  1. Using the console to change the players..'weight' for purposes of -CBBE- is not working for me not matter what I do...tips? Is this even the right command? tried... player.setweight 25 setweight 25 (with self targeted) player.setweight "25" grrr.... how safe is 'showracemenu' I can't tell you how many times I messed my obvlions toons up with that old process...lol

And that is the load order to. I guess I could load the game up with most of them disabled and see if that crashes it. But it just seems odd cause most of the place I crash are once I left a city.... There is almost always a gate near the places I crash. Though I have still been able to run up and enter some of them.
  3. I'm running the current v18 of OBSE and it appears to be crashing my oblivion. This mainly happens when I'm riding around on my mount and it will just black screen crash-to-desktop I've tried playing with some of the graphic settings, turning them down and up. But it will pretty reliably crash in the same spots when travel on horse. At first I thought it was a corrupted core file, but on a whim I tried running Oblivion straight without OBSE and it doesn't crash at all and I can ride around all the areas that use to crash me every time, without a problem Ver 1.2.0.416 of Oblivion (Game of year edition w/ Shivering Isle and Knights installed) Ver 1.0.0.1 of Oblivion launcher, OBSE V.0018 most of my mods are clothing/item related + a house addon and one "sexy fun" pose addon that requires OBSE Computer has run the game fine until now, but I've mostly been able to fast-travel to locations I need and now I need to hunt for them, thus more riding. 3.0 P4 HT, 3 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 2600 AGPx8 Less than a month old rebuild of OS with a new drive and everything. Thanks again for any help.
  4. I saw the link and I used it. :-) What the guide doesn't tell you is how to make one from scratch insted of using an existing NPC as a template. But it's all good. I found a npc with very stripped down UI that spawns right where I place her to boot. So thanks again for the links - I did see them.
  5. Thank to both of you for the tips I'll take a look at the mod. Also, is there even a way to make a NPC from scratch? Or do you always need to copy an existing one?
  6. Thanks, been spending hours learning this. Still having a few problems. Copying a existing npc gives it....alot of bagage...such as reactions and converstaion, etc that is ahrder to deal with, So right now I'm trying to find less scripted characters to copy to decore my house with. EDIT UPDATE: Now my new npcs are there in the TESCS but when I zone into the room in-game they aren't. Guess I'll make new ones. One problem I'm having is getting somebody to appear in one place. They always are standing a few feet from where I want them when I load the game up. Any advice for that? And not follow me with their body when I walk past them,,,think I'm figuring it out. I want to stand some guards which are not appearing where I want them exactly. The other thing I want to do might be WAYYY above my abilities, so I'm willing to do reading if somebody can point me in the right direction..but just telling me is fine too...but... I want a dungeon with some...prisoners... I have the mod that chains people up from this site called "Chain_it" after you cast a spell and select some options. Any way to make that permanent as part of their character so they appear that way with me doing anything? Sounds pretty complicated so I'm not sure. If I could get my guards and prisoners to jsut spawn where they are set to and not keep turning around..that would be great.
  7. Kinda new to deep moding, but having fun/ I have a nice bi house, thanks to All_New_House. The only way to create npc in my house I've found is to do .player.createfullactorcopy I want to move them around and place them in exact places, or really close to it...you know..chain a few to the wall....get one to lounge in the pool. suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help
