  1. Ur welcome. ^ ^ It will only help with loading the save though. If you get infinite loading when changing cells, like going into a cave, or some house, this isn't gonna fix it.
  2. For infinite loading try this. I never had the issue again after using it.

  4. I got my hands on UPK files again and what a surprise, Zhang class part is different so this mod could use some update. Path remained the same, just HEX values are different. 0F 35 E0 03 00 00 E4 03 00 00 00 01 00 8A 02 00 00 24 02Change "02" at the end of the line above to whatever class you wish. I did not test it, but my game isn't crashing right from the start as it did with previous patch, so I guess it might work.
  5. I tried manual edit with HxD too, changes could be seen in UE Explorer just fine, but game still crashed. Guess I'll have to take a closer look into it, there has to be something wrong, some little mistake of mine perhaps. :)
  6. For some reason, Zhang class mod doesn't work for me anymore. It crashes my game before it even gets to startup movies.
  7. Yey, I'm glad someone finds it usefull, now I just hope it really works as I wasn't able to test it ingame. :)
  8. I guess it's in XComStrategyGame.upk under XGFundingCouncil class, BuildMission function, at least it's the only reference I could find so far. kMission.ECountry = 2; kMission.eType = 5; kMission.strMapName = "DLC1_1_LowFriends"; CustomSoldier.firstName = "Shaojie"; CustomSoldier.lastName = "Zhang"; CustomSoldier.NickName = "Chilong"; CustomSoldier.Country = 2; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iRace = 2; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iFlag = 2; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iHead = 308; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iFacialHair = 16; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iHaircut = 307; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iHairColor = 22; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iSkinColor = 0; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iVoice = 20; CustomSoldier.Appearance.iGender = 1; CustomSoldier.soldierClass = 2; CustomSoldier.SoldierRank = 4; CustomSoldier.bPsiGift = false; CustomSoldier.HP = 9; CustomSoldier.Aim = 75; CustomSoldier.Will = 70;Look for this line. 03 00 00 00 01 00 8A 02 00 00 24 02 0F 35 DF 03 Last "02" from this line is what you are looking for. Change it to whatever class you want. Warning: I did not test it, it's just a guess so take it into account before you start changing values, make a backup etc.
