  1. So, I was playing along when I had accidentally killed Wulf Wild-born, a Skaal in Solsthiem. I looked him up and found out he had a quest related to him. (Strange right? Most quest npcs are unkillable, but he wasn't) I could just reload my save, or use the console command, but I had another thought. Wouldn't it be cool if I could just bring his spirit back long enough to talk to him? So, here's my idea. Like a raise dead spell, this would be a spell you cast on a corpse. It would then create a copy of that npc in spirit form. You could talk to it, maybe continue quests if they have some, or just kill it and get some ectoplasm. The spell wouldn't last for a long time, just long enough to have a chat. After that they fade back to Sovengarde, or Oblivion, or wherever. Maybe if this works there could be a more permanent version of the spell, I dunno. That's about it. It seemed like a simple enough mod to make, but I have no experience with making spells. I also don't know how the game would react to quest-related npcs and their deaths/not deaths, but I thought it was worth asking if anyone wanted to make this. If it works out fine, then this might be a method to make more quest NPCS killable, since there would be an option to the player to continue the quest.
  2. Hey, I'm new to the creation kit and have been running into some issues. I've been trying to add a room to the living quarters of Jorrvaskr, because the Harbinger should have a better space to store weapons and armor. (Plus there's no kitchen, and Telma, the old cleaning lady, has no bed.) But for now, I've been trying to expand the Harbinger's bedroom and add a room across the Harbinger's room. But I've had two problems. 1) I've managed to expand the Harbinger's room to make it a sort of L shape, and at one of those ends everything is fine. But the other end doesn't allow light to pass through, as if there was a wall there. It's pretty distracting. What's causing this? 2) I made that other room across the harbinger's bedroom, and it works fine, except one thing. When I open the doors, I just see grey space and the candle's lighting effects. Nothing else is rendered until I enter the room. Then everything in the room I just came from, plus the part of the wall there, is gone and replaced with unrendered greyness with light effects. So, is there anything I can do about these weird light and non-rendering areas?
