  1. Years ago I morphed the main characters (Anora, Teagan,Zathrian, etc) into my 'Old and Ugly' version of Origins, and yet I can't find find them in the global section, but that was years ago. Anyone point them out where they are?
  2. Followed and went to all areas listed on Wiki and got achievement, but I went to 'D's hideout instead of 'K's hideout so that should be corrected, altho I've never quite understood that "favors for interested parties' quest  anyway.
  3. From what I've seen, the achievement will pop only at top of fort drakan in 'one' complete playthru, not thru cumulative multiple playthrus. Guess I could do a new playthru with my ugly Flemmy witch morph...ha :ermm:
  4. Thanx but I did research this and none really confirmed it, I will disable it this afternoon and go thru the fade (groan) and see for myself...
  5. The only one not done. So does using 'skip the fade' prevent it from happening?
  6. ...I always leave him in his cage. I do not like him. That whole Quanari thing seems more fitting for science fiction outerspace milieu of Mass Effect anyway. Just thought
  7. I always play a mage in Origins, not liking its limitations on melee tho, as he seems to control the battlefield. Even if I try rogue or warrior it always seems I gravitate toward using Morrigan the most. Putting the mage in non-aggressive mode does help but then you'll have to monitor him constantly so he's blasting or casting spells, or setting his tactics in aggresive mode then. If you have the Awakening in Origins set-up the mage can use repel spells. Drakensang came out about a year before DOA ( WHO COPIED WHO? ) and suggest you give it a try, I think I like it even more than Origins. Altho there is some interaction with companions, nothing like the navigation with the mad/happy sex/friends relationships in Origins.
  8. I find playing a mage infinitely easier and more enjoyable in Origins than Drakensang, where it takes an eternity to cast a spell (and usually he's down before it's done!), so I really don't see your problem. The npc with the heaviest armor is the one the enemies usually head to first I found.
  9. There's a little mod for DSA called Eye of the Goddess, allows you to return to Throne room in Muralosh for congratulations after slaying Malgorra and on back to Ferdok and to your house. That's cool, like for River of Time, yet I think the bugs are all not worked out in this. I miss you MagdalenaDwojniak on Nexus.
  10. Ha...can't be anymore amusing than seeing Queen Anora addressing parliament in her bra and panties  Uh, what mods do you have installed? Did you reload old saves?
  11. My Daylen is drool-worthy...ha ha. I can't stop looking at him, thank goodness DAO is 3rd person, huh?http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/h475/andorian22/farewell2_zps1rkq8knm.jpg
  12. Would you like to cut out Godana's tongue in the visit with her?
  13. if i start out as a male cousland i get into the armor of diligence set after talking to daddy, dairren is certainly impressed! or you could just wear some noble clothes up until ostagar
  14. This was fun...a gun in DA. Seems a mage with a rapid fire arcane bolt spell would be nice to have
  15. Like I always do, I work my way thru the tower pretty quickly and come back later by myself to pick thru things (Summoning Sciences, et al) and nearly peed my pants when I re-entered the top and there was Uldred alive as the beast ready for battle again! Zevran administered the coup de grace on him the first time according to the battle statistics. It's a long fight but with a lot of potions it's not too hard as the only player. Actually, I think it's kind of fitting, here Cullen reassures Gregoir the tower is safe and still Uldred's up there alive, heh. I prolonged the first battle so he could turn Irving for the templars help, so does that matter? Is this a glitch or just my modded game? An easy way for xp if too much trouble. I went away after completing my tasks and he's alive again and again and again!!?? :ermm: Uldred can't be defeated. I love it.
  16. You should be able to set their attacks in their tactics...if you can't do that...well
  17. Hmmm...how in the world does Jowan even manage to complete the quest if he's sent in anyway? And Without cheating? I mean his magic power is virtually nil and he's of not much use at the start of the start as a mage, either. *scratches head*
  18. I just delete the folder of the mod in the Documents/Bioware/AddIns folder and remove the.erf file from the override core (?) folder. Start a new game or force a load, but may have weird results with that.
  19. My base 'guaranteed' crashes are coming out of Genitivi's house in Denerim, the first attack on the Sloth Demon ogre after rescuing companions in the Fade and coming out of the cellar into the courtyard of Redcliffe castle. I always save before proceeding and simply reloaad after the crash. Why is that? I have noticed that the longer the game is run (time playing) the random crashes increase. Also crashes seem fewer if I'm the only character (with no companions) in all areas. You do have a lot more stuff installed than I do...wow. Also, I have seemed to eliminated crashes by removing Awakening from my Ultimate edition game (and its ep1 extras) from the DAO folder. I went thru Awakening once a long time ago and have no desire to ever do it again, like DAII. Awakening in the OC still works.
  20. I want a romanceable Wynne mod! Now that I morphed her I'm in love!!!
  21. So...I think i have every non-official weapon and adventure dlc from Nexus installed and activated too and I've noticed more crashing than normal but liberally using quicksave helps tons. I started Lothering as a level 32 mage, now I think that's cool and never did that before
  22. Does not the All Origins mod let you play as a dwarf mage? I don't remember, seems like it would. So why do all the dwarfs in the assembly chamber carry staffs? I always thought that odd, as they're the same ones the mages carry.
  23. Things sometimes happen after a forced load. Beware I used some of the saved games on Nexus ...and weird results even after a new save. ... because the force load lists like 40 or so mods I need and which I don't use.
  24. Maybe it's the many mods I've installed or maybe not. And yet it seems it's with the unmodded base game, also, I think, but I like to play as a mage for the most part. What is with the DAO game's adjusting/mechanics (or whatever that word would be) in the game progression, is it flawed or just not really balanced well for a mage? My magic seems quite useful and powerful from the start up to about the 3rd major completion of the main quests. Then when I get to the Deep roads my magic (at best) seems feeble even tho I am a 'powerful mage' by that time. Even the lowest enemies seem to be constantly resisting my spells and no matter how much stuff I have equipped for spell resistance my immunity there also seems useless, too. Yes, I understand the darkspawn are quite nasty down there, but ****, this is ridiculous. Btw, I don't have any difficulty mods installed and went from Nightmare back down to hard, seeing I just don't have the patience for micromanagiing my/others tactics/actions constantly. Well, I do mine of course, but... It's all quite frustrating and I usually take control of Leliana and her archery and play her and let 'me' fend for 'himself' with his tactics which I think are best and not very useful. It's like he becomes that useless weakling Murdoch in the Redcliffe defense, and the first to fall (blehhh). Another 'grrrr' thing, why the **** have I a constant 'Aura of Weakness' penalty on my xp bar that I cannot get rid of now? I thought it was from not getting one of the Black Vial revenants down fast enough (which is when it first appeared), and would eventually disappear. Ugh. Another 'grrrr' thing is the ghastly blue fog surrounding me sometimes? It happens to Wynne and Morrigan, too, that takes a many transitions on the map to finally be rid of, it does go away but not my Aura of weakness! I've also tried thru console to become an archer (that seems cool because certainly It's something the mages at the circle could have had some sport with in their spare time, no?) yet no matter what I input, I can't seem to hit the side of a barn with a semi. I guess the game is just not going let me do that effectively (dexterity). Bah! yet I can sneak and picklocks quite effectively (cunning), go figure.
  25. Why not make the wisp into something like the spell wisp I already have...don't know what it does except add a circling and irritating green thing above my head. At least the wisp has lightning...tho it might be an irritant too
