Thanks. I didn't see that when I downloaded the first time.

Version is 0.15.9. Install Path is "D:\Documents\Vortex\Skyrim Special Edition\Mods" and Download Path is "D:\Documents\Vortex\Skyrim Special Edition\Downloads" right now. I used custom installer because I can't install Vortex to my C drive for storage reasons. I also did the "Restart and Install" now it says 0.16.5 but when I exit Vortex then launch again 0.15.9 again.

Everytime I open Vortex it says "Update Available" and when I close Vortex it just installs the "update". I can click "restart and install" but the next time I open Vortex, it'll say "Update Available" again. Also almost all of my mods appeared in Downloads tab after the last update. Last update REALLY broke my Vortex.

I hope I win this one.

The issue has been solved, I forgot to inform here. The reason was the "None" folders in the mod being empty. Because "None" folders are empty, Vortex was trying to rename them. I put an empty text file in those files then it installed the mod perfectly. Thank to the reddit user Rattledagger for the solution. I tried changing permissions of Vortex folder (the one in documents) using "Advanced Security Settings" to give myself full control, then tried to make all the files in Vortex (documents) not read-only. Still gives the same error. Any help? :sad:

Found the issue. It was "Survival Mode + Wet and Cold" combo.

Used LOOT for the load order. Tried looking at MSI Afterburner to see if everything is ok and everything was ok. Installed "SSE Engine Fixes" mod and enabled Memory Manager but still no luck. Tried uninstalling "Wearable Lanterns" and cleaning the scripts because I heard that it causes crashes. Freezes occur very randomly, I couldn't find a thing that causes it. Sometimes it happens after 2-3 hours gaming, sometimes after 10-20 seconds. On very rare occasions game CTD's but it's very very rare. Mostly it just freezes.
