  1. Basically, while flying to Miraak, the game CTDs as soon as I get the control popup telling me how to land. A quick check of the papyrus log shows that the final line directs to line 478 in the DLC2_QF_DLC2MQ07_020179D7.psc, which is the beginning of the landing sequence. Not entirely sure what's gone wrong. Has anyone encountered this before? Have any ideas about what the cause might be? System: Intel i5 2500K 3.3GHz Nvidia GTX560Ti 1GB VRAM 4GB RAM LOOT Log: EDIT: Alright, it doesn't seem to be a problem with the script. I just ran to the platform without mounting Sahrotaar and the game crashed at about the same distance, I checked the papyrus log to make sure it wasn't just caused by the same error and it wasn't. EDIT2: Deactivating just about every mod I can without breaking my save didn't work either... is there any way to complete the quest, stop Miraak from stealing my souls, and re-enable all of the dialogue in Skaal Village using the console?
  2. The nexus also makes it far easier to update due to the mod manager. You also won't get the spike of attention you'd likely get from hot files.
  3. You probably shouldn't use those for anything you plan to release... they'll be copyrighted, plus the nexus doesn't approve of ripped content unless you have permission from the developers.
  4. It's just Dejawolf's Helmets repacked and uploaded onto a russian site. There aren't any body armors included.
  5. You'd have to ask Nordic Games, they bought JoWooD in 2011.
  6. My thanks! Yes, the original references I used as concept art led me to the Teutonic banner, but I actually had the idea of retexturing it with Bruma's and Imperial's Banner (Actus' version), that would introduce Knights from the County of Bruma fighting under the imperial banner in the reach/whiterun/hjaalmarch. Very good idea, adding in a bit more connection to Bruma would be excellent seeing as it's right on the border.
  7. If you could export them to fbx and send them my way I could see about trying to get a few of them rigged.
  8. Yes! You're using blender right? What formats does it export to?
  9. I didn't get some new ideas for armors, clothes etc -.-' would like to start a littlelbit on the creationkit but I need working models for that. But when the mod is finished, you guys need a complete new savegame or the game won't load all the models. "need working models", cant you make them? I sent you the blender files and the textures. Wait, do you just need the models rigged?
  10. A lot of the textures are missing from the resource.
  11. How exactly is that intricate? It looks like just a plain gauntlet with a flared cuff.
  12. You should probably point at that the conversion rate from SL money to USD is small so he isn't making much profit. For example 299L$ amounts to $1.58USD, it's still bad and I think he should be sued to oblivion though...
  13. Everything points to frontline. They are a warrior race, they are the best natural fighters in Tamriel. The reason a lot of people think of them as assassins is because they look different but this is a design choice to distingush the differences in their culture. i suppose its open to opinon So you're saying every Redguard in an army fights on the frontline... that's what's confusing me about this debate... I'm perfectly aware that Redguards are some of the best fighters in Tamriel, but that doesn't mean they are all some of the best. Just like all Bretons aren't the best mages. I don't think the Alik'r's clothing looks like an assassin's, but they act and are reacted to as either assassins or a mercenary band with poor reputation. Another fact that makes me unsure of the Redguards being frontline pure warriors is this line in "Pocket Guide to the Empire: Hammerfell" "[Redguards] are indifferent soldiers, being unwilling to defer to authority or endure military discipline, and few serve in the Ruby ranks. There is no standing army in Hammerfell" This implies to me that they wouldn't use tactics that involved meeting the enemy head to head, rather, they would fight a lot more like skirmishers or perform hit-and-run attacks.
  14. That link doesn't say anything about their abilities or skill... The Alik'r in Skyrim, seem a lot more like assassins than anything else in my opinion. Besides the obvious difference that they are rather unsubtle about their mission. Think about the response of the guards of Whiterun to the two Alik'r, they sound like the hold some dislike against them, I think it would make sense for guardsmen to hold this opinion if the Alik'r had a reputation for causing trouble. Which leads me to believe they are no more than a mercenary company. I think that if they were renowned frontline warriors, then they would be held with far more respect and carry a better reputation. Just a few of my thoughts on the subject. Disclaimer: This post is mostly made up of assumptions.
  15. When exactly is it mentioned that the Alik'r are top tier frontline soldiers? I don't remember that ever being mentioned during the one quest they are involved in.
