I could put other books to replace the ones disappeared). Once, in Breezehome, all the clutter was suddenly teleported to my inventory (but it only happened twice in a playthrough, now it has not happened yet). I am struggling to find information online to what may be the problem. Do you have any suggestions about where should I start looking for, to identify the problem? Thank you for your time!
  4. Thank you very much for your replies! I have checked properly both on-line and the conflicts. I think I may have found a step forward. I don't think I need patches between the three mods, because, by adjusting the load-order (with tips found online by searching all three mods together, thanks leonidas) and by checking properly the "conflicts" (thanks showler), I have been able to move away most of the conflicts and left mostly only similar strings between the three mods. Thank you kindly good gentlemen, it has been a very informative session and I have learned something new.
  5. Hi all Thank you for reading this post. I have a question regarding Immersive citizens, AI overhaul, while I am in the process of rebuilding from scratch my modlist (my previous attempts were highly imbalanced and prone to ctd, I am trying again using "the method" The Method | Tome of xEdit (tes5edit.github.io)) I have just installed "Immersive citizens-Ai Overhaul" and have just checked that it has some minor conflicts with both USSEP and Alternate Start, is anyone able to tell me if there are compatibility issues between these mods? Do I need to create patches for them with xedit? On the nexus there are none and, on the mods' description pages, there are no indication that there should be any sensible conflicts between these mods. However, I would like to share opinions and idea with more people, instead of just keeping my doubts to myself. Does any-one uses these three mods together (USSEP-AS/LAL-ImCit)? To your knowledge, do they tend to work well together? Or do you need to create a patch? Thank you for your kind answers!
  6. Since I have excedeed the plugin limit for creating merged/bashed patches, I have been using z-edit to merge some plugins and reduce their numbers (I merge mostly plugins of follower mods that do not conflict with each other). However, starting today, Z-edit is not merging plugins anymore, it consistently fails, or gives me a transparent loading progess that blocks the application and stops the creation of the new merged plugins. It also does not save created merged plugins and seems to not interact at all with vortex (I can't put the vortex path into the integration path of z-edit). I was wondering if any one was having similar problems and how would be possible to solve it. Or at least some alternatives to z-edit to merge mods. Is it possible, for example, to merge follower mods with the Creation Kit? It may be the time for me to properly learn it. Thank you for your replies and your help!
  7. Thank you for your reply. I have been able, by selecting mods and merging some followers (just basic ones, without special scripts) to reduce esps to about 190. But I still have about 70 esl files, patches are most of it (about 40 esl or espfe are patches, legacy of dragonborn alone resulted in about 15 patches). If i try a merged patch with all of them, then it says that ssedit can't process more than 253 records. Thus my question, can i skip patches from my merged patch? Should I merge the patch plugins? Or, at worst, discard more mods? thank you for your time!
  8. Hi all I would like to ask a clarification about merged/bashed patches with ssedit. So far, i am ending up with a pretty big load order. Mostly, it is followers (I like to play a character with a small army), and quests/overhauls that I would like to interact in a single playthrough (like legacy of dragonborn with a bunch of other quests, to create a big museum). My questions is about the patches that are needed for those quests/overhauls. Should I include those patches in the merged patch (I may need to merge a few of those patches plugin to keep within the plugin limit of ssedit) or can I just skip them (mostly are .esl or espfe files)? In general, can I skip .esl and espfe files (like more kats or more argonians of skyrim, or other esl/espfe followers) in my merged patch? Or should I include them? These questions come from the fact that I am wondering if I should stick to merged/bashed patches or move to smashed patch with rab splitter (which I never used, so I would have to learn from scratches). Thank you for your time!
