  1. Those three are about the extent of what I know how to do myself. Sadly I don't have the free time to learn the rest at the moment. So I am hoping someone who is more experienced with modding than myself can give this a go.
  2. After toying around with all of the amazing mods that add so many different customization options in the Armor Workbench I realized something. It is quite annoying to leave the UI and go back in with every change. So I would like to request an alternative Armor Workbench. It could be a button on a wall for all I care aesthetically speaking. But rather than play the normal Workbench Animation it puts the character in an easy to see pose/animation and removes the overlay that shows the "item" in question so that we can clearly see the player. Something like the following mockup image: I'm sure there are better default animations than the idle for this or better camera angles. It would just be a nice alternative to what we have for all the different outfits that have different options that change the color, shape, visibility, etc.
  3. Not for me. I'm playing the updated game after updating F4SE and the 4 mods I use that rely on it (LooksMenu, Place Everywhere, MCM, and Extended Dialogue). No noticeable FPS drops or crashing. It could be a mod you are running that is suddenly conflicting with something they changed in the update?
  4. TheEpicNate did a review on all of the new Creation Club content with Saints and Seducers saved for the end.
  5. They literally had a countdown in the main menu. So it was... pretty hard not to be aware it was happening and ensure it didn't auto update. One would have intentionally had to ignored the countdown AND ignored the social media spreading the "Sneak Peak at the next Creation Club" promotions that told the exact date it was coming. There was ample warning and ample time to prepare. Which is probably why SKSE/F4SE and most of the major mods that depend on it updated within 24 hours of the CC update this time.
  6. No, there isn't. It would be possible to do so long as you ALWAYS side with Whiterun. But due to the Jarl of Whiterun changing if you side with the Stormcloaks there aren't the voice files available for the new Jarl to continue the Alduin questlines that have to be completed before the Battle of Whiterun. A mod could just make it so Barlgruf always is the Jarl no matter what side you choose to circumvent this, but that would be lorebreaking.
  7. It looks like F4SE and just about every mod that needs updating has updated (LooksMenu, Place Everywhere, Extended Dialogue, McM, etc.). It probably helps that Bethesda had a countdown within the game that the update was coming this time. The updates came out faster than normal.
  8. On top of that if you ever accidentally start the update you can simply pause it. Then continue to boot the game via F4SE.exe without it triggering the update. Follow HadToRegister's steps and you'll never have the game auto-update on your again. Been playing all day without updating due to this.
  9. Not sure how easy this would be, but I think it would be super convenient if we could press a single button to swap the player's equipped armor with a Mannequin. While I know there are mods that do this with a Hotkey, I'd prefer to just use normal Mannequins. Also, I am aware Advanced Mannequins (Beta) exists, but it is currently very buggy and the Mannequins tend to fall through the ground/ceiling when you load a cell or outfits vanish (It also does far more than I actually want.). I'd prefer normal Mannequins, not a living breathing person standing there pretending to be one.
  10. Wouldn't attempting to silence any of the aforementioned mods just cause a streisand effect? In fact, this thread is doing more to promote the mods in question by giving them attention they didn't have prior.
  11. Yeah, it seems that Armor/Weapons operate differently entirely. I've tried copying from similar items in the Misc/food category but with no luck. Edit: Update I got the issue resolved. It turns out I didn't optimize the nif file for SE (It was an Oldrim mesh). As I feared I looked over a very important step.
  12. I'm going to keep playing with the XYZ under BSInvMarker, but so far I'm not getting any luck to get it to display after an hour of fiddling with it. :(
  13. I thought so too, but it doesn't seem to be the case. As far as I can tell it might be something I need to do in NifSkope since the Creation Kit doesn't give me any other options other than Model (Which is the ground model). It works great on the ground. Just nothing in the inventory.
  14. Hello there! I'm rather noobish to modding in general. However I am giving it my best go. I recently made a mod and as an update to it I changed an existing object's in-game model with a much nicer looking one from a free resource. It worked great, I managed to give it physics for the most part and it was working fine. Other than it doesn't have an inventory model. How would I go about adding that? I've done a thorough search online and cannot find out how I'm supposed to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  15. Even Even Overwatch does reflections like this. This isn't anything new to gaming and isn't likely to change as it saves resources for the users and dev. team.
