I've played Morrowind and Oblivion (with mods) and am now starting with Fallout 3 GOTY from Steam which I bought during the Summer Sale. I've installed some mods and played fine till the fight right after the conversation before the vaultdoor. I used the merged patch, some compatibility things but somehow it didn't work out. I tried to fix it again but somehow I couldn't even get the merged patch right anymore... http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8302 might be the last addition I might make to the list but I don't really like the idea of those validate things, seems to bug a lot for people. I want to get it working and just stick to it to be save. :tongue: I deleted everything besides the saves and downloaded rar's and all. Reinstalled FO 3 GOTY aswell. - Can I still use the unofficial patch? Seeing as I am using Steam and some new patches might have come out in between that mod and now? - Can I use Weapon Mod Kits and MMM together? It seems there is no compatibility patch for those 2 but for a lot of other combinations there is. - FOSE Current stable version: v1.2 b2; Download: http://fose.silverlock.org/download/fose_v1_2_beta2.7z is the right one not? - Are there some things I have not or may not have done? I thought I had the right order, the right files, a good merged patch etc. I know this topic is a quickly piled mess of stuff but I'm about to go bed and wanted to post this before going sleepy and worky tomorrow. Anyone got any idea's, suggestions in the meantime?
