  1. Hi guys, I need some few advice. I've been playing Skyrim for awhile, I've tested several ENB's but it would seems that my mobile GPU (GTX 960m 4GB VRAM) isn't enough to run the game (with ENB) at 60 FPS, mostly it drastically drops my FPS below 30 FPS to 29 FPS or worst 24 FPS and it's not playable. So I've been thinking of buying myself a new laptop with SLI number, now most of you will probably recommend of building a desktop but I couldn't because I travel a lot and there is no way that I will be bringing an entire desktop, so I prefer portability (I know, I'm wasting lots of money). I will just make things simple, does Skyrim support SLI mobile GPU and does a dual GTX 970m or dual GTX 980m enough to run the game with the most demanding ENB and 4k texture mods at 60 FPS? On the second thought, how's a single GTX 980m performs?
  2. Pretty much I realized that I wasn't following the correct installation of ENB, especially the binary series which I always use the latest version that cause lag or I just sometimes messed up with the settings in the ini files. Realizing all the errors I made and I retried to install Project ENB, RealVision, OpethFeldth ENB and they all seems to be running pretty fine in my laptop. Damn, I was nearly going to give up in my laptop and thinking what a shitty GPU a GTX 960m was but to heck with it...it was just fine after all.
  3. Here are the comparisons for ICIBINE 3; to be honest it doesn't look bad but I like ENB's more. I also believe with a few tweaks using IMAGINATOR can get a much better results than using ENB's, if you simply tinker with the settings. NOTE: * I have CoT and ELFX installed which I believe adds a bit of color to the game, ICIBINE enhances those colors a bit. * Removed Vignette and Black borders since they are annoying. Vanilla (CoT + ELFX): http://i.imgur.com/TacqSOX.jpg ICIBINE 3 Normal Version (CoT + ELFX) http://i.imgur.com/U1YfLEf.jpg ICIBINE 3 Warm Version (CoT + ELFX) http://i.imgur.com/QPK3U3a.jpg ICIBINE 3 Cinematic Version (CoT + ELFX) http://i.imgur.com/XtpEg1X.jpg In my personal taste the NORMAL version of ICBINE 3 is the best, with DYNAVISION it's all perfect. Now I'm off to tweaking the colors using IMAGINATOR and possibly KILLER SKIN SSS PATCH (hopefully will work. Enjoy the screens folks! http://i.imgur.com/QjX4bHI.jpg They all run at exactly 60 FPS inside and outside, like the author said "Zero Performance Loss" and he stand correct. Whatever FPS you've got right now it will remain the same after installing ICIBINE 3 and possibly with DYNAVISION.
  4. I will try that. I've tried it but everything seems to be like BLEAK ENB.
  5. Recently I've been trying different ENB mods particularly the perfomance ENB, I've taken screenshots for me to compare and see which ENB that suits my taste but I decided to share this images to the community rather than just deleting the images and hopefully it can help someone decides which ENB they want to use. I know there are some ENB comparisons out there but most of them are focusing on the most endorsed ENB and sadly they are all FPS killer and for us who happens to owned a low system PC, we're kinda left in the wind. System Specs: GTX 960m 4GB VRAM i7-4720HQ 12GB RAM If you have a better specs than mine then you can run this ENB at 60 FPS, if you have lower specs then you will most likely run below of my current frame rate for each ENB that I've show here. Note: * I'm using Climates of Tamriel and ELFX during the screenshots of this images so it might slightly differ the colors. *You can also see the FPS counter at the top left corner. * I only took screenshots to my current save game progress, so I won't be able to cover all the location of Skyrim. * I probably won't be able to test all the available performance ENB, but I will try to cover as many as possible. * I will update this thread when I tested other ENB. Dreamer - Real Performance ENB by TheSlaayer http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66465/ Shift ENB - Performance by Bretton http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57935/? Clarity ENB - Performance by Bretton http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61738/? PerformanceXP ENB by Nikita http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53083/? Note: Running around the crowded areas (lots of tress, grass, etc.) drops my FPS to 25 FPS. EDIT: ICIBINE 3 + CoT + ELFX + IMAGINATOR = Produces amazing results without performance loss. http://i.imgur.com/QjX4bHI.jpg
  6. Use LOOT for your load order, you need to clean those offical master files (.esm) a.k.a update.esm, dragonborn.esm (clean it twice), heartfires.esm, dawnguard.esm and other mods that LOOT requires you to clean with TES5EDIT. Here is the video tutorial for that: I think this is the best tutorial here than Gopher.
  7. How much performance it uses ? I got zero performance loss. I'm running Skyrim in a mobile GPU (GTX 960m) at Ultra with 2K Textures, CoT, ELFX, and other graphical enhancement overhaul at 60 FPS and not a single framerate drop in normal areas, but in crowded areas I sometimes notice a framerate drops to around 1-3 FPS but its not noticeable but I do not like ICIBINE looks mainly because it doesn't have stuff than standard ENB. I can also suggest Dreamer ENB is also good, zero FPS loss in my system.
  8. EDIT: Nevermind, got it all fixed but I need to reinstall Vanilla, MO, LOOT, and TES5EDIT, installed my mods and run LOOT then I watched this video on how to properly use TES5EDIT in cleaning mods for MO:
  9. Scrape off everything above and use ICIBINE 3: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63839/? is all you need for all crappy PC.
  10. i'm not an ambitious monkey who cant play if its not 60 FPS.
  11. Tried the ENB, not only it makes the in-game environment looks plastic, it also overkill the FPS which it's not worth it, actually not worth it at all. Meeeh, trashed. RealVision, Seasons of Skyrim and RealLike are the best so far that I've tested, FPS drops is very minimal, considering that I have a rather slow mobile GPU (GTX 960m) and running vanilla Skyrim is around 43 FPS outdoors, 60 FPS indoors but with ENB installed it drops to around 33-35 FPS outdoors, 45-55 FPS indoors (caves, taverns). I've tried this ENB and used them to vanilla skyrim without other mods installed. So if I basically going to add more mods such as high quality texture, overhauls, etc. my FPS might drop to around 28-30 but I can then overclocked my GPU a bit and regain a few bit of FPS and I can live playing it with 30-35 FPS.
  12. FPS Booster from 2012 really works? Probably just a little bit but ENB's depends on the GPU performance and FPS booster won't be much of help even If you can overclock your crappy GPU it might help a bit but like I said just a little bit of around 2-5 FPS increase in performance.
  13. Perfect list. This is the most helpful information I've read so far for body replacer.
  14. this guy have 2 way sli gtx 780 don't talk to me about fps you definitely can't run this exactly.......
