  1. Hi, I've got the same problem appearing after a set of changes through my install. Here are the steps since I first ran NMM and now: - installed Skyrim SE through Steam, on a different location than steam's default (does that with every game, and everything's fine). Location is: "F:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition" - installed NMM 0.65.2 - downloaded multiple mods through Nexus to NMM - activated mods to SkSE - tested my Skyrim, finally chose to go back to a pristine Vanilla and reinstalling to another Hard drive (F is an HDD, wanted to install my game to an SSD) - uninstalled Skyrim through Steam - DID NOT UNINSTALL / DEACTIVATED mods in NMM!!! (this must be the point where I know... I f*#@ed up) - installed Skyrim SE to another location: "H:\SkyrimSE\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition" (the SSD) - uninstalled NMM and deleted everything NMM related but downloaded mods (about 200) - reinstalled NMM (had to since NMM's installation folder needs to be the same drive than Skyrim's) - launched NMM and scanned my games From there, two things happened: - every mod is now unassigned and everything I tried led me to a NMM crash (update and reset to Nexus' site default, check for mod update...) - when trying to download a mod through Nexus, I have a message telling me my NMM isn't set up to work with Skyrim (which is totally false since IT DOES recognize Skyrim and everything else) So here is my problem, what can I do to have my NMM function normally after all this mess. Thanks in advance for any help.
  2. Hi there, I've got a problem merging the rpg_param.xml files: I've taken three mods that works perfectly fine if used alone one after the other, but when it comes to take the lines each mod modifies in rpg_param.xml and put them together into one file, the effect of those modifications don't work as expected. The threed mods I've taken are: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/12 https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/151 https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/144 and the modified pak is here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AnAxfAc1m1KvgUbf0EBqALw_Wlk6 XP seems to work well, but both repair kits modifications and weight do not. Please help me, I'm afraid I can't find a solution to this alone :(
  3. Again BlackRoseOfThorns, a great thanks to you ! You've helped me a lot. Now I've got a whole new game to fathom ;)
  4. Wow, BlackRoseofThorns (always made me laugh when calling someone by his/her nickname, especially when it's definitely not a normal name), you helped me really a lot ! So, what I did (thanks to you): - uninstalled CoT / SoS / SFO and all comp. patches related to these (meaning re-downloaded and installed other mods that were compatibles with these) - changed my .ini the way you advised - installed AOS2 / Verdant / Simply Bigger Trees / Skyrim Perf. Plus / One Mountain to Rule Them All - removed RLO and replaced with ELFX - removed True Vision and replaced (again) with Real Vision for 0.266 (performance settings) - did a LOOT / TESVedit cleaning / Wrye Bash Now, I really have a great balance between performance (FPS are steady and for now no exterior stutter or sudden lag) and graphics (nice lighting, great changes to meshes / textures and overall great ambiance). You have responded to my enquiries in all manners possible, and for that I thank you ! Finally, I have one last question (eventhough it was in my very first questions in this topic), but I cannot even hope you'd take again some of your time and patience to help me on that case : I've looked thoroughly in different sites (Steam workshop / G.E.M.S. / Nexus) all the mods, sorting with the most endorsed / downloaded, to take the "better" mods possible (lore-friendly for as much as possible) that would increase my game experience. As I already finished Skyrim a few years ago when it first came back, now I've got plenty of other reasons to come back to it nowadays, but if you could just look at all the mods I haven't got but you feel like I should take a closer look at, I'd be really glad ! I know it would require you some time looking at my list of mods (c.f. my first on this page) but that would be awesome and I don't know how could I thank you again ! ;) So... feel free to give me some more good advice on really great gameplay/content, lore-friendly, mods that I MUST have ;) Thanks again.
  5. wow, a million thanks ! That's what I'm talkin' about when I said I needed help ! Ok, I'll do a nice revamp / reinstall of my mods, removing SoS and SFO, I also read RLO wasn't the plugin neither was CoT for weather overhaul effects, what do you advise me for improving weather and overall lighting effects (beside ENB). Another thing is load order, I really think LOOT doesn't make it right, eventhough it DOES work, there "seems" to be some kind of problems (I noticed rain doesn't fall when I hear storming weather and watch nice lightning effects, I also use hunterborn, but can't seem to make it work, maybe an untold incompatibility with iNeed and other wild animals and/or recipes mods... any suggestions here ?) I'll do all that and tell you the outcome. Thanks again.
  6. thanks for this first reply, giving a try to these changes. As for the iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure, found in Vurt's Skyrim Flora Overhaul official website, it's the number of different types of grass (variety), so a lower value helps increase performance over quality. Trying to find the right balance, there is my problem ! :)
  7. Hi there, First of all, pardon my english, it's not my mother-tongue. To make it simple, I played Skyrim when it first came out, Vanilla style... Then time passed by, and I decided lately to come back into this great game, but with another 'touch' to it. Being aware of the numerous 'mods' out there, I decided to take a thorough look at them, make a selection of the finest and go wild. 'Nuf said, now, I'm at 200 mods ! (and I didn't put all the mods I wanted to). After days of headaches and hard work, everything went fine : game is stable, really neat, great gameplay/graphics/UI experience, and so on. Then I heard of ENB's, and tried, and tried, and tried again, to find one that would be not too performance hungry but still add to the game experience. So, in a few words, I found true vision enb (performance settings) with the latest 0.266 enb was quite great. But adding with all the mods, it tends to lag (stutter should I say, meaning, it runs smoothly most of the time, then suddenly, le wild FPS drop rate appears). What I'm asking here may be too much, but after two weeks of hard work and no-playing time, I'd like some help ; if anyone, ANYONE would care to help me improve : - load order of my mods (LOOT is not ultimately the best solution, so I've read, and eventhough everything "seems" to work fine, at 200-ish mods, there surely must be a better, brained-solution) - choice of my mods (I've not played skyrim but Vanilla... it's just NOW - in march 2015 - that I discovered mods - there SURELY are mods I've chosen that aren't a good choice, and other that should be) - tweaking of my .ini files so that my game with enb is the best graphical my PC can take with at least 30FPS min. (don't care if I'm not at 60 steady) I'd be soooooo glad ! In order for you to help me, I post here all my mods with load order (post LOOT/wrye bash), and all my .ini files. First are my PC specs : Intel Core i72600k 3.40Ghz (8 cores), parked cores at 90% min. 8Gb RAM NVidia GTX 770 2Gb VRAM 128Gb SSD Sandisk HDD for system 3To Western Digital Caviar Green HDD for games (steam is NOT in program files but in this HDD) NVidia driver 347.52 NVidia 3D settings for TESV : AA & AF application controlled here are my mods : here is my Skyrim.ini Here is my SkyrimPrefs.ini : Here is my enblocal.ini (True Vision ENB, used with enb 0.266 and enbhelper, performance settings) : My Skyrim's intial settings are set to ULTRA, I don't own the official DLC's (can't afford yet), only Vanilla + mods. Skyrim version is uptodate (steam 1.9.32.0., SKSE uptodate (1.7.1 rel 46) I run NMM/SKSE to launch the game (not in admin mode, UAC activated) And as I said Vanilla + allofmymods run at a steady 60 FPS, only when I activate an ENB (whichever, tried many), do I lose a boatload of FPS' ! Here you go. Of course I can answer any question you may ask in order to complete all these infos. TL;DR : Vanilla runs nice on my PC, steady 60FPS, I recently added wow such mods many enb wow, then load times so loooong and (mostly exterior) wild FPS drops. Me wants better load order, good advice on which mods are to be kept, to be removed, to be added, and ini files better tweaks to improve FPS and load time with mods AND enb ! THANKS a zillion-gazillion times !
