  1. Does anyone happen to have a backup of the original Pipe Weapons Overhaul mod? (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7556)

I really liked the additional mods it added to pipe guns like the Axe stock and spiked hand grip, but since I last played the mod creator has deleted it and ported it into another mod, then deleted that one and now has a new mod with a lot of extra stuff that supposedly breaks the game and "requires a new game" that I don't want to mess with.

I had considered downloading the new mod and just deleting the files that don't pertain to the pipe weapon overhaul changes, but cannot discern what's what just from the file preview.

So, would anyone happen to have a backup of the old mod and be willing to share it? Would really appreciate it.

  2. A change to Weapon Vendor inventories to have them only stock Default versions of weapons (I.e. "Automatic Combat Rifle") and multiple copies of said default weapon, along with weapon mods separate from the actual weapon.

For example, a Weapon Vendor under this mod would stock the following:

    Weapons

    Combat Rifle (4)

    Automatic Combat Rifle (3)

    Hunting Rifle (3)

    Sniper Rifle (2)

    10mm Pistol (5)

    Pipe Pistol (4)

    44. Pistol (2)

    Automatic Assault Rifle (2)

    Fragmentation Grenade (5)

No overmodded weapons for minimal clutter.

  3. I've scoured the Nexus using every synonym for the word "shop" I can think of and have found nothing. All I'm looking for are mods that add new or change existing Workshop vendors for better settlement customization and immersion. like if I want a seafood restaurant, or a General Store that sells a little of everything instead of just junk. Am I looking in the wrong place, or are there not any mods like this?

EDIT: In the event that there are no mods available, what all would go into creating new shops with specific inventories?

i.e. things along these lines: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6547566-specialized-food-vendors/

Just duplicating the vanilla shops and changing lists of things they sell can't be too difficult right?

  4. Gonna low-key shill my abilities as a male voice actor here. If y'all wanna make a good sounding male Companion with custom dialogue, hit me up.

I've always wanted to voice a Sentry Bot, or Deathclaw, or Zetan companion, but I could do a human guy as well.

I usually stick with a companion until I want to go with another one.

That said, some things that'll make me re-consider real fast are things like AI errors, where you're under attack and they're just standing there aiming at nothing while you're getting punched to custard by a Legendary Protectron, or they throw a grenade at the enemy you're engaging in melee range. Of course these things are usually a "Thanks, Todd" with no solution.

Never really liked the affinity thing, for the previously stated reasons of inconvenient heart-to-hearts or awkward forced boning (Which is why a Robot or Deathclaw friend would be good, imho)

I can shoot out a few of my ideas for the previously mentioned companions, if y'all are interested.

  5. I totally agree. Searched & downloaded every vault 88 mod i could find, but non realy makes it bigger. (Just higher or just a little bit bigger) So i decided to dust off my modding skills and do it myself (it's been about 15 years since i last modded a game (and those where mostly RTS)). Been working on it for a few weeks already, but it's a truckload of work.

Totally redesigned the main cave, which is almost done, but still need to redo the entrance area (who doesn't dislike the wacky 2 way entrance?)

The cave is now about 13 stories high, about 1/3 bigger on the floor, even more higher up. Entrance is at level 6, instead of on the bottom. (so you can build down, as well as up) & added 2 more "tunnels" to new area('s ?) (Area does not exist, yet)

I chose to go for approx. 6 levels down & up since it will allow for building elevators up & down from the entrance level. (the Vault elevator mod only supports 6 levels) Just finnished the new cave ceiling yesterday and it allows to even go up 8 levels at the moment. (8 up from cave entrance, which is already at level 6)

I'm trying to make it look & feel the same as the original, just bigger. Therefor i did not create a big square box to build in but a cave like the original, but that also means its much more work.

I'm doing this just for my own amusement, but might post the mod on Nexus when finnished. On the current rate however, that's going to be weeks or months from now.

There's a lot more i could tell you about it, but this post is long enough already

That's awesome, man. Be sure to show us some progress whenever you're ready.

I always wished the vault cave went downwards from the entrance instead of up, so its more like a "dungeon" is that makes sense.

  6. Spice up your Settlements' culinary scene by building specialized food vendors that sell a specific "theme" of items.

The whole idea is I want to walk into my arduously constructed, nautical themed Restaurant, and expect to be able to order seafood.

Is that too much to ask?

  7. 50% of those mods I already have, namely most PAs, shotguns, CL grenade launcher, Wattz's.

The others I simply don't like them for a reason or another.

Especially CROSS' stuff and the CBBE mods.

And no flamer yet, making my requests still stand, as I didn't request for power armors or skimpy clothing for fap-fuel.

Also, being my free opinion and request I say (hence "antagonize" too) what I want.

Skimpy/sexy/downright porn invasion mainly, the reason why Skyrim nexus and FO4 nexus platforms are generally a "no-no" for most players.

You're aware that CBBE is not inherently porn, right? It just adds a better looking base and skin texture for all bodies and clothes so people look less potatoey.

Don't knock it till you've tried it. The vast majority of clothing mods, be they lewd or pure, run off of CBBE as the base mesh.

So if you're going to blindly refuse anything CBBE related, you're gonna have a hard time finding decent clothing/armor mods.

And I'm pretty sure the people that refuse to use the Nexus because porn mods simply exist on it are in a tiny minority of players.

  8.

    open the console with ~

    type "sexchange" hit enter

Not sure if that'll update everything but probably worth a shot.

Though if you've already made extensive changes to be a male character and it still gives you problems, I'd really just recommend starting a new game as a Male character and cheating/modding in all the stuff you want at the beginning.

I was thinking about re-doing my character as a male and just sexchange them through console. But would the dialogues be "correct" then you think?

    Thanks for replying.

Do you want them to be referred to as a male or female?

Start with whatever you want to be referred to as. Then add mods to change it whichever way you want.

I really don't know how the game references the gender tag and what all changes it, but if anything, the sexchange command would do it.

  9. open the console with ~

    type "sexchange" hit enter

Not sure if that'll update everything but probably worth a shot.

  10. You know there's a search function on the site, right?

You can find these things easily, instead of asking us to do it for you while antagonizing people that like something you don't.

    I like Power Armor

  11. This is a complex mod design, adding a whole new Village, a Cave and Dungeon, several new characters, and a new Perk for Swords and Greatswords.

Skygeirr Village is a small hamlet up in the mountains of the Reach, along the Cyrodiil border, just southeast of Arkngthamz. It is close to Bruma and Cloud Ruler Temple, stronghold of the Blades.

Due to its difficult to reach location, Skygeirr Village is a safe haven from the perils of the world. As such, its inhabitants don't take too kindly to visitors that might bring conflict with them, like the Dragonborn.

The Village can only be reached through the perilous Skygate Cavern, which is chock full of booby traps to dissuade visitors.

After making it through the cave, you will be greeted by the leader of Skygeirr Village a retired Blade, who will tell you to f*** off.

You can tell him that you're there to help, trade, just exploring, or tell him to go f*** himself.

Either way, he lets you stay with no fight, though you will have to earn the trust of the townspeople in order to utilize their services.

    The Town

Skygeirr Village is comprised of several small houses, with a blacksmith, apothecary, and general store. A local Wizard also sells a few spellbooks. Beautiful trees and vegetation fill the town. Most of the people are easygoing, but generally distrustful of outsiders. There are no guards, leaving the townspeople to defend themselves, and they are more than capable of doing so.

The Leader of the Village is an Ex-Blades member who retired from Cloud Ruler Temple and founded the village. A master Swordsman, he can grant the player a a perk that can negate all damage if a block is timed right while wielding a sword or Greatsword, as well as a perk to increase Sword/Greatsword swing speed.

Other exciting aspects are the full blacksmith suite, a small, cozy player home, access to a great number of various alchemy ingredients growing around the town, as well as a few skill trainers for archery and hand to hand. There is also a Fighting Circle where players would be able to partake in fist fights for money.

    Where?

    http://imgur.com/a/yJOl8

There is ample room for a small village up in the hills there.

I understand this is a pretty ambitious plan, and would require a whole team in order to get off of the ground, but I wouldn't be posting here if I didn't think it could be done.
