  1. It's just as I feared. Thanks anyway. I don't understand what's causing this. Maybe waiting for a couple days might help?
  2. I realize this is the wrong forum, but I this forum is more active than the Oblivion one and I didn't want to wait for a week or more just to get one person to say "too bad for you lol." I can't get to the oblivion.nexusmods.com site. I can get to every other nexus site, just not the oblivion one. I was able to get to it previously for about 5 minutes, after which my browser quit and suddenly started saying "Can't connect!" for no discernible reason. I wasn't even downloading any files yet. Can you guys quickly check if it's up for you too? I've used downorjustme and it said that it was "just me," but I've tried flushing the cache, using different browsers, everything short of changing my DNS, and I simply can't get on. Weird because I can get here, and on skyrim.nexusmods.com, and all the others besides. I apologize again, but it was either this, or no useful answer at all.
  3. Hello there. I've just been shopping around the Skyrim Nexus, looking for new face and hair modifications. The trouble is, much of the really well-done and high-quality modifications out there have a decidedly "Anime," "Japanese," or even "Modernized" feel to them, with stylized and exaggerated elements, glossy lips, emphasis on make-up, noticeably softened/rounded facial features, etc. which is quite "idealised;" while I have nothing against them, I personally feel these mods detract from the immersion of the game as it is supposed to be experienced--especially since a lot of them aren't designed with "realism" or perhaps even the "Skyrim atmosphere" in mind. So, my question is simple: from experience, what are your favorite (or the highest-quality) face and hair modifications which also keep a more "realistic," "Western," or "Lore-Friendly" style? (I'm currently using "Xenius Character Enhancement" and various low-key hair retextures and models.) Thanks for reading! (P.S. I tried to keep my writing as generic as possible, so as not to insult anyone who does prefer these mods and art-styles--I respect all of you, I just wanted to say I personally don't subscribe to the same viewpoints. If I offended anybody, that was definitely not my intent. I don't want to start a war over whether "European" or "Western or "Asian" or "Japanese" or any art-style is better than the other.)
  4. Hello everybody! Just a little question for today. I am making a companion mod for myself, in order to get comfortable with the CK. However, I noticed that in the Actors window, there really is no setting to get an actor to level with you. To make myself clear: I know it is possible to dynamically level an actor via the "PC Level Mult" setting, where the AI sets an actor's level to be permanently set based on the level of the player character (PC) when they first meet. However, there is nothing--at least, nothing that I've seen so far--that will update the actor's level and respective skills/stats every time the PC levels up. Would this be a job that scripting can handle, or is there an AI package or some other setting that will do this for me? Don't worry, I do not need somebody to hold my hand and tell me exactly what I need to do; I'm comfortable enough with coding and toolkits to be able to figure it out myself. I'd just like to know any possible solutions, so that I don't dive into scripting if there's already an AI package or actor setting that will do the same. Thanks in advance!
  5. Hello, all! Just a quick question: How do you get your NPCs to dual-wield? I know that it has something to do with choosing a correct combat-style (like csForswornBeserker or csAlikrBeserker) that supports dual-wielding. However, simply modifying an NPC combat-style did not work, so what else must be done in order to get the NPC to dual-wield? Thanks in advance!
