Sorry if Iâm not supposed to post Skyrim VR related stuff here. Anyways, I think Skyrim VR updated and the tweaks I made to my .INI are no longer being noticed which is frustrating. Anybody know why? Or how I can get it to read my tweaks again?

I wasn't using ENBoost before and just started using it. I also deleted a bunch of stuff from my SSD and now have 15% of free space on it. I jumped into the game and am still getting the wait cursor during loading screens. I also got a Radstorm from Nevada Skies and started sprinting around in it. I ran from Goodsprings and crashed in Hidden Valley, sometimes I wonder if my textures are to high quality. I'm using NMCs and Ojo Buneo's packs together. Could the high quality textures be causing the wait cursor during loading and the crashes?

I've currently only got 5% disk space left on the SSD I have New Vegas installed on so thats probably a big reason why. I'm also currently running on a GTX 970 and with 8GB Ram. Would getting 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1070 or 1080 help at all? If so, would it also help to decrease stutters a crashing related to loading new cells?

During all of my loading screens, my game actually appears to stop loading and I get the windows wait cursor during my loading screens. This kinda freaks me out when it comes to game stability because I feel like the application isn't extremely stable if it can't even load the game on its own. Anybody know what causes this, or if this is normal. I am using Fake Fullscreen, if that is whats causing it.

Hey so I know that deleting my game will remove its files, but I was wondering if NMM will still memorize your mod list and LO after uninstall, so that when re-installed it will have the mods loaded back on. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Modding FO3 for the First Time, Any Tips?

Hey thanks! Iâve been having issues with stability recently so these mods should help. I tried TTW a little while ago and decided to mod them separately so I could mod them both to their full potentials. I always felt like there was so much more to do in the Mojave because of all the mods I had going on over there, and a didnât want to spend as much time in the Capital Wasteland so I decided to leave the games separate. Iâve used LOOT a lot on New Vegas and used it a few times on F3 so far. Should I just restart my modding process then? Iâm already experiencing crashes with FWE and a few other small mods. -
Hey everyone! I have been pretty involved in modding Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4, but now I am moving to a new frontier. I just started modding Fallout 3 for the first time, and it is definitely the most unstable Bethesda game I have attempted to mod. So, dear Fallout 3 mod community, what tips, suggestions and recommendations do you have to someone who is modding Fallout 3 for their first time? Any cool mod recommendations, stability mods, modding tips and tricks to help me save a lot of headaches? Fallout 3 is new territory for me so I will take any information you guys can throw at me to help me out! Thanks guys!

I use ENB for ENBoost and don't use it for graphics whatever, but using it requires me to turn off Antialiasing and Ansiotropic filtering which makes the game look bad in comparison. I don't want to use the graphics of an ENB because I want to keep a steady framerate but I know the graphics would do away with my problem. Is there a a way around this, or an ENB that re-enbables the Antialiasing and Ansiotropic filtering without having too much effect on performance?

Hey everyone! I've run into an issue recently where the biggest bug I have in my New Vegas is an issue where sometimes things will become transparent when loading a new cell. It most commonly happens when passing through a door, whether from inside to inside, outside to inside, or inside to outside. The indoor transparency typically leaves most of the walls and floors transparent, whereas the outdoor transparency is typically the terrain goes transparent but leaves behind the foliage and rocks. If I continue to walk around the cell doesn't load back in and I eventually crash with "FNV has stopped working." I havent been able to capture a screenshot of an outdoor example, and I haven't been able to recognize a pattern of this happening (it just happens at random so I'm having a hard time tracking down the issue) but I am attaching an example of the indoor issue. Thanks for any help!

Does anybody else walk in or out of a door and only find themselves with a black screen after the loading screen? I've been having some issues cause I have to alt-tab, close and reopen. But I have to load back to a previous save cause that save will always give me a black screen. I am using ENB binaries just to be able to use ENBoost and don't use any of the graphics for it. Sometimes when I use Fake Fullscreen it doesn't apply correctly and leaves an annoying black bar at the bottom and pushes the rest of the game up which cuts off the top of my screen. Its really annoying, and I thought maybe it was my taskbar, so I hid it but it still happens. Not sure whats causing this, anybody run into the same problem or have any ideas?

Most realistic enb or sweetfx to date?

I like Nevada ENB personally, makes everything brighter which is a downside but it looks kind of nice. Eventually I caved and went back to plain old New Vegas with Nevada Skies. It keeps the gritty feeling of New Vegas but also looks nice and removes the yellow tint. -
Merging multiple ESPs from Same Mod

Thanks for the help! I was wondering also if it would be safe to combine some quests, such as the quests in the SomeGuy series, or at least the Freeside Open patches for them. Or perhaps merging the Uncut series. Part of my thinks that I shouldnât, but Iâm curious if itâs adviseable or not. -
Does Hardware Effect Stability at all?

So since ENB doesn't work well on Windows 10 and makes it less stable, should I be using ENBoost and remove the graphics abilities of ENB? Or should I remove ENB all together? -
It seems like ever since I installed my graphics mods and enb Iâve been having some stability issues, infinite loading screens and such. Iâm also getting crashes when thereâs a lot going on on-screen. I.e. I would âstress testâ by crowding Deathclaws at Quarry Junction and would use god mode to make my grenade launcher semi-auto, and you get the picture. Before graphics mods I could do this at a stable frame rate and no crashing, after loading them all on I get âFalloutNV.exe has stopped working.â Obviously this sucks, and I was wondering if I had a 1080 instead of a 970 and an i7 instead of an i5 if things would work better. I once saw a video of a guy playing modded Fallout 3 and New Vegas for 2 hours each without a crash, stutter or any issue. The frame rate stayed at 60 throughout all the gameplay and I noticed he had a 1080 and an i7. So does hardware play into the gameâs stability at all, or is my game just prone to crashing and this is all coincidence? Thanks for any help!

I'm reaching my mod limit (133 esps) and my games starting to freak out. Mods like Interior Lighting Overhaul and Fallout Character Overhaul have multiple esps and I was wondering if I coul merge them all together or if that would mess things up further. Also wondering about every esp in New Vegas Uncut, is that mergable? Thanks for then help!

Modding takes a LOT of effort. It would be a shame to lose a perfectly modded New Vegas, Fallout 3, Skyrim, etc. Lets say I wanted to be put my game on a flash drive so I can always have a backup of the game. Would I just copy the entire gameâs folder? Do I bring the âMy Gamesâ folder with it that contains the .iniâs? Just wondering how to approach this and do it right. Thanks for the help!

The two mods look great but I was wondering, I know that you won't be able to travel between the provinces of Tamriel and that each mod will act as a seperate game. So I was wondering if anyone thinks it's possible that once they come out they can be launched as seperate games, like have seperate shortcuts on my desktop to Skyrim, Skywind and Skyblivion. I think it would be a hasstle to have to reactivate and deactivate the mods depending on which one I feel like playing on that particular day.

So I have a gun pointed to Paladin Danse's head and reluctantly pull the trigger. He falls over perfectly alive and seemingly unphased by the bullet to his head. I empty a mag into him and he won't die. I think he's still labeled as a essential companion. I'm running AFT which I figured could be the problem but I disabled it and he still won't die. Anyone have this issue?

Hey everyone, I know a lot of people love the quickloot option in Fallout 4 but I don't like it. I'm a fan of Fallout 3 and NV and the quickloot option kind of takes away from that feel. I've already taken the voice away from my character, changed the dialogue selection, I just want to get away from the quickloot mechanic. Is there a mod that brings back the looting system from FO3 and FNV? Thanks!

Hey everyone! I've been trying to craft the perfect ultimate Fallout Game for a while but I can't play minimally. I HAVE to have a lot of mods, or else I feel like I'm not getting enough out of the game. I reached the limit of about 130 mods (going beyond that I get weird texture glitches) so I started merging mods. However my game finally gave up and decided to crap itself and I'm suffering from CTDs constantly. I've spent countless hours with this mod setup but I think I've come to terms with that I just need to start over with a fresh install. Sooo to the point: I believe my CTDs are caused by bad merges and I believe I messed everything up because of it (even with all plugins disabled I still crash). So when I restart I want to be smart about merging mods. Should I continue to use the merged packs I have? What are some good practices with merges? Does anyone have any good tutorials they know of that help teach about merges? I thought I was being smart about it, I merged armor mods with armor mods, quest mods with quest mods, and a HUGE merge of roughly 30 mods that were small mods that shouldn't have had any conflict with each other. Please if anybody can better educate me on merging mods (by giving tips or throwing a tutorial my way) I'd seriously appreciate it. Fallout NV means a lot to me and I really want to be able to make the game as amazing as it can be when I restart the modding proccess. I also merge a lot of mods in order to keep my plugin count under 130. Could merges slow things down too? Or would it be no different from having them outside a merge? Merges, if you make them properly (namely removing the ESPs of the merged mods) should work quite nicely, and have no more effect than a single plugin would have.Basically, make sure your load order is done properly, make sure you overwrite what you want overridden (such as keeping a different 'bullet effect' mod rather than EVE), etc. I keep all of my esps in my load order along with the merged mod I just have them disabled. This is mainly for my own organization purposes so I know which mods go into the merge and if anything goes wrong I can activate it again. Is that bad practice?
