  1. More than likely the mod author left Nexus Community over the issues presented but the ownership of the site and their mods. Might want to check the author's page to see if they left links to other sites they moved too. Just a heads up though try not to post those links on the forum. For obvious reasons management don't like promoting competing websites
  2. To be honest as I don't own SE it has to be SE. The balance changes to that version that came to original title only through mods and a number of broken Bethesda game updates the SE version is superior in almost every way. Its far more stable built around the 64bit system versus the 32bit of the original. Though I have played a friends version of SE and it looks soooooooooo much better with a decent system I personally stayed to the older version. But if your looking for a massively modded game with hundreds of mods SE is the better of the two. Though modding said game with the recent issues here on Nexus with dozens of content authors and creators leaving finding mods maybe more of a chore. But hands down Skyrim Special Edition is the version you want for a heavily modded game.
  3. The mod author has more than likely left the Nexus Community. You should check the author's profile page. If they leave most are letting people know where they can find their mods
  4. With all the chaos happening on the nexus and many authors leaving the site, I, a simple consumer, wish to personally thank all the creators on Nexus for your hard work. I don't personally have any intention on using the new system that the Nexus team is pushing out. But I can understand in their point of view why they would like it part of the Nexus. I personally think its wrong and more than respect the choices of authors and their decisions to leave the community. I just want to give thanks to all of the community supporters, the mod creators, the Nexus staff, and the community as a whole for everything that has come from the Nexus community. The mods that where created in the past and the new ones being released have made our "gaming lives" all the more bright with the hard work, sweat, and tears that goes into these awesome creations. I whole heartedly agree with every statement that the authors of these mods owe no one anything and they don't. They should be praised for the donation of thousands apon thousands of hours they spend in the creation of their art, their craft. Thank you Mod authors. Just thank you. Men and women like "Arthmoor", "Elianora", and so so many others. Thank you. To the site creator "Dark0ne" and the management staff of Nexus like "BigBizKit" thank you. I think the community can come back from this if we simply just come together and understand it's ok to not agree, it's ok to have different opinions, it's ok to debate, but we must always do so having respect. At least from me, a simple user of the wonderful creations on display here and the community I have been a member of for a long time, Thank you everyone. Please everyone stay safe out there, and know that there is always a brighter tomorrow waiting for us all.
  5. I posted earlier about Vortex and issues with Skyrim SE. After deleting Vortex completely and installing MO2 and reinstalling all the mods I had before my issue started the game worked and loaded fine. I then did a full fresh install of Skyrim SE removing all mods went back to Vortex downloaded all mods I had before and game failed to launch and just sat at the start screen with me looking at the Skyrim Logo for about an hour. I am not sure what Vortex is doing or "not" doing but it seems to be broken. MO2 works perfectly never used it before today but not had issues once. This is with 231 mods installed. I am not a programmer nor am I savy with computers but I am pretty sure something major is wrong with this program and might need a fix. Edited: Before its mentioned No I made sure all my .exe's where NOT set to run as Admin. I already know thats a problem and made sure that was not the case
  6. New update..With no mods installed and nothing but standard Skyrim SE running Vortex did in fact run the game from its launcher. So I think this means that either its a major conflict with a recent Window's 10 Update or a conflict with one or more of my mods I had installed at the onset of this post. I would like to ask the Staff why they chose to remove my prior comments where I had explained my issue in greater detail?? I will update as I reinstall my mod load I had before should I find the mod or mods that caused or at least may have caused the issue
  7. I wanted to report that after doing a fresh install of the game with no mods the game runs fine from steam but failed to start from Vortex. From Vortex I click to run game..game starts up just fine to the title screen but then locks in loading, and doesn't continue. All I see is the Skyrim Logo and the Clouds swirlling around the screen. I read on another post for Fallout 4 where the person solved this issue with a "Run as Admin" set up for the .exe i will try this next
  8. Just wanted to call out to the devs and ask why did they chose to replace the NMM with Vortex? NMM worked perfectly and now since moving to the most recent Skyrim SE and to Vortex my game is completely broken. Wont start up just does an infinite load at start screen. Deleted all mods removed everything not part of the original game and still wont run. Watched Gopher's video on Vortex attempted to fix issues and still nothing works.
