Hey so let me start off by saying I already tried copying all the players animation from Skyrim - Animations.BSA and replaced all custom animations in /data, and that Skyrim is version 1.4.27 and all my mods and utilities (SKSE, BOSS, NMM, Automatic Spells, Script Dragon, SBW, Wrye Bash) are up to date and I update Automatic Spells, Wrye Bash's bashed patch, and my load order (running BOSS first, then NMM to sort it, and making sure my plugins.txt and loadorder.txt are sorted before playing) When I attack (I'm pretty sure it's just when I attack my offhand weapon) in third person when dual wielding, my character disappears and my sound suddenly cuts off. In first person, the screen goes grayish blue and the sound cuts off. I remain invisible until I sheathe my weapons or un-equip one, but as for the sound cutting off, it seems to come back on at at random after sheathing/un-equipping my weapons. It happens every time I attack with my left hand while dual-wielding (haven't tried it with just a weapon in my left hand yet). well then, you should still try reinstalling Skyrim somewhere besides Program Files and Program Files (x86). as for the patch idk there's nothing on there website

you need to be way more specific, you can't just say that it says "unable to get write permissions and random crap." if you get more than one error message, you can't just yadayada over the details because they could be what helps you/others solve your problem. since I don't even know what your trying to do (open Skyrim or nexus mod manager, and at what point are you getting your error message(s)?) all I can say is make sure you run both skyrim and NMM as administrator (right click TESV for skyrim or NexusClient.exe for NMM and click run as administrator, or go to properties->Compatibility->Run as administrator) and also make sure your skyrim folder and your nexus mod manager folder and everything in them are not marked as "Read Only" (right click on the folders, go to Properties and uncheck Read Only and click yes when it asks if you want to apply that to all subfolders and files inside.

that's really weird. All i can suggest is the obligatory: make sure you have 1.4 at least, update your SKSE, update your NMM, deactivate everything related to SkyUI in NMM, download the latest version of SkyUI making sure its the version with the NMM installer, activate SkyUI. If you were updating from a previous version of skyUI and it asked you if you wanted to upgrade and you pressed yes instead of no, that's why you didn't get the installer and that also means it probably didn't install correctly.

Those are the only plugins you have? you should have an Update.esm file if you're games fully updated. a lot of mods will require version 1.4, and a lot of the time they dont even post that on the description because they assume it goes without saying. install/reinstall the latest patch for skyrim and I'd be surprised if it didnt solve your problem make sure your plugins.txt looks like that too. i'm pretty sure loadorder.txt is used by NMM, etc to keep track of active and inactive plugins (I think it's because Skyrim puts inactive plugins at the bottom of the load order in addition to not displaying them in plugins.txt) and plugins.txt is what's used by the actual game (and doesn't show inactive plugins)

well whichever folder Skyrims launcher recognizes the plugin exists in, is the right folder to put it in. btw, if the .esp file wasn't already listed in plugins.txt, that means it's not active. if it's still not active and you ran the game since adding it to plugins.txt and loadorder.txt, it should be gone from plugins.txt too if it comes down to it (hopefully you only have a few mods), you should reinstall steam to a folder besides program files or program files (X86). Its a bad idea to install to those two folders. I have mine running on an external hard drive under T:/The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim with 100~ mods and for the most part it's working good, so installing to C:/ or C:/Games or something might fix it.

What's not working? the books not showing up in the Cursed Chest in the Skyforge (in Whiterun, near the Companions base, Jorrvaskr or whatever)? The chest itself isn't showing up? Maybe try creating the common/Skyrim/Data folders? Maybe put it more towards the end of your load order in plugins.txt and loadorder.txt (in the same folder as plugins.txt, though I think nexus mod manager and/or boss creates it)? ps. make sure you have the latest patch (1.4.27, unless you wanna get the new 1.5 beta patch), and maybe install the latest non-beta version of SKSE (google it, it will be one of the first results and get the beta version if you have the 1.5 patch for skyrim installed)

Update: Well, I found (through the use of notepad) that Automatic Spells_English.STRINGS has all those spanish (not french actually) words in it banditos, lupo, etc. Sooooo.... what should I do from here? there's also .ILSTRINGS and .DLSTRINGS files. Before, the only other language i had in my game was the first perk two-handed perk-tree being in german. Now, after only changing my load order, I've got french named animals and weapons and my one-handed perk tree is german now too. I downloaded the english version of all my mods, and I'm absolutely positive none are just a WIP for english translation or just not supposed to be english. Wth's going on? Honestly, all I have are well-known mods. Everything's the latest version, including SKSE, ScriptDragon, NMM, Wrye Bash, BOSS...
