  1. Ok here is a idea that I've been kicking round in my head for the last week or two and I'd like to throw it up for a bit of discussion. Not sure how possible it would be but Dungeon keeper in Skyrim. The idea would be to build a initially small dungeon which the player would not be able to leave except maybe to a small balcony area to allow the dungeon cell to refresh and re-spawn. In this the player would be a glorified accountant in charge of the dungeon but unable to reach the killing floor and take part in the action themselves, with the player instead placing "monsters" (using something like the atronoch forge under winterhold for example) and traps to defeat the bands of NPC adventurers looking to loot a central "Goal" treasure chest. So in my mind a typical day in the life of this dungeon would be, Player using given at start/looted ingredients creates a defence of monsters (atronochs, drugar mobs, dwemmer constructs ect. ect.) each with their own pro's and con's, a ready lever is thrown and the dungeon is open for business, waves of "Hero's" of various classes/levels attempt to fight their way through and loot the main treasure chest. After the wave the lever is thrown to "close" the dungeon and loot is rewarded to the player via the "Goal" treasure chest. Rewarding the player with loot could be done preferably with a "minion" NPC type looting all bodies in the dungeon and placing in the chest or "cheated" by knowing what loots would be available from the wave fought and spawning the equivalent into chest. A friendly NPC could then be used to add improvements to the dungeon a la house upgrades with more rooms and traps able to be added. Another layer of strategy could be added by giving Hero mob's variety and useful spells, (e.g. Thief with lightfooted immune to traps, a Mage with calm spells seriously ruining your day until he gets dwemmer-ed out of it, a completely tanked nord with massive armour and resists but vulnerable to ehhh... something.) OK that's the poorly written outline I have a lot more idea's what could be done but should give the basic idea of it. So good idea/bad idea?? What would you change/add??
