1. Thank you for your response. I already troubleshooted this for several hours before I started the new save. I also made a Bashed Patch in order to get some stability. I also made a clean install and downloaded the master files again and properly cleaned them again (Dawnguard 2 times and removed the test chamber) I also looked for incompabilites between the mods and made a patch between Cutting Room Floor and Book Covers of Skyrim. Which fixed some incompabilities in the form of missing flags for books. I noticed that (It could be false) the game is more likely to crash when Mozilla Firefox is open. The CTD's happen mostly during the loading screen when changing cells. (From Open World to Dungeon or Cave or so) I should also say that I have 16GB of RAM. Maybe Skyrim SE is not good in handling big RAM addresses? EDIT: I now played for another 8 hours (Dawnguard DLC) without a crash. Maybe it is a rare case where it does the CTD EDIT2: I got a CTD when entering the Fort from Harkon right before the "battle" and it crashed. I closed Mozilla Firefox and started the game again and I am now playing since 5 hours. That's an interesting behaviour.
2. That's really strange. I played for about 22 hours and the first CTD appeared after around 18 hours. Now I get CTD's very frequently. That's so frustrating! It happened some time after I got the Ebony Blade! Could it be that the Blade is causing these issues? I also checked the save with Fallrim Tools and got nothing there. It was a clean save never installed or removed a mod with it.
3. I really don't know where the problem is Everytime I play the game modded around level 30 the savegame breaks. Edit: I started a new save and get crashes there also. I also removed some mods like SkyBirds in order to gain more stability. I'll now playtest the game with my current mods.
4. Now after I noticed that the problem still persists with the retransformation in human form I hoped I could solve this by manually sorting the plugins: ( It took me hours D: ) Maybe the Savegame is the problem now? Or should I remove Moonlight Tales even tho I don't want to abdicate it. Sadly the author does not response anymore.. Or could it be that I have too many scripts for skyrim to handle? Because I could not determine which mod is causing this. The game was acting weird: I had 50% of the script mods deactivated and I could retransform without any problem. Then I reactivated 2 mods and repeated the same ingame with the same savegame until it had a CTD. So at this point you would say: Its one of the two BUT I only had a CTD every second "run" and could not determine which mod it is. It seems to be script load depending. Skyrim often uses over 6GB of RAM. When you just want to play with your precious mods and the game decides to CTD.
5. I have done the migration to Mod Organizer recently. If you install the same mods you don't have issues. This manager is pretty straight forward. It behaves smooth and you can dis-/enable mods without a problem with one mouse click. In the case you remove a mod permanently which includes scripts. I often tried the Fallrim Tools but I dont acutally know if these really work.
6. Thank you for your kind answer  I tried to disable several mods and it seems to be the Skyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esm which caused this. This conflicted with several other mods as it seems. There was nothing mentioned in the post section from both mods. Moonlight Tales had no update since 2016 but it worked for me before. I also viewed all the conflicts with SSEEdit. Of course there were several mods conflicting eachother but it does not seem to be game breaking. I removed it and went back to the save where the game should crash during "full moon" transformation and I had no CTD. If I would still have problems I would rearrange the plugin loading list. I also removed notice board.esp because I don't really need it and theres no support anymore. I also removed the RWT LOD Fix because it is now included in Realistic Waters Two.
7. I also had this problem with Nexus Mod Manager even tho I installed he textures right. Momentarily I use Mod Organizer an I am quite happy with it. Also please use

for logs and so on. Do you have Oldrim? Not the Special Edition? If it is the case please use this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71214/ instead of the splitted ones. I hope this is kinda helpful.
8. Sry that I "revive" this thread. Currently at level 23 (I have solved the 3 hour crash by looking for several possible fixes -> Load order adjustments and removing of mods) I have the following problem with Moonlight Tales, that the warning sound for the transformation is slow and not consistent then the text is visible in the top left corner but only some seconds later the transformation happens. Some seconds after that I have a CTD regardless of transforming back to human form or not. Could this be a problem with the animation system? I have not changed much. I only installed a texture mod and Engine Fixes Is it normal that LOOT uses the wrong order for ELFX - NoBreezehome.esp, Eli_Breezehome.esp? I manually corrected it so I don't have floating candles
9. I again thank you for your answers. Yes, in modding especially in Skyrim you have a learning curve. I played the game for 3 hours and then I had a CTD. Maybe the Memory was full. Don't know what could cause this except script bugs or so. But I feel good with this result. It is acceptable that the game crashes after 3 hours. I pretty think that this is nearly normal with 150+ Mods It is still better than before :D I also noticed during my "investigation" that the Mod No Snow under the roof has some dirty edits. Can I clean it? Here's the papyrus crash log I am right that SkyBirds caused this CTD?
10. After I switched to the MO2 I decided to manually check the plugins and their dependencies etc. I also have not installed some patches for a few mods. For example the Relationship Dialogue Overhaul had no patches installed for Cutting Room Floor and USSEP. And as far as I tested it I have to say that it works. No CTD at High Hrothgar anymore.
11. I'll switch to MO2. NMM is frustrating. Of course it will not fix my issues but it will be a better tool in order to fix these problems. The problem with installing mods is. You can play for several hours and then the game shows you that you f*#@ed something up. I'll do what you've said. And I will clean this plugins again. (Yes I followed these guides) Thank you.
12. Have not seen you response. Yes, the masterfiles..
13. Okay, the problem still persists. Got a CTD at High Hrothgar when I have to follow the one person outside. Here's a screenshot from the FallrimTools: (This savegame was created right before the CTD happened) Really.. I don't know what this means. I think, beacuse there are not many errors my savegame is still good.. I really don't want to start a new game over and over again. (This is the 8th time | played till level 10 or so) I just want to play the DLC's with some Immersive Mods. And I really want to avoid reinstalling all the mods with NMM. It's a hassle. I have done this so often -.- I also tried swiitching to Vortex but importing the Mods from NMM did not work . . . Should I maybe switch to Mod Organiser 2?
14. Thank you for your answer :) I read through many threads where this also happened and it seems to be that the deletion of Dirty Edits caused this! That's really strange. But I can now walk further and I can also open the barrel without a CTD.
15. Okay, it still happens. I opened A Barrel. I don't know if this could be related to the place where I am in the game. (Cutting Room Floors) It is the Alchemist Shack near Ivarstead. (When you go from Helgen to Ivarstead)
16. Okay of course the problem still persists.. Got a crash all seems to be right in the Skyrim Monitor. It happens mostly during Loading Screens.. EDIT: Tried something else. Seems like it was a Setting from SKEE64 (Plugin) ; Enables Body Randomization based on guided files bEnableBodyGen=0 ; Default[1] Maybe this solved it
17. So tried the software. Nothing conspicuous as it seems. Screenshot: I removed the SKEE Plugins and the extracted RaceMenu File and I also deinstalled SSE Engine Fixes and it seems to run fine now.. I will play some time and see if it works now.
18. I thank you for your fast response. I forgot to write it. Of course not all Less Dragons Plugins are activated only the 50's ones. I started a fresh save game that's the odd thing. I'll check that with the progam you mentioned. The biggest Savegame is 4MB big.
19. Hello, This is not my first attempt in installing the mods which are needed. All I want is a Immersive experience. Several HD Textures and Repoly Mods have been installed. (Texture Size Mostly 1K / some 2K) Installed are over 150 Mods. My PC Specs are as followed: Intel Xeon E3-1230v3 @ 3.3GHz => same as i7-4770 16GB RAM And as GPU a old GTX 770 with 2 GB of Video Memory I already tried several things in the last couple of play attemps to solve this problem. I also get some errors regarding XPMSE according to the Papyrus Logs. And here's my Plugin List ~ All are activated except Less Dragons I also cleaned Dirty Edits with SSEEdit. And the Plugin Order was sorted with LOOT. I hope that someone can help me.
20. I can give you one important advice: Never stick to a specific brand. Always try to get the best price-performance ratio. At the current time you could also get a Ryzen Processor instead of an Intel processor especially when you install DDR4 RAM. It all obviously depends on your budget. Back then I you could get a Xeon E3-1230v3 which is as good as the i7-4770 for less money than the i7-4770. My budget back then in 2013 was not higher than 900 Euros and I didn't cared much about specific brands. Firstly I had an Radeon Card from AMD (R9 280) but the Factory OIverclock was too high and I had artefacts. I gave it back two times (two times the same issue) and bought a GTX770 for "cheap". The card has it's best years behind technically especially given that the fans broke and I had to install new 120mm fans. At the current time I would not buy a graphics card because of the high prices due mining cryptocurrencies. I hope that this response is somewhat useful.
