I searched everywhere as well but found nothing, can someone please solve this, I believe it adds so much more to the game to have a voice modulator like NPCs wearing power armor helmets in Fallout 3! New Vegas really screwed this part up!

Powerarmor Helmet Voicechanger

I agree with you DuWMinh, but I can't find any way to transfer what modulates the voices in Fallout 3 to New Vegas. Maybe somebody knows how to? -
FalloutNV.exe has stopped working...
jambonpaper replied to jambonpaper's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
This part of your first post strongly suggests that you didn't buy the game, as Steam patches are not numbered. My game is bought, I didn't want it to work through steam though, I have other arguments but just trust me on this please. Can someone find a solution for me please? -
FalloutNV.exe has stopped working...
jambonpaper replied to jambonpaper's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Ive already done that twice, everything works perfectly before I speak with Mr House, then I save after speaking with Mr House, (ive never passed this point in the game in my life) and I try to save after, in The Strip, wherever, then I have to quit the game cause I have to go to bed (because I waste so much time troubleshooting this f****ng game) Then when I try to load that save, it doesn't work, and I'm back to loading before I meet Mr. House. I cannot advance!! -
FalloutNV.exe has stopped working...
jambonpaper replied to jambonpaper's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Tried that, even down to the point of only having FalloutNV.esm Still crashes -
I try to load a game and my game started crashing a week ago My game has 40 hours of gameplay. Ive tried everything, from: - Modifying bUseThreadedAI=1 and iNumHWThreads=2 - Registry Cleaner - Clean Reinstall - Yes its patched to update 7 (1.4 I think) I have no major mods installed except for Requiem for the Capital Wasteland The rest is all just little tweaks like darkness and gun thingies. I even deactivated all my mods and it still crashes! Oh, and one more stupid detail (I can't contain my anger any longer) If I load a game before I enter The Strip, OHH now everything works fine! BUT! Here's the catch! When I start playing from there again and make a new save, then try to load it after quitting to desktop, that save makes my game crash and FalloutNV.exe has stopped working... PLEASE someone help! I tried playing this all my christmas holidays, and it f***ed with me the whole time, I feel so down for wasting so many hours of trying to make it work instead of actually playing!

Problem with stuttering
jambonpaper replied to Med111's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Have you tried closing all applications on desktop? -Closing unnecessary hidden icons -Firefox -etc Also, have you tried removing SLI (if you have it) and enabling HDR? (to remove flickering) -
Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me with this issue that I've had since the installation of the game. I have New Vegas update 7 with all the DLCs Enemies that try to come and attack me get stuck on their way to me (or they flee), and run back and forth, ghouls and radscorpions especially! They don't even attack me and I can shoot them while they just run left to right, trying to find a way to me, and there's an open clear space between them and me. Also, my companions don't follow well: - they start following, but then they get stuck, and I'm far from them - then suddenly they find a way back to me - this repeats all the time. When I look at my companions, I can see how they get stuck. (They are just running left to right close to an object such as a tree, rock, cement block, etc.) Inside buildings they are fine. Can someone please help me? Thanks!

I have the mod Locational Damage installed, but the head damage seems too high for someone who's wearing a Power Helmet. I tried scripting the "Gray Matters" Perk on Power Helmets, thus nullifying the effect of the realistic head damage multiplier when wearing a Power Helmet, so it's actually bulletproof (almost) But that did not work. It seems that the Gray Matters perk does not even work! Can someone please help me with this? I've been struggling for weeks and it's driving me crazy. I just figured that maybe a script could be done to put the head damage multiplier back to 1 when wearing a Power Helmet. But I don't know how to do so. Thank you to whoever figures this one out for me.

Can anyone help me create a script that when you wear an item it adds a perk, but when you unequip it the perk disappears as well. Here is exactly what I'm talking about I want Power Helmets to add the perk: Gray Matters (xx00d1fd) player.addperk 00d1fd - when equipping a Power Helmet player.removeperk 00d1fd when unequipping a Power Helmet Thanks Ps: I have an other similar thread going on, but the other one is not about perks, its just item effects but I think this is the more likely solution to work though.

Hi, I would like to know how I could add an effect plus existing rad resistance on Power Helmets. Or in other words, make all power helmets make heads resistant to all damage.. only the head! For example, a power would have (after mod completion): +3 rad resistance (already present in game) 25% damage reduced to the head (like the mysterious Gray Matters perk on fallout 3 wiki) but I don't want it to be a perk, I just want it to be an Item Effect Adamantium Skeleton Perk: is only body damage reducer Gray Matters Perk: (unused perk, only available through console) is only head damage reducer But I don't want a perk! I just want an effect, but I can't seem to find any way in G.E.C.K. to do it! I've checked the item effects (like Oblivion item enchantements) but I can't seem to seperate the head and body damage apart from eachother. I don't care if my DR (damage rating) is 85%, i just want a Head Damage Reducer Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Only through scripts can I do it? Sounds hardcore, have you got any advice for me?
