  1. So... is it possible to create a custom group of caravan travellers, with their own route, and how would I go about it?
  2. I have two versions of the armor - one _1, one _0. they are, as far as I can see, identical... I think the problem is with the _1, since it's the high weight that goes crazy, but so far I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is.
  3. Feel free to laugh me out of town, I don't mind. Well, maybe a little. The thing is, I want to use this top as the base for a custom dress. How do I go about rigging/weighting/whatever so they will not look ridiculous? And if the sleeves actually end up moving, I would be ecstatic... Before you ask, yes I am willing to reduce the size.   4. You can try opening your interior cell, Mark everything (click at the very far left anddrag to the right) click COPY and then load the scene you want it in. Click PASTE. Curse over the location being wacky, move everything, hit SAVE and hey presto!
  5. I'm a modder mess. I try to only work on 1 mod but I have ideas for another 10 and keep getting distracted. However, I do have 2 basic esps - one for clothes and one for items - where I add everything I make for testing purposes. I also mark every single item I make with ASC_ or AS_ so I can find them easily in the ck. On my start menu (win10) I have a separate tab with links to all Programs I use and shortcuts to relevant texture folders in my Base data folder. There is no need to add links to mesh folders as I just change the word textures for meshes in the file path when I need it. I also have a notebook where I collect ideas, two pages per mod. It helps keeping me on track. No idea how helpful this was... Best, AdiaStar

  7. Hello. I am on the verge of giving up completely on creating armor meshes. I feel worthless, stupid, dumb as a bloody brick and a complete waste of space. I don't get it. I can't do it. Please don't tell me to use Blender. I tried. I didn't understand anything after 3 days and uncountable hours. The only 3dsmax I have access to is 2016, which is happy to make rather stunning meshes but no matter which options I tick I can't export them as Nifs. In the end, in pure desperation, I exported as a 3ds file and got it into nifskope. That's where it is now, and I can't get it to work in game. I don't know where to begin to figure out what's wrong. I have tried copying only what was missing from my version from the original. CTD on load. Tried copying everything. CTD on load. I think the problem lies with the BSDismemberment parameter but I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. This is after watching five different people on youtube and reading eight tutorials. I still can't get it right. The only thing I managed to do was make the armor invisible. Oh... and CTD the moment my character put it on. At least I managed to load the inventory screen, that's an improvement. I can't mesh. But I can cry, feel worthless, and crawl back to simple retexturing. At least I can handle GIMP.   9. Carl would only exist in mod a and mod B, as in he is in (location a) in Mod A and in mod B he has been moved to (location b).
  10. Ok im not sure how to phrase this... But Here it goes. Let's say I in mod A have a merchant added somewhere in the world. In mod B i have moved the merchant to a location like a dungeon or something along with several other merchants from mod C D and E. Now let's propose that a player downloads mod A, C and E but does not want mod D. Will mod B still work and simply not show merchant D or will there be errors? I hope someone understood that...
  11. Update: Apparently, I am suffering from what modders call "exploding armor". I also have a list of things to check when troubleshooting. Can someone please lock/delete this post?

  13. Hello! I am a beginner modder who mainly mods for myself because it's fun. I am currently working on creating a new merchant, but I want her to have certain restrictions before she will trade with you. Restrictions: 1. You must be Thane of Solitude. 2. You must have <insert amount> of gold in your inventory. Basically, she sells a unique item and she knows it. Help? /AdaraRose ps. she sells tea, which I know isn't a unique mod, but it is in MY GAME.
