No don't worry I wasn't using both haha, I was using NMM for fallout. But anyway I solved this problem! I noticed that I could update MO and I did once finding some odd login issues. In the end I think it was either the type of file extensions and their permissions inside MO got changed OR whatever was causing me to not be able to connect to the server also stopped my game from loading the esms. Thank you guys for all of your help!

So I closed BitDefender for a bit, and tried restarting my computer, same result. So what I can't remember if while using Mod Organizer, do I still need to move ESM's into the data folder? I've also never had this problem before which is odd, and BitDefender isn't sending me any notifications that it's blocking anything.

The only thing remotely related is that I updated and reinstalled Nexus Mod Manager but I dont think the two are linked

Hey guys, So a month or so ago I was playing Skyrim Special Edition (very modded) with no problem. I tried to run it today (using Mod Organizer) and for some reason no mods are being recognized. It seems that the ones that don't require ESM's are still running. But every mod that requires an ESM gives me an error on trying to load. The files are still in their correct position but I can't remember if the ESM's need to be in the data file or if Mod Organizer takes care of that. Either way in the Mod Organizer program I get no errors and the ESM's still say they are loaded. Any help is appreciated and I can send any additional information needed, thank you in advance!

So I recently uninstalled all my mods and am now reinstalling them except that now that I have finished, my main menu won't load. The Skyrim symbol appears but no music plays and there are no options (play, load, options, etc)

Update: When I overclock the same weird effect gets worse

So I have a heavily modded Skyrim and for the most part I have all the bugs and kinks worked out. However when I look at lighting I get a stutter *mostly indoors*. However my frame rate stays fairly high between 40-60 fps. In an attempt to solve the problem I went to document it by recording it in FRAPS. But as soon as I started recording the stutter vanished! When I begin to record and my framerate drops to 30ish FPS the stutter is nowhere to be seen and the game runs smoothly. When I stop recording it's back. Limiting my FPS does NOT solve the problem. This is honestly one of the weirdest things I have even seen in regards of stutter. Please help, thanks for your time guys!

So I tried to install this wonderful mod following the instructions to the letter but it didn't work. So I tried to uninstall it and NMM crashes. Basically I just need some help installing this whole thing...Thanks guys!

I'll try that and get back to you but another thing I've noticed is that I get a lot of lag on the map screen. It stutters quite a bit.

It looks to me like some kind of enchantment. I could be totally wrong but that's my best guess. I would try unequipping everything and seeing if it's still there. Hope that helps!

Hey guys (and girls), so I haven't played skyrim in a few months but the last time I played I have a stable (and good) FPS, no stutter, and barely any crashes. So that's what I expected when I started it back up but instead I get a laggy, stuttery mess! In interiors I have no lag but the stutter is so bad that it's unplayable! Outside looking anywhere causes a drop in FPS and a large stutter. I am running a fairly good computer, GTX 770, 16GB of RAM, etc. What baffles me the most is that when I turned it off for the last time it was running fine, and now after changing nothing, it's not...Can anyone help?

Hey guys! So I finally found what my problem of either a CTD on entering Whiterun OR being met with white textures everywhere and then a crash. It is Sharpshooters ENB! I absolutely love this ENB preset and if anyone could help me find why this is happening that would be amazing! I will post my load order below. (as far as I know this is a unique problem) I know I need to clean the DLC's I'm doing a clean install so I will fix that later

I have a super weird broblem XD when I enter the windpeak inn I CTD. When I disable furniture upgrades in SMIM I can enter just fine...anyone know why?

So recently I have had widespread CTD's when entering cities (whiterun and sometimes Solitude) and interiors (Drunken huntsman and Windpeak INN as well as the White Hall) on the rare chance I do get into these places I get errors with the textures. A greyish white covering for all of them at certain angles. so it looks like it was JK's Whiterun but I don't know why. I am going to try and reinstall [edit] Reinstall didn't work. I had Dawn of Whiterun running and it worked fine. Next I put in JK's and it crashed on entry. Then I went back to just Dawn of Whiterun and it crashed on entry... so I got it working again but now I crash in solitude... I feel like I'm just making it worse. and now whiterun won't work with anything

Even if I disable that I crash... I finish loading then right before it should show me the city it CTD's and the picture from earlier is what it looked like when I finally got into the city after disabling the mod... [edit] tried COC'ing into Warmaiden's for a quest and it worked 1/3 times. No idea if that's relevant but it's more info.

So I use LOOT every time I install a new mod and am fairly familiar with Load Orders. However yes you are right that does seem odd that Whiterun is by itself. I'll disable it and get back to you. As for texture mods I use aMidianborn Whiterun and SMIM which affects whiterun as well as Project Parallax. [Edit] The extra whiterun .esp was the patch version from Dawn of Whiterun which made it compatible with JK's Whiterun...I think it was anyway. Not sure. Also Disabling Dawn of Whiterun still causes a crash when entering Whiterun.

So I have been playing with Both mods mentioned above and I started noticing something. There is a large amount of clipping when using these. They say they go together well and they really do but something is wrong with patching them together. When I use the patch supplied for "improved" I had issues with the office and a few other spaces http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=353053746. and when I use the other I get problems with the doors http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=353053769 and the office looks exceedingly plain! Can anyone help me install both these mods and fix the Load Order? It seems beyond my abilities.

I just reinstalled and it worked. It also says on their page that it works great with Racemenu...

So I am having a problem which I believe is from the beloved EEO. Some mod that is manipulating faces is making mine look very...Nord...http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=352418364 My character is Wood Elf and whatever is doing that seems to be clipping over EEO. It is rounding my face and making it so eyebrows and scars are clipping through my face. Also when I change the nose nothing happens save for the scars moving, almost as if it's moving underneath. Can anyone help?

So I can install Magicka sabers perfectly fine but as soon as I try to add the extended one with a few NPC's and lightsabers hilts that look like they are from star wars there is no blade on the saber and I can't add most of them. Please help, thanks.
