As I'm sure most can agree, I'm not a fan of the way you save multiple characters on a bunch of random saves. Has anyone seen a mod that would let me create profiles for each character?

building an assassin is very simple. 1. sneak everywhere. never walk 2. beeline the Assasin's blade perk. 3. avoid combat situations early on 4. don't bother with weapon perks for a good while 5. join the thieves guild AND the dark brotherhood asap. They each give a full suit of armor that helps a rogue in entirely different ways. expect to be carrying both sets around for the rest of the game, and never wearing anything else. 6. Enchant a dagger with Soul Trap. you'll get a lot of use out of it. What Race do you go for?

I find it impossible to decide such things. Assassin looks fun but I'm not sure on builds.

This post has slipped down a little. I've tried the standard Warrior and I'd like to use a bit of Magic with it too. What would you suggest? If you use any with your Warrior what is it?

What difficulty do you play on? I've read a lot of forums posts and topics about this game and a lot of people seem to think that Adept/Medium setting is simply too easy. What do you think?

Was considering making another Warrior. 2H + Magic. A death Knight type. Two-Handed / Heavy Armor / Smithing / Conjuring / Smithing / Enchanting What do you think?

I thought I would post my Warrior build so far. I'm level 14 at the moment with a full set of Dwarven armor. What do you think? Where would you go from here? Hello, I'm trying to decide how I want to play but it's becoming difficult so i figured I would ask here and hopefully get a decent discussion going. I know I want to play a Warrior but I'm not sure how I want to play it. How do you play yours and what perks have you gone for? - Agent

Gosh by just reading that it seems like a horrible system but I will give it a go. It looks like I might need to start fresh too. (*) Can you give me a build example to follow? (*) When I level do I just want to concentrate on three attributes for example strength, endurance and willpower?

Good evening, I've just downloaded the game from Steam and I've installed a few mods and I can't help but be struck with how overwhelming it all is. So I have a few questions for those Oblivion veterans to answer. (*) I've just installed the Rens mod for the Mystic Elf race and it looks fantastic. What other mods would you recommend to improve the appearance of the characters? (*) I've also installed the HGEC Body mod. Are there any other mods you would recommend to improve that further? maybe some texture mods? (*) What world mods would you recommend to improve the textures? (*) With the game itself I'd like to create a Mystic Elf but what classes are most suited to that race? does it even matter? (*) I would like my first character to be either a warrior or archer type, could you recommend any builds for me? and what is the most effective? Any other tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.
