I just started the modeling tutorials on the cs site, however they say I must use a Civ4 plugin with 3DS max 7 or 8 I just go tthe trial for the latest 2013 version, is it still going to work for me?

Wondering if there are any mods to remove blood from the game completely. I looked on the site, but had no luck.

never mind, I figured it out on my own! =)

Vanilla leather armor is stored in the following path: Data\Meshes\Armor\Thief\ (yes, Thier, not Leather) Within that directory there are two folders, "F" and "M", their purpose should be obvious. Assuming you already have a stock replacer, navigate to that folder and take a look inside, you will see several files: Boots.nif Cuirass.nif Gloves.nif Greaves.nif Helmet.egm Helmet.nif You need to replace these files with the the appropriate ones from the mod armor. At the very least, the mod armor needs to be divided into Boots/Cuirass/Gloves/Greaves. Copy the mod files into the folder, then change their names as necessary. ah. I thought thats how it worked....never hurts to be %100 sure though before I go screw with my files. Thanks a lot

So Suppose I want to replace the way the leather armor looks. I found a mod with some cool armor, but it is a standalone, just placed in the game as its own armor set how would I take that armor and make it so that my leather armor looks like that?

She wants the gam,e to be less violent.... to put it in her words, she wants the enemies to disapear in a sparkly butterfly kind of way. maybe replace the death sounds with something more....soothing? if you can figure this one out, kudos

I can't read through 75 pages....so I am just going to post this has someone not pointed out that perhaps some people prefer to roleplay as characters? I am an author of sorts. I create characters and write about them male and female. If I want to experience a game from different viewpoints ( especiallly in one as immersive as skyrim ) I play different roles, in different places with different goals and yes, with different genders. I write a story about my character when I play. I enjoy playing my Wood elf warrior just as much as my Female Nord Barbarian. It has nothing to do with how they look ( though the women are easier on the eyes....far more than the old disease ridden oblivion ones. ) =)

I beleive his mods change your characters figure based on the clothing. For example, his imperial armor seems to be at something like an h cup while his iron armor is more towards a B cup

It might not be for a while, and I am not sure if I will be doing this for skyrim or oblivion yet, but I will be needing voice actors for some companion mods. I'll PM you when I get around to it

been looking for a mod like this for a while now You see races like xenius and such that look so amazing. Is there one for the Vanilla races?] I am looking to play a Nord Female, but this is keeping me from starting. I just want the vanilla races to be beautiful...is it so much to ask?

Just wondering. mw and my wife both mod, and both play oblivion/morrowind/skyrim is it possible to make two different oblivon downloads? one for each of us. hers would be in program files, mine on my desktop we don't want to have the same mods. any ideas?

is there any way I can give my npcs clothes? I cant put it in their inventory while pickpocketing, Midas has a item sharing spell, but for whatever reason, it wont work on anyone but midas. I tried placing them in the construction set, but it crashes way to often. is there a mod that will let me place items in their inventory?

Isee a lot of mods that makethe NPCs in the game not look like messed up pieces of playdough. like colorwheels npc replacer. but I remember downloading one long ago that I didn't like for some reason, I was wondering what the best one would be? I'm just looking to have the original oblivion npcs look prettier or more original, sexier, anything.

ok wondering about this now, and yes i searched it first. I have hairs like in rens beauty pack, but when I go into the editor and try to put them on a vanilla npc, they dont apearr as an option. just the original hairs. how do i set it to were the hairs can be used by imperials for expample?

How do you do this without killing the game? when I try it the game just explodes whenever i see that character. wondering why I am not able to do it, and how to do it. thnks and please!

I want to change the basic npcs in the game. just visually. so I loaded up my esm for oblivion and OOO ( gotta have that!) and my esps for xenus races, the clothing and armour mods, and rens beauty pack. I picked a random imperial in the imperial city and changed her into a new race, gave her new armor. but whenever I go to the area she is in, the game crashes! I know it must be something simple, but Im a noob. NOOB Y_Y please help?

some random npc from the CM mod casted it on me, now its on forever. anyone know how to make it go away? and yes >.> i treid the forum search thingy

hmmm sounds a lot like what I did, but I always load the race esp as well. ancient towers is a esp. I guess i should just load those 2 ill try it

So I downloaded the ancient towers mod. Suppose I wanted a Corean race character placed in there, how do I go about doing that? all the things Ive tried mess everything up

I cant figure out how to change Viljas appearance, I wanted the chocolate elf version. all I see in the file is a esp. no meshes or textures or anything. I have all the required mods, i just dont know were to put what. is the esp the only file I need?

Im new to Gimp. I dont know how to use the alphas to make the skin glossy. I loooked at the instructions but im just confused. please post some way to get this to work x.x
