[FIXED] Character Creation Overhaul is incompatible with Alternate Start - Live Another Life. Deleted CCO and re-did my load order/merged patch and it works like a charm. Hopefully this helps someone in my similar predicament.

I'll put my plugins.txt contents at the bottom of this thread. I just got done modding Skyrim over again, and the same issue happened from last time. I click "New Game" and it shows the loading screen, there's the animation and music playing, but it doesn't load up a new game. In fact, it's stuck loading it. I have to ctrl alt delete and end the process in task manager, as skyrim stopped responding. I used TES5Edit to patch the mods, and LOOT to sort the load order and update the master lists. Nexus mod manager to install the mods as well. NOTE: Is there an easy way to work around the usual "Uncheck half your mods in your load order" solution everyone comes up with? It's a hassle, considering I have many compatibility mods and i'd have to redo the tes5edit patch and load order each time I de-select mods from my load order. 1. What about mods that are part of other mods? 1a. Or mod compatibility patches that go between 2 mods? 2. Don't I need to keep making patches when I de-select re-select certain mods?

So last night I decided to start on a clean sate and mod Skyrim again for a new playthrough as a battlemage. I got maybe just over 100 mods - I have less plugins, but just re-textures etc all come to about over 100 mods in total. When I click "New Game" I hear a book page turn sound effect, and it's stuck just showing the smoke loading screen. I ctrl+at+delete and choose Task Manager, and it shows skse skyrim has stopped responding. I use Nexus Mod Manager to install the mods. I use LOOT to sort the master list/plugin load order I use(d) Wrye Bash for a merged patch, but then switched over to TES5Edit to see if it would fix the issue, none of the patches fixed the infinite loading error. Installed it, still having the same issue.

I don't have any visual enhancing mods, I'm focused more on the gameplay rather than the graphics. UPDATE: Downloaded the ones instructed in 5 & 7. Still having the same reoccuring issue.

It's odd, I'm using Mod Organizer, LOOT, Wrye Bash. I load up Skyrim fine, create my character fine, but right after I'm done creating my character - the game crashes! I enabled papyrus logging in my Skyrim.ini file in My Games/Skyrim/Skyrim.ini but it doesn't save the log anywhere! I get no errors/warnings in LOOT, here's the logs: And the only thing Mod Organizer gives off is this 1 warning with no in-depth explanation as to which mod it is referring to: http://gyazo.com/71d88686082f053924e02fed737979af Wrye Bash, for the most part, has all green on the mods and only 3 orange mods which shouldn't be much of an issue. I had deleted all my screenshots from Steam, I don't have any I can give. But there's little spots of purple pixels on the screen & strong purple lens flares. And everything in the background is darkened.

I also had this problem with an older ENB/The godess v122221 or whatever it is. I'm using the latest RealVision ENB though :S
