Regardless, Vortex didn't suit my tastes, maybe I'll try it again later. For now I'll stick with what I know how to operate without having to relearn anything. Thanks for the replies, guys

How so? The Script Extender goes in the dashboard, you set it as PRIMARY, then after that all you need to do is start your game and it runs the script extender automatically after that. I'd be interested in seeing what you're doing that you think that using a script extender is such a chore Also when you say "Far more steps involved" what do you mean exactly? I press Download, then I press INSTALL If there's a conflict I click More, then pick LOAD BEFORE or LOAD AFTER, and I'm done. Oh I'm sure starting off with it is fine, to be more specific, I'm talking about switching to Vortex from NMM, it's a huge PITA to migrate. As far as the script extender goes, I'm referingto this: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Tool_Setup:_Script_Extenders It's not hard, just a lot more steps involved. My experience has been using mods in my established games is just quicker and easier in NMM than Vortex. Edit: Plus if Loot is built it, you shouldn't have to set load orders yourself

I just tried Vortex and didn't care for it AT ALL. It claims to be simpler to use, but I found it just the opposite, far more steps involved, especially if using a script extender. It has a pretty UI, and I like that Loot is built in, but IMO it's just easier to use standard NMM and the Loot app separately myself

Here we go with lib politics...

That looks not only promising, but far better than what I had envisioned, I hope he gets the help he needs to finish it Cool Hitlercat BTW =D

There's a noise power armor makes when you hit 20% remaining, I think it'd be great if there was a constant alarm when you're at 5-10% so you can remember to get out and change it so you can still sell it =D

This did not work for me

So I know this has been around a while... Steal something, person gets understandably upset and puts a hit out on you. Even with no evidence... lol My idea for a mod is that if you still have the contract off of the goons that tried to kill you, you can use it to either confront the person that put out the hit, seek retribution, or turn them in for it. Because really, is a death contract REALLY warranted because you took someones sweet roll? (Though it always amuses me when I get a contract on me from someone that's already dead)

Restart DLC?
Deleted2119454User replied to Deleted2119454User's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Well I was able to start the DLC Honest Hearts, but once I got to Zion, everyone started attacking me for no reason. Validated game cache in Steam, works now, but still no way I can find to restart the DLC- 5 replies

Due to a hardcore game SNAFU, when I tried to play Honest Hearts, it got screwed pretty badly. Is there any way, or a console command or something to be able to restart DLC, and not have to start the whole game over?
