  1. Title pretty much says it all. I am attempting to make a mod and would like to use a chest as a part of the recipe however I don't see any item ID for chests. I'd also be fine with being pointed towards wherever may be the best place to ask questions about making mods. Thanks!
  2. I'd like it if the speed buff made it so you swing/charge your tools faster rather than move faster. I'm using a sprint mod and so speed buffs to movement is a bit redundant and it would be nice to repurpose it. If this mod doesn't exist, would making a mod that accomplishes this be relatively easy? I've considered making mods for the game but I just don't understand what I'm looking at when I try to read about doing it.
  3. Yeah I know a lot of these elements are in other mods already I'd just like to see it all kinda more cohesive I guess. That's why I called it more of an expansion to other mods than it's own thing.
  4. I love survival elements in games and I think a perks and leveling for a survival skill would be a great addition to the game. Frostfall adds lots of great survival elements and Hunterborn gives a more realistic feel to hunting but the one thing I wish it had was a skill tree with perks perks rather than a static level up over time. I'm no skilled modmaker, and this is a bigger mod than I'd expect anyone to make by request but I still wanted to share my thoughts with the community. I have three main skill branches to this tree I'd like to touch on so here goes. - The hunting branch. Works like Hunterborn already does by field dressing and harvesting parts from animals, and perks including better chances to get better pelts, chance to increase ingredients, and chance to increase butchered meat. Other perks could decrease the time it takes to field dress and harvest. - The camping branch. Perks could include less resources needed to set up camp, fires burn for longer, fires you make are hotter and reach a larger radius, and a perfectly tacky named perk "The cold never bothered me anyway," which would reduce how quickly the player succumbs to exposure. - Lastly I had an idea for a branch of the skill tree that would work well with iNeed, the cooking branch. Cooking in Skyrim is boring and, for me atleast, ignored. With a lack of a sense of progression to it, and alchemy being way more beneficial, it seems like what's the point. iNeed keeps in theme with survival, but still doesn't make cooking exciting. This would add perks that would basically give the player a reason to cook. Perks would unlock new recipes for higher skilled meals. The meals would correspond with beneficial status effects that, with a higher leveled skill, would increase in potency like potions do for alchemy. Other perks could be stuff like "For 1 hour after cooking, player gains the status 'hot food' and any food eaten will warm the player up." I'd love to see cooking feel as fun and beneficial as alchemy but for different purposes than alchemy. So with that, we'd have a skill tree with three branches, one for hunting, one for cold weather survival and camping, and another for cooking. The star sign would be a campfire. No, I haven't mapped out every perk, but I just have fun kicking what it could be like around in my head. And no, I'm not really expecting this to get made, I just hope people out there think it would be as fun as I do.
