  1. Thanks for the reply. I should've probably been more precise. I do not use any CC content and never did. The crash happens in main menu (I can also try to load the game or start a new one - I have time for that since the CTD happens ~10-15 seconds after game start, but it does not matter if I do so - CTD is still there) I tried the version check patcher. Well in fact, I was running with it all along since that is needed due to 1.10.163 update behavior change. But just to be sure - I tried both with and without it. Same thing happens.I did not hit the esl limit for sure: how else was it working with the same mod list yesterday? Again, to be sure, I checked: nope, not even close to the limitNot sure what the "stacking" issue means. If that would be about a save file - yes, I do get the point. But the game crashes way before I even do any action (load game / start new game)Also not sure I get the point about orphaned scripts. If I did not change anything - what could make them to be orphaned? The way I was thinking CC content broke something for me is that they roll some news / updates to CC sometimes. But that's why I wasn't sure and asked - can it break anything for me if I never used anything from there, never logged in to there etc etc etc. Was trying to disable mods that are anyhow mentioned in the logs. Disabled 15 or so mods, no luck. At this point I guess it's probably something that log just does not show. An ultimate option maybe to try starting the game without any mods, but then it will never allow me to get what's wrong.
  2. Recently the game started crashing for no reason in main menu, without even trying to load a save. Luckily (or not?) the log is very short. I don't believe it is related to any of the mods really - because I did not change anything in my load order and it started to crash consistently with some things pointing to Creation Club (probably). I tried to disable mods which somehow appear in the log as there are only a few of them there but it changed nothing. I start the game with F4SE obviously and it is the older version game: 1.10.162 with F4SE 0.0.6.19 Any ideas on how to understand what causes the issue? Why is it just appeared out of nowhere when it was working perfectly fine just yesterday and I did not change even a single thing? (and I did not have CTD in a very long time - months or so?) Can any CreationClub update really break the game? EDIT: Woops, funny title. Whatever, it happens. UPDATE: Tried to update the game to 1.10.163 (+F4SE and all the mods that were necessary to update for it). No difference, still CTD in main menu after several seconds into the screen. Log is almost identical.
  3. Is anyone else experience massive problems after the last (.111 build) game update? Many different mods stopped to work independently - all of them are those which somehow rely on scripting or altering some quests. Is it universally known and if so, is there any fix? Or only rolling back will do (I know how to do it via steam console, but just asking in case there is some fix already)?
  4. Nwm, answered it myself. Got pretty lucky here, it looks like the installer ignores the file copy when the file is locked. In particularly, you can get the lock as is described here: https://superuser.com/questions/117902/find-out-which-process-is-locking-a-file-or-folder-in-windows In my case it was nexus mod manager. Solution: close anything which could use F4SE files. Then run installer. Should work.
  5. So I just can't get it to work. What I do is - after the update to Fallout4 1.10.82 I can't update the F4SE properly. Every time before I just went to their site and updated with the latest version and it worked. Now it does not while the download clearly stating that this F4SE is for Fallout4 1.10.82 (that is - my version). I tried both installer and archive - both with same results. What is interesting is that new f4se_loader does indeed have the "Product version" as 0.0.6.7 but "File version" as 0.0.6.6 which is the same as for f4se_loader that I had before. Since the match is done on a file version basis - I guess it's clear why it complains and doesn't launch. With the previous version of the game (1.10.75) and previous version of f4se_loader (both "Product version" and "File version" as 0.0.6.6) everything works and it loads. Before I just tried it several times, it didn't work so I rolled back my game version via steam console. Now though there are new mods which I'd like to try and they rely on the new version of either game or F4SE so I have to update but couldn't solve it so far. As I checked - nobody complains about similar issue and the 1.10.82 version of the game came out quite some time ago - so I believe I just do something wrong or I missed the well-known way to circumvent this problem. Any ideas? I get it that it may be better to address this to F4SE guys, but since no one else seems to have such issue - I hope it's something trivial that I miss.
  6. Are there any plans or may be existing mods already which enhance followers? There are plenty of followers mods by themselves, but I'm referring to the stuff like enhancing AI / making inventory manageable and so on.
