  1. That's already checked, and it still tries to install the mods to Vortex, which was uninstalled. Then TURN IT OFF it in Vortex. Turn OFF that "Handle Mod Manager Download" in Vortex. Close Vortex Then open NMM as Administrator uncheck it in NMM, close NMM, reopen NMM, Check it in NMM and try again. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get it to stick This worked, thank you very much!

  3. So, I recently installed Vortex, mainly to mod The Sims 3. I modded the game, I broke my game, probably my own fault, it didn't launch. After that, I went back to playing Fallout New Vegas. I then tried to install some mods, and they installed to Vortex instead of NMM, like I wanted them to. I thought nothing of it and launched my Fallout, only to be met by missing textures, my menus broken, and a crash after about 2 minutes. I then messed with my Vortex for around 3 hours, I finally fixed it and uninstalled Vortex. Now when I try to install mods from The Nexus it tries to install them to Vortex, how do I change it back to installing to NMM?
  4. So just recently, I installed a bit of mods, as I do with every game that I can mod, and I think I may've went a little overboard.... Every time I access my magic menu using tab or the quick magic menu key (p), it crashes instantly, and I'm not sure which mod that I have would cause this. It has to be mods, because even if I revert to before I installed the burst of mods, it still crashes. Even if I start a new game it crashes when I open the magic menu, this wouldn't bug me if I could access my shouts or just to configure the mods, but I obviously can't now. I would put my mod list.... But I tend to have around 100-500 mods in a game that I mod.... That may be my problem, I tried using LOOT, but it's still broken and I'm still not sure what is conflicting if anything is at all. Could it maybe be the use of 4-10 old Skyrim mods I tossed into my NMM? Thanks for reading ~ Fancy (I'd upload a screenshot or two... if It would fit, but I have to take 5 to get all of my mods and the max file size is 250, it's just a tad over)
