Personally, I don't pay for mods, or donate to them. Why? Because I effectively have no money, due to a ton of different issues IRL. That being said? I wish that I could donate. However, I won't be forced into paying money, because its something I really just don't have. I do believe more people should donate to mods they like, if they have the money to do so. I, myself, opposed the paid mods ideas, but I don't hate the modders who tried to join in with Steam's paid mods idea to make money. However, I think that people who are ranting and raving at people because they didn't get the paid mods ability they wanted. You know, I hate to say it, and life sucks. It sucks for me cause I got no money to donate even when I want to, and it sucks because what you wanted wasn't as popular as the general community wanted. But I say we just move on. If you're going to throw a fit cause of this, and rant and rave and threaten to leave, then bye, i'll miss your talent, but I won't miss you. However, if you're willing to pick yourself up, and make the best of the situation, I would be all in for something (Though I don't know what would do it) that better encourages people to pay for mods. And I will hold no ill feelings about you because you wanted paid mods. Whats done is done, can we not just let it go, and choose to get along together? Fighting like this over a conflict thats already ended does nothing further anger people, and cause fighting, which won't change anything at this point. Better to let go, forgive whoever you feel wronged you because they took the side of for paid mods or the side of against paid mods, and just return to being a solid community. People will probably rage at me for this comment, and I expect it, but I felt it needed to be said.
