  1. WHOOP THERE IT IS http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=41977
  2. I think if you want this to actually go through- post it in the mod suggestion forum :D EDIT: Thank you for moving to the proper forum, I see people are already flooding the topic :D
  3. Google FNVEdit then somewhere on Nexus there is a guide for FNVEdit. Lemme get you some links. EDIT: FNVEdit Manual
  4. Steering away from Shadows and FOV as well as vsync, HDR, and bloom will help a lot, your water should be set to everything low except for reflections- those can be on. Try using a medium texture setting, it is a very good balance for the game. Dont take your card too far though- what happened was your card wasnt able to render everything properly at an efficient enough speed- so that caused crashes. If you need any further help feel free to PM me or catch me in chat- Im generally available at all times. Also be sure to give Maboru some kudos- he is a very helpful poster :)
  5. Tinker with the light settings, turn off HDR and BLOOM if they are on. Reduce exterior shadows and for the love of god- don't use vsync.
  6. Yes there is a mod you are missing- PM the author and ask him what races and face models he used in the screenshots.
  7. Try toggling grass with the console command TG and see if that helps with the scorpion. Then if that works I can tell you what you need to do.
  8. Try typing EnablePlayerControl or EnablePlayerControls in the console and see if that gets you anywhere on the save that doesn't allow you to use your controls.
  9. If you don't wanna uninstall you could always try a bashed patch.
  10. Actually- I never really thought about it but it might be that your GPU isn't good enough for the game- check it's requirements and see if that card is listed- if it is try low settings- then work your way up gradually until you find a good balance of stability-performance-and quality. Thanks for jumping in maboru!!
  11. Just made it- its behind the Goodsprings Saloon- not sure if it will work too great though. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=43270
  12. Hmm- Alright, I will think about it some more over night and give you some feedback. Feel free to report other problems on your PC if you have been having them- might help pin-down the issue.
  13. My current Power Supply is about 500w + last time I checked. Next time I power down I will check the specs on that. As far as fans go I have two that run from the front- 1 on the back- The one I need fixed is on the side of my comp. The wires broke when I opened it up. So I think after those purchases I should be good to go. And In reply to the two-core comment I have added iNumHWThread= 2 in my fallout.ini This never seemed to help- is there another .ini I should tweak the same way? EDIT: Maboru needs more kudos :(
  14. When you Unistalled did you go back and delete the folder for FNV in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ ? Any additional content placed there would not be removed. Also make sure to delete your My Docs> My Games> Fallout New Vegas when you Uninstall- so you can prevent issues. After performing some tests of your own I will be eager to hear the results.
  15. For a good Char- Breton Battlemage. Conjuration, Destruction, Restoration, Blunt or Blade, Block, Heavy or Light Armor, Armorer. You could balance your stats well- Get Endurance to about 80- then try and max out Strength- Intel- And willpower.
  16. Do a Nord with Light Armor, HandtoHand, Block, Restoration, Detstruction, Sneak, Speechcraft, and Barter- It's practically fool-proof.
  17. When you unninstall it will keep your mods. Delete the Oblivion folder under Bethesda Softworks AND under My Docs> My Games AFTER you unninstall. Now install again. But dont install ANY DLC yet. Patch it to the newest patch before you get the DLC or it might NOT work. Hope this helps, best of luck. -Ian the Lewis of Kentucky
  18. It could be simply that you have too-many mods- the engine can only handle so many. I think the cap is around 200 for Oblivion- its about 100 for Fallout New Vegas. Personally- I reinstall saved my TES life at one time. I would reccommend it if many problems persist.
  19. I would reinstall the game in your case- seems like a texture issue. Make sure you delete the folder with your .ini's and gamesaves when you unninstall.
  20. Try retrieving them from the recycle bin. Works a charm for me most times.
  21. Try doing a BOSS run- if that doesnt work do a bashed patch.
