  1. 1500 hours, multiple playthroughs, but I always get bogged down and sidetracked by the big quest lines to "get them out the way" and stop the nagging, but I'm always burnt out by the end and never explore like I wanted to or try Mod Quests. Can console commands do it, or any mods that address it?

Quests I'd like completed from the off:

Main Quest - think a none Dragon Born Mod would do this?

Civil War - Have it completely over, in favour of either side.

DawnGuard - Completed but still get the Dragon shout?

Dragonborn - I'd like the main QL completed.

I can see that people might re-occupy an area, but I don't buy them just haphazardy scattering value items throughout it.

If that didn't happened, you will run out of ammo, caps, junk and stuff.

Yes, yes I would. That's what I want, a more survival based "realistic" wasteland.

Additionally, there's the problem that When a cell resets, it resets nearly everything, take for example the satellite dish location near sanctuary, if you visit there after 2 weeks, and go to the Intel room, your character states -hmm need a terminal to open this"- then proceeds to open it with the intel key you looted last time you were here... ofc you can then explore deeper, and find a second intel key.. Dumb.

  3. I went back to concord and was suprised to find a very kind, insanely generous and rich individual had completely restocked EVERY container in the place with valuable weapons, chems, ammo, treats etc.

No-way in hell this would happen in a desperate survival wasteland. Is it possible/anyone willing to make it show a cells containers never/or very long respawn? I can see that people might re-occupy an area, but I don't buy them just haphazardly scattering value items throughout it.

This wasn't a random selection of the total nexus members. It was a free for all for everyone who has the time to log on an particular (great) entertainment website near daily.

I'm not surprised the gender and age stats are so skewed. I'm not surprised that the young and male have more uninterrupted free time to constantly check the nexus for what's new and thus answer brief 2.5 day surveys.

I'm sure there's some great feedback, but please, no one take those gender and age stats as accurate.

    Incredibly salient point.

Ofc, the fact the young are more free to 'game' the short survey, implicitly means they're also more free to visit the site in truth.

Additionaly, i did it after being linked from Reddit.
  5. Hmmm

    >Sets ENB's anisotropic filtering from 0 to 16, nothing.

    >Sets Skyrim.ini anisotropic filtering from 0 to 16, nothing.

    >Sets Nvidea Control Panel anisotropic filtering from 0 to 16... SUCCESS!

Fricking Love you man! Thank you!

Only recently switched to Nvidia after ATi, still got no idea how best to manage it's settings in relation to Skyrim.

That floor transitions WAY too early for my tastes.

Building a new game after not playing for a year and it NEVER looked that bad before.

I've never had that awful effect on any previous install.

I've downloaded some ini's, fiddled with my prefs but nothings worked so far.

Ive d/l'd some Enhanced distant terrain mods, and now on a mountain, the view 2 miles away looks better than my floor 10 foot away.

I tried changing ugrids to load up to 7 but didn't help.

  7. FIXED!

    Follow those instructions explicitly.

    ------------------------------------------

Messed in the CK just fine for some mods.

Downloaded a mod(carpets match drapes), that has many dependencies, Skyrim, +DLC and their unoffiical patches.

Trying to load it in the CK, and I get an error "TES Shared\misc\BGSLocalizedStrinn.cpp" abort, retry, ignore, and no matter what I choose after my selection, the CK just does ... nothing.

It doesn't error, it doesn't freeze, I can select all the file menu options, but clicking them does nothing, can't open or save files, there's no spinny ring indicating its loading - left fit for 5 minutes once and nothing loaded, it just does... nothing.

    Any suggestions please?

  8. Basically a data folder looks like this (simplified.

    Data

    ---Armours

    -----------Elven

    -----------------Elven Head

    -----------------Elven Body

    -----------------Elven Hands

    -----------------Elven Feet

    -----------Glass

    -----------------Glass Head

    -----------------Glass Body

    -----------------Glass Hands

    -----------------Glass Feet

Now Say your mod wanted to add files called Elven Legs, Elven Head, Elven Body into data/armours/elven and Glass Feet into data/armours/glass.

Elven Legs goes into the folder, no conflicts.

But when it puts the Elven Head in there, there's already a file with that name, thats when u get your dialogue box pop up.

No, - The file Elven Head does NOT get put in, no change to the file, left with original. Install moves onto next file.

No to all, Elven Head does NOT get put in, and ANY FURTHER CONFLICTS automatically gets answered 'no'. So mod is denied on conflicts, will only install standalone files that don't replace anything, Ie Elven legs goes in, but Elven body and Glass feet get denied.

No to Folder, UNCERTAIN ON THIS, but it denies changes to that Folder, in this case elven. So you wouldn't get asked about elven body after denying elven head. However when it was working in the glass folder, and sees glass feet conflicts, its a new folder so dialogue box will pop up and ask again.

No to Mod. UNCERTAIN ON THIS, Assume it just cancels the mod install.

Yes, The file Elven Head DOES get put in, overwrites originial file, mod is in effect. Install moves onto next file.

Yes to Folder, The file Elven Head DOES get put in, as does elven body without asking. But the dialogue box will pop up when working in the glass folder.

Yes to Mod, UNCERTAIN ON THIS, Assume it just mod installs the mod no morequestions.

Yes to All. Says yes to every request the mod makes, overwriting every file with no more dialogue pop ups.

Best I can do, hope it helps.

Edit: So basically which ever mod u install last takes precedence.

If you're new to modding, I recommend Mod Organizer, as opposed to NMM, it's a little more work. But safer and better for mods.

With MO, nothing gets overwritten. Simply loaded into a virtual space, wheere u choose which mod get priority, and can freely switch back and forth.

  9. Noob, here but looking into leveled lists(Items/Equipment).

Actors spawn either male or female. Both could have the same outfit, containing numerous leveled item containers.

If I took each of those containers, and duplicated them, and proceeded to set all female leveled actors to these duplicates...

I could populate the duplicates with armours purely for women, right?

  10. fShadowBiasScale works like a charm

Thanks for posting this fix to remove shadows from player character in Skyrim.

I set mine to 1.5 and works brilliantly, 2.0 made my own shadow disappear, so everyone fiddle around with this way to stop shadows on body in Skyrim.

    Thanks for posting.

My weird phrasing hopefully so more google hits catch this :P
