I know, I know, there are a million of these threads, but I've looked at them all and I still can't figure out what the hell is going on with this thing. | WHAT I HAVE | Intel i7 870 @ 2.93 GHz: 4 cores, 8 threadsNVIDIA GeForce GT 240 (1 GB)12 GB RAMWindows 10 Pro 64-bit (Have tried it on Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit on another partition. Same problems.)Probably around 170 plugins, 3 of them being merged plugins with an additional 20-30 plugins within.ENB (No mods, just there for the memory patch).My only graphics mods are Automatic Variants for creatures, aMidianBorn Caves and Mines 1K, Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Skyrim Project Optimization, Static Mesh Improvement Mod (Lower textures), and a few actor/character visual overhauls. Most of them were merged into a "Visual" plugin.| ENBlocal.ini | | Skyrim.ini | | SkyrimPrefs.ini | Mod Organizer Mod List | MY ISSUE | My Skyrim is incredibly laggy. Badly. I average 20 FPS in just exploring. I have 6 in Whiterun and sometimes it'll go up to 30 if I am in a pretty empty dungeon. Don't even get me started on buildings.... >.> I've tried just about every optimization mod or .ini edit there is, all with no help whatsoever... In fact, most of them actually made them worse. I don't get any forever loading pages, but I will sometimes get completely random CTD on fast traveling, but not often. Same with randomly CTD on loading a save, then working when I load a different save, exit, then load the save that originally crashed. Also, a lot of the vanilla quests are broken, despite me using the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch. Example, when I am supposed to fight Vilkas to join the companions, he keeps drawing his sword and sheathing it while saying "No magic" whatever.... when I finally just started hitting him, he'd go "Nice" and go through the dialogue, however when he'd finish, he'd become hostile and beat the living s*** out of me. I eventually fixed this with a brawl patch. The second one is that no matter what I do, I cannot seem to join the Thieves Guild. I'll follow Brynjolf to to the Cistern after completing the quest and everyone in there is hostile towards to, including Brynjolf. I'll check my quests, and it appears that the next quest, Loud and Clear I believe, never started when it should. The annoying thing is that all these issues are happening on a new game. I am completely lost on what to try next to fix this.. I've heard of people playing on lesser systems with more mods and getting much better fps than I am, so I am really confused. Any help whatsoever is much appreciated. Thanks!!
