  1. If I sound like a total idiot, I'd like to apologize up front....Now on to my question.... I love the pics of the Furufuru armor and would like to install the mod, but I couldn't entirely (practically not at all) understand what the description was saying about it. There were mentions of AMY armor and a lot of other stuff....I'm not a modder....I wouldn't know where to begin to even try. So I'm sorry if I sound like a doofus. But to get that armor (the pretty white one with the hood pic), would installing just the Furufuru file get it for me or do I need to have other stuff to go with it? Exactly how does this mod work? The only other clothing I've installed in my DAO is queen's attire (it's the only pretty clothing in the entire game imo...the rest is just...yuck) and it magically appears in my inventory when I reload the game. Does this work in the same way or do you buy it or have to fight something for it or what?
  2. I didn't read the books and really have no intentions of reading them for the simple reason I prefer to make up my own stories about details left out of the game. :P That said, I don't spare Loghain because of the facts presented in the game. As portrayed in the game, he was a power hungry traitor guilty of murdering not only the king and all but two of the Grey Wardens, but slews of others as well. *IF* he was so certain that there wasn't a snowball's chance in hello to end the blight there in Ostagar, then instead of setting the king, the king's army, knights from other places, and all of Fereldens' Grey Wardens up for slaughter, he should have flat out refused to have anything to do with it to begin with. Perhaps his flat out refusal would have given Cailin pause to rethink his actions. Instead, Loghain connived with the likes of Arl Howe in secret and blood mages in secret. He planned on quitting the field in the very beginning. He had Arl Eammon poisoned to ensure he didn't interfere with his plans. He allowed Arl Howe to take over Highever, torture nobles, and then sold elves into slavery. He also allowed Arl Howe to imprison his own daughter. The dude was seriously messed up and not only deserved his fate, he asked for it imo.
  3. I wondered if his dad was the same bann loren they were talking about in King's Confidant.....for the couslands to be thought of so highly, they do associate with some more than questionable people....
  4. I don't get why Ser Gilmore is forbidden if Dairren isn't. They are both in service to the Couslands and they are both sons of "minor lords". I guess forbidden just makes him more desirable. Personally, after hooking my Cousland gal up with a couple of times with Ser Gilmore, I found him rather annoying and would actually prefer Dairren. It ticks me off when Roland tells me I suck at fighting and I stink. And his "there's a reason why I'm the best knight of Highever" when in a fight makes me want to gag. To quote Duncan, I "was always his first choice". He wouldn't settle for second best. :P
  5. Is there a mod that will allow you to reset your achievements? The only thing I've found telling me how to do that says to delete the profile file in the mydocuments/bioware folder. But when I do that, it won't allow me to play my purchased d/l'ed addins without getting online to verify they are registered to me. So, I wind up having to restore the file. We're in the process of moving and it's going to be a little while before I can get that computer online again (ugh). But I really would love to start out with a clean slate so to speak since adding a few mods. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.
