Hello, I am starting this topic because it seems that after finally getting my fallout new Vegas on steam through the sale that happened a while ago, I managed to successfully modify my game to my liking without something going terribly wrong. However, it seems that after getting the fnv4gb tool that is required to even run my game with the mods that I currently have, when I attempted to load the new Cobalt ENB for my game and into the fnv4gb's exe folder, there was a huge error. It turns out after researching the issue, I needed to uninstall my GeForce experience in order to get rid of the d3d9 library error that I was receiving. Unfortunately this was only one of the problems I was having with the game, the second and more resilient error is the one I have formed this topic on. For some reason or another it seems that when I first ran the fnv4gb with the enb included, I was alright with the constant error message I was getting due to Experience not registering the transfering of my .dll files be placed in the exe folder for the tool. Due to this, purple/green dots randomly flashed onto my computer and froze the game while also sending me to a black screen that destroyed all of my other process as well as the functioning of my computer. I haven't found anyone yet who has the same problem as me, and therefore I would like to know if I am looking at the problem in the wrong way and instead it is a common bug that requires a simple solution. Below are examples of the errors I am getting, and I am unsure if giving my system specs would matter in this situation so I will wait for someone to ask me for them in the response to this post.

I don't know if it will help you out any if your still playing fallout new vegas but I have had the exact same issues over the years until I happened across this mod http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34832 my game still freezes sometimes but it works a lot better now. again I am not entirely sure it will work for you but it is worth a shot.

your right I've gotten my game to point where everything is perfectly fine so I don't want to screw up anything anymore therefore I shall stop modding my game and start enjoying it instead. but I still want to use wyre bash so how do I download python? let me post my load order though because I don't know if that'll help or not but at this point I really don't care :cool: .

what if I made things a bit simpler by add what my pc has that way if someone is using the same system as I am, and has most of the mods I do plus I just restart my BOSS what then? I'll just add my load order and its okay if no one has my specific requirements because even though DR6 dosen't work. BBC and OOO do work but the problem is either I don't know what I'm doing with wyre bash or somethings wrong cause it won't start up and boss just opens up internet explorer and stating what mods I have and which ones are ghosted or unrecognized. So I could really use some help with that.

it would also be much appreciated if someone could copy their whole oblivion folder and either 7zip it or format it into a rar file and then just give me a download link and that way deadly reflex, bananasplits better cities and any other mods I might have trouble with could easily be fixed. because they would already be formatted into obmm and BOSS, and also wyre bash.

nvm on BBC nothing went wrong but now I can't fast travel and is it possible to dual wield guns in this game cause I was looking at screenshots for silverlight warglaive armor and this one dude had to silver handguns

so does anyone have any tips on how to use BBC exactly cause I've been asking this question for some time now and its kind of getting repetitive. I'm not saying that nobody's helping with it but I finally fixed DR6 and installed a couple of new mods to replace some old ones so I'll be posting a new load order as soon as I get them put in the right place this time. "FALSE" sorry I never really posted my problem with BBC so I'll do that now and add the load order later.

okay so first do I have to get rid of all the animation replacer that stuck to my meshes when I got rid of aluku's replacer or do I just overwrite everything with DR6.

the reason for the default keys reverting with DR6 was actually because I had my animation replacer installed first so thanks for that, and as for the dodge key my problem is that its using my f key which is the equip key and won't let me change anything or even bring up the configuration box.

it would be nice if someone told me where I could find either a mod that helps me use both or a mod that gives me the deadly reflex experience and custom animation replacers

okay so first I need to know why my deadly reflex 6 isn't working with this mod called aluku's animation replacers. meaning that I can start the game fine but when I get into the game the message boxes come up asking me to hold down the keys I'd like to use but whenever I type in a key it automatically use the default keys and the reason this is a bad thing is because my wolven anthros mod uses the x key to transform into a wolf but DR6 uses the x key as the dodge button so I have to either use a different race or figure out some way to fix the keys, and the only reason I have aluku's replacer activated is because I like how it gives my character multiple choices on how to fight, be it with a sword, a staff, a bow, or with my bare hands, and it felt awesome! :dance: but if I had to choose between DR6 and the animation replacer I'd probably pick DR6 because it would be awesome to chop someones head off. so once I've gotten help with this I'll list why I can't use BBC or certain Unique Landscapes.

I would like to apologize for using epic in the wrong context but I like that word a lot and as for the three mods I'm talking about you would have to first see all the mods I have currently on my game so I'll just put my list up really quick and then explain the trouble I've been having with them. Bananaspilts Better Cities and some of the unique landscapes including the castle and deadly reflex 6 are the only mods I'm currently having trouble with

but if this topic is really not helping anyone and is doing more bad then it is good I'll take it down, besides truth be told it's isn't as big of a deal as I thought it was and obviously if everyone looked at the read me for the mod some eye strain may be prevented. I just got tired of people like me doing everything by the letter and still coming up with zilch

truth be told every mod is AWESOME I just thought it would be if not a lot just a little bit helpful to post some mods, and not every single mod in the whole TESNEXUS so stop crowding my topic with rude comments if you don't like what it says PLEASE MOVE ALONG also I take back what I said all mods are worth it, that's why games like these are so addictive. :biggrin: but the reason for this whole thing was so if you had a mod and it really was EPICLY BROKEN and whoever made the mod was currently busy or something, you could post it here and if someone could instantly fix it that would work itself out. look I'm not trying to attack any modders I'm just saying that it would be nice if someone said something about them which I'm sure a lot of modders have.

I would appreciate it if anyone or everyone posted all of the mods that literaly don't work because what I'm trying to do here is state that if you don't know if they work or not why are they still on the tesnexus instead of being fixed or at least listed. I apologize if a topic like this has already come up but if it hasn't its about time it did.

also one thing needs to be clarified if I can't make any folders in: program file (86x), my documents, or the desktop. So where am I suppose to make this game folder at? I followed Bben46's instructions to the letter but I didn't understand what everyone ment by puting my game in the C:/oblivion games or something like that I just need to know what that is and I wouldn't really need any more help because that's the only part I'm confused with.

I am actually using windows 7 but ironically enough I took oblivion out of the program files and put it into a folder on my desktop and I also removed both Caesar's one with nature and the HDR version of natural weather thanks

I'd have to know what an OS is first and its in the programs under betheseda and my obmm is saying there all in the right place

maybe I should stop moding or at least have two or three good mods and that be it

1. my downloads are in the right place the oblivion data folder for the mods that go there, and the oblivion folder for ones like obse and obmm 2. my game also runs without any mods installed 3. I am currently using OBSE
