  1. Game of the Year version, I did say I installed it, it's a disc, Local Disk C: Program Files (x86) Bethesda Softworks Fallout 3, I do but I'm not sure if I've updated correctly, how could I check? This is on PC. Sorry for not giving enough information.
  2. I haven't even gotten round to starting mods, felt it'd be better to have everything running first and then go for the mods.
  3. Basically the game is running fine except the DLC won't show up, I've installed it but on the main menu the downloads button isn't even clickable as if I have no DLC. Can anyone help me?
  4. Thanks for the help. I haven't been home in awhile so I'll try that tutorial as soon as possible. If anything goes wrong I'll let you know here.
  5. I did update Fallout 3 to version 1.7. Also I am using Fallout Mod Manager.
  6. Well I installed it on that directory and was working for a little bit, until I installed the mod Apocalypse Armory but now I've uninstalled it but Fallout doesn't work now. I'll post my Mod order in a moment.
  7. Well when I went through installation I did the custom directory so it didn't go too the Program files automatically. Well do you mind posting your directory and then I could reinstall Fallout in a similar directory.
  8. I bought it from the store GAME. My directory is C:\Users\Brandon\Fallout 3 I don't know if that's the right place for it but I heard that it may not work in Program files so I thought it'd be the safer option.
  9. I can run Fallout 3 perfectly fine without mods. However when I add mods the game no longer can run. I used this tutorial (Video link underneath) and when I add a mod it won't work. (I added Apocalypse Armory and Project Beauty using his method). So can someone help me so I can get mods working with the game? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMRu3oDmq3M Extra information: I do have ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. It also states that it may be a problem with bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 which may not work for my laptop which is an Acer. I also have Windows 7.
  10. Well I tried it and it said that everything is fine except for the game card but surely that can't stop me from playing.
  11. I just got Fallout 3 today and noticed that most mods required archive invalidation so I downloaded it and then Fallout wouldn't work so I uninstalled it (I believe) and Fallout still won't work.
  12. Right I have uninstalled it and even reinstalled it in a different place which didn't work and then I tried installing it into the program files and it still wouldn't play and I have no mods downloaded. I have the GOTY version (PC DVD) dunno if that helps.
  13. I've put it in too Fallout 3 but it still crashes. Also when I try to play it, it now says it isn't installed when I actually have installed it.
  14. I moved the files at first to my documents which then won't let me play at all so I moved it into the program files not the (x86) one yet it still crashes.
