  2. Okay. It didnt run so just to be safe, I am going to do a fresh install. this may take a little time
  3. I usually just use NMM to install mods. Bad idea?

  5. Version 1.5.1... Do I have the wrong stuff?
  6. Probably wrong. I just put everything in the Oblivion directory
  7. saw no manual. http://s24.postimg.org/q8lwiy5td/New_Bitmap_Image.jpg This is what I get
  8. CS Extended doesnt have squat for a readme and I am lost. I see a landscape editor and thats it Edit: Yup. Definitely lost. Ive tried running this thing standalone, with construction set, with both run through OBSE. Nothing. What am I doing wrong?
  9. Do either of you know the value in the construction set to turn the age slider all the way down for npcs? And appareently how to stop the CS from crashing horribly whenever I try to edit a face? Edit: Value is 15. Cannot save without crashing
  10. I had OBSE installed the first time around with no results. I gave myself a fresh Oblivion install about a half hour ago. thats why its taking a bit of time Edit: Nevermind. I am an idiot and didnt read that right. CONSTRUCTION SET Extender. okay. I understand now.....I think
  11. This is why I need a modding mentor lol. Ill post my reesults
  12. I did. I am however going to try turning the race mod into an esm and see if that does anything
  13. Ive tried it with Reznods as well. no beans there either
  14. So if I change "Skin-toned Mannequins to an esm file, itll stop reverting the mannequins to Vampires? i'll give that a shot. Edit: No beans. I just dont understand why saving the mod in the construction set forces the race to switch to an invisable vampire
  15. Okay. So I have been trying to make Mannequins based on my character model and place them using the construction set. I have tried with literally every mannequin mod on the Nexus. Everything goes fine until I save. when i load up the mod either in game or in the construction set, my mannequin dissappears and when I load up the edit menu for the mannequin, it defaults to vampire race instead of keeping all the changes I made. is there any advice anyone can give me?
  16. I remember reading a tutorial somplace on particle editing within Blender that could most likely achieve different colored torches and spell effect for that matter though I could be mistaken on the last part. I will have to see if I can find the tutorial that I read. It was much too technical for me at my current stage of knowledge
  17. If you let me know which mod you aree speaking of, I'd be happy to see if I can figure it out.
  18. I believe Roberts Female Body has a thong version. let me check. Edit: Yes. Roberts Female http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15624/?tab=3&selected_game=101&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D15624%26user%3D1%26gid%3D101&pUp=1
  19. I am particular to HGEC and Roberts models myself. Modders will always be able to do better than Bethesda. My opinion of course
  20. Saying that the mod author wouldnt have to know is just bad etiquette and highly disrespectful. how would you like it if someone took your work without your permission?
  21. Hello everyone. I have been modding Oblivion and before that, Morrowind for the better part of ten years now. All of my modding experience however has been confined to the Construction Set (Click and drag and basic item editing). Recently however, I have had ideas swimming around in my head that will require me to step outside the construction set into 3d modeling, at this point, specifically creating my own tilesets for interior and exterior arcitecture. I have spent two days now on multiple search engines scouring the internet for help to no avail. All i was able to find was a tutorial that abruptly ends at the beginning of texturing. I still have no clue how to do anything beyond setting up collision and I dont even know if that works. I am also hoping to learn any other bits of sage wisdom that veterans are willing to share. I am a fast learner and am beyond dedicated to learning as much as possible to be able to help the modding community to the absolute best of my ability. It definitely wouldnt hurt to add another experienced modder to the ranks of the Oblivion community and I would love for that to be me!
