I did not find this to be the case at all.Hence why I said "depending on your rig. " I just don't want him to think it's a miracle fix that will automatically fix his problem, because I know nothing about European computers at all. And it definitely does take trial and error by editing the ini file to get working in the best way possible way, that's pretty well known. Not sure why anyone would think this is a miracle fix and obviously performance would be hardware dependant. I certainly didn't say it was and the mod author certainly doesn't purport it to be. As far as setting it up, I found it super easy. Yes you can tweak it further through testing, but just using the suggested settings made a noticeable difference for me with an i7-4770k and gtx 970. It affected some places such as City so far, so I'll keep it for now, it has no negative effects after all. Thanks for this tip.

looks like you're right, dynamic shadows has no significant results for now, but I'll wait and see what happens because the purpose of dynamic shadows is making sense to me.

Actually, yes, I think my problem is lighting. And I don't know what to do.This helped me when I had my 970 http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1822/? Okay I'll try this at once and pass you the results.

Yes, I know how to update drivers, actually I did it when I first bought Fallout 4, and I'm Greek living in Istanbul, so we have European PC I guess, I don't think it's so different from US..

In fact, it doesn't make sense to me either, but it happens and I googled it and found people that has exactly the same problem, and it seems there's no apparent fix to it so far. By the way, I tried what you recommended, lowered all settings and then raise them one by one, but it seems even on the lowest settings, I have a brutal FPS drop when I'm inside. Exterior? I have no problem, whether it's raining or sunny, foggy or storm, doesn't matter. Just have a drop when I'm in Goodneighbor or Diamond City. It drives me crazy because I have lot of interior quest.Let's test something here. Download and install the mod named "basement living." it's available here on the nexus. It allows you to build custom interior cells (basements) within your settlements. Install it and build a basement, and check the fps inside there. I'm curious if this only affects vanilla cells or all interiors, hence the testing. This mod also allows you to turn off all lights within the basement at will, so that may have an effect as well if your problem is truly shadows. If shadows are the actual problem, your GPU may be out of date or need driver updates. ookay well I tried it and it really doesn't drops FPS. In fact, I've gained some FPS when I entered there and your suggestion gave me an idea and I checked the root cellar in Sanctuary, which is interior and I have no FPS drop there either. So I think what's the mutual with root cellar and my personal basement, and I found out that both of them are barely lit and, how do you say... gloomy? or dim lighted? however you got what I trying to say, English isn't my native language :D So, I think my problem isn't shadows, it's the lightings. If an area is well lit, it drops my FPS brutally. So, is there any fix for it, or should I wait for some official patch or something? Or is it my graphic card's fault that I can't have enough FPS in these areas? AND, thanks a lot for your effort to help and understand my poor english...

No, I just lowered Shadow distance, that's all. If you can offer me a good tweak, I'd be more than happy.

So should I look for some .ini tweaks? Do you think it will work for me too? And I turned off godrays because even in ultra settings it has pixels sometimes and it's disturbing me.
-
Nope, I don't have any texture mods, only have a armor mod that makes Ballistic weave available for every clothing.

I'm playing this game for a while now and I've never faced something like this. It could be a bug, but are you sure you press "Accept", not "Exit"? If you press Exit repairs and the mods that you have done will reset as you leave, you must hit accept button after you mod it. Just saying.

I have a standart gaming PC, it isn't very good but I can play Fallout 4 nearly-flawless in medium to high custom quality. I enjoy how it looks and it doesn't bothers me that I can't play at ultra quality. I turned off Godrays and there isn't a real problem actually, when I'm at outside. When I get inside, like Corvega, Museum of Freedom, Pickman's Gallery or something, my FPS drops to the ground actually. It decreases when I enter Diamond City or Goodneighbor but it can't be compared to Corvega or Fort Hagen or something and it's bugging me out, I can't fight because of it and I can't complete some of the quest because of this problem. I think it's connected to lighting or shadows or something but I don't really know and I hope you got a fix for this, cause I can't solve this by myself.

Thanks for a huge tip, can I use this method for exporting Curie's edited face from my old save and import it to my new save?
-
Well I think I found out how to do it. I can't verify it now but I think I'll use FaceRipper and don't select Player-7, scroll down(or up) and find Curie, and do the same for the target save. I don't know if there's a option like this because I'm mobile right now but I'll try it tomorrow and see the results.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm little confused. Do I need to have something like Creation Kit or GECK, or is there some way to do this without them?

So I know this could be completely random but I really want to confirm that it's random. I did this quest which Preston gave me, cleared Starlight Drive-In for Minutemen, and hang there for a while. I scrapped something and build beacon etc but then a BoS Vertibird showed up and two Brotherhood Knight landed, walk through the gate and start guarding the area. Is it completely random or they just aiding me because I'm a member of Brotherhood?

So my problem is little more complicated than others. I edited Curie's appearance by console commands, saved it, it became perfect for me and there's no problem except I want to start over again and I don't want to edit Curie again. So is there a way for I can export my edited Curie's textures and meshes and import it to original Curie? P.s. Sorry for bad english, not my native language.
