Come on admit it Two-handed vs one-handed is a real technique differences then the difference between a dagger and a sword or an axe and a sword. Just like the simplifications between Small guns and Big guns with Fallout NV(now just Guns.) And while i agree that the perk system isnt much different then the experience system in the kill 100 rats and gain lockpick skill you rarely ever gain a whole level using only 1 skill and if you are then your probably trying to build up that skill to get a perk most of the time. Plus you really couldnt have that endgame diversity without it. Of course you could gain perks for specific trees but the trees would have to be really big and complicated for that to truly work out. Also I prefer standing stones as they add to the dynamic effect of the class system plus you arent stuck with a birthsign the whole game if you made a bad choice. IT also allows much easier testing of which sign works best in what playstyle. I do wish we got my stone choices too... I really truly think Athletics types skills were a terrible idea personally. Its a sort of a "All characters will use this skill no matter what" issue.

Whiterun and the Dragonborn discovery part were meant to be done at the beginning of the game, just because you circumnavigate the main quest does not make the actions of the people in cities afterwards are canon or follow lore. The Grey Quarter and the Argonian assemblage are signs of STORMCLOAK racism not overall Nordic racism. Also the Dunmer in Windhelm are lazy freeloaders. Riften shows that both Dunmer and Argonians are allowed to peacefully intigrate into cities with little to no racism. The Khajiit caravans are barred because the Khajiit's are, rightly so, considered to be drug sellers and thieves, and if you look through their caravan items you will see moon sugar, which is illegal. Keeping out drug smugglers isn't racism, it is following Imperial law. The Dunmer are not freeloaders. You my friend sound racist. They have jobs and are completely ignored by the Jarl. Hell one of the Dunmer runs a shipping operation on the docks. Alchemist sell moon sugar too. And half the cities arent even under Imperial law.

It would really help me help you if I had ever actually played that game... However Id say that the monster slaying quests are more prevalent in Skyrim especially with the Companions(faction) questline and the mainquest itself. Since, you know...Dragons and what not. Id definitely go for the Companions questline especially with Aela's Radiant quests.

I'd take an Imperial start if it let me get my hands on that Imperial Captain. You and Hadvar run into her during the escape, and she starts shouting at him for allowing this criminal free, that I should be dead, blah blah blah while Hadvar starts arguing furiously with her. If you leave it he manages to shout her into letting you come along, but she promises she'll deal with you afterwards. I want a Renegate Interrupt option where I just murder her during the argument. Hadvar looks at you for a moment and says, "It's a real shame the Stormcloaks got the Captain before we arrived. Lets get out of here." ^Want. >:} And this thread seems to have really gone off topic. :|

Contrary to popular believe race scale doesnt actually do anything. Your actual scale is 1.00 regardless of your visual scale unless you mess with console commands. Also Orcs are taller. Race almost doesnt matter in Skyrim. I have an Argonian Pure Warrior that works perfectly well even though they have no skill bonuses in Warrior. For the most part just go with what looks better or goes with your RP better. Id also recommend sneaky character and Id also recommend not putting too much into 1 handed skill in terms of perks same with smithing more or less. As for the pros and cons: Sneak: Pros:Gonna make a whole lot o money, gonna get a whole lotta 1 shot satisfying kills, a bunch of other things you can probably think of like being able to stay out of fights, Can hunt deer better. Cons:Cant really do a straight up fight, a lot of difficulty with dragons and dragon priests, gonna get really annoying to repetitively shoot someone with an arrow then run back then shoot again before they heal moments. As for Mage style ive never really played that kind character for very long. Just be careful not to throw your perks everywhere.

Here is what happened when i first played Skyrim. The game set the graphics setting to medium and from my experience games like to underestimate the power of my system so i set it to the highest settings. I could not fight the game was so laggy so i decided to turn down the settings back to medium and the game run smoothly and you know what i noticed? Everything looked exactly the same no matter the setting. The only difference was how well the game ran and the fade distance which if i changed myself had no effect on performance. Bethesda is a terrible terrible game company when you actually start comparing them to companies like IO interactive or id. They are just plan lazy and I for one am boycotting them from now on. I love Fallout and the TES series is growing on me but like i said in another thread if Beth continues with this laziness those franchises might as well die.

This isnt Cyrodiil this is Skyrim. They are many many many signs of extreme racism(the grey quarter, the argonian assemblage, the khajiit caravaners not be allowed into the city.) The thing thats lacking is the effect it has on your character(almost nothing) They dropped the ball.

Click on the power then press Z. Also your not a nord your a Redguard and if you are a Nord you dont have adrenaline rush which could also answer your question. P.S. Nord's power battle shout is used the same way.

No. This is my first TES game and I fell into it pretty easily. In fact I "clicked" with this game while I was in riverwood before I even went to whiterun because I explored. You need to explore to enjoy the game thats the key. Id did however take me awhile to figure out the classless system through a lot of trial and error though...Finally got a good character.

So for either roleplaying, gameplay benefits, or something else entirely which Aedra or Daerda does your character worship? I wont include a poll because there are too many options.

Well this one is kind of s spoiler and Im not really sure what was going on but: After getting put on the investigation of a murder i was running through the town and after i left the guard started to accuse me of being the murderer asking if i knew anything about this "incident"...i think it was because Im argonian :/
