Nukamage's Pimpboy mod (for xbox) on Bethesda has a line on the description page: "after a time the gold turns to chrome/silver and I can't fix it." At the time, I was furious at him for releasing a buggy mod. Then I returned to my PC and found the same mod. With same bug. Turns out this was not Nukamage's fault. The following mods' gold items turn into chrome after a certain period of time, or immediately after fast traveling/saving/loading: Pornstar Fashion Immersive Pipboy Themes Pipboy Skin Pack (this one's shiny chrome patch doesn't do any good either) What would you guys say is happening? Is it a problem with screen space reflections? Cubemaps? I removed enhanced blood textures, thinking it was somehow overriding cubemaps (have no knowledge but the mod has cubemaps, so..), for 10 minutes the gold surfaces stayed. Then back to chrome. Can anybody help?

I'm still looking for a solution to this. Anything with shiny gold surface goes silver chrome after a certain time. The first mod with cubemaps that comes to my mind is enhanced blood textures. removing it didn't do any good. Did you find a solution?
