  1. In response to post #106620633. #109510353 is also a reply to the same post. TheGauger is right about Vortex but installing mods manually will create problems for you later on unless you keep a detailed log of everything you add and/or edit. This is the current version of the mod manager that was initially developed for Morrowind, and has been updated by Polemos . https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45439
  2. What you've done is turn off your ENB. Whatever was causing instability in your game is still there. I recently had serious instability problems of my own. This guide helped me find and fix my problem, and keep my ENB: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74427/? Hopefully it will help you as well. Good luck!
  3. In response to post #37051480. #37051520, #37051585, #37051605, #37051705, #37051765, #37051780, #37051795, #37051800 are all replies on the same post. Same problem on about 80% of mod pages I've tried to view. Also, when I click on a mod in the Notifications drop down menu it just hangs and never opens. (However, click on the same mod under "New Recently" and the mod page opens, albeit with most tabs showing "E" Edit: And YES I am attempting to load pages from the https// version.
  4. Before we all get carried away, ask yourself three questions: 1. What sort of mod is the typical Steam addict likely to buy: A mod that make the game more challenging or more complex? I don't think so. 2. How many modders are willing to put up with "feedback" from the typical Steam poster? Because once said poster has plunked down his or her hard-earned allowance money they have the right to complain. And they will, loudly, whether their complaints are justified or not. 3. Is this driven by greed, or by desperation? Valve built Steam to sell games to PC users. They weathered the console tsunami. But they sure didn't anticipate the shift away from PCs to phones, tablets, watches, and whatever Apple thinks of next. Nor did they anticipate the impact that shift would have on pricing, and the race to the bottom that has followed. You can practically smell the fear when you visit Steam these days. As for Bethesda, well, they'll soon be circling the drain with everybody else who thought they could duplicate WoW's business model.
  5. Given what happened recently, your decision to scan all files is certainly the right one. However, the supplier you've chosen is clearly not up to the task. A simple 4mb texture file by Millenia has been stuck in scan for over 11 hours. The latest YUP update for over 12 hours. If all your various game sites are using the same virus scan supplier then you are turning an addition that everyone should support into a needlessly frustrating experience.
