  1. A Hunting Rifle is four parts - stock, receiver, barrel and magazine. 10mm Pistol, Combat Shotgun, Submachine Gun - same story. So why, when we break down weapons, do we get stuff like screws or wood? Should we not get four or five mods in our inventory that make up the weapon parts? I wish to request a mod that makes this possible. I want to be able to retrieve improvement mods off weapons I find without having to rebuild its most basic parts.
  2. The one, single file I forgot to back up before reformatting was unlevelledworld.esp. Unfortunately, the original mod by Foxtrot has been taken off the Nexus for some reason, so I'm unable to reacquire it. Is anyone who has this mod able to supply me the necessary file?
  3. I'm looking for a quick mod to disable Word Walls. Specifically: - Stop the key word glowing - Stop the visual effects when approaching the wall - Stop the chanting when near the wall - Prevent the word from being learned entirely. Basically make the walls inert structures that don't do anything. This is part of a personal project to remove the entirety of the dragon-related stuff from Skyrim. Quests and dragons I have down, but I can't nail down how to turn off the Walls.
  4. So upon returning to Skyrim after months of not playing, I'm utterly delighted to find that mounted combat is a thing that requires no DLC. Now, riding around in modified Nightingale Armor with a Daedric (don't have Dawnguard) sword on Shadowmere cutting people down at full gallop is basically all I do, but it's hardly satisfying, for as much fun as it is. What I'm looking for is to basically fulfill my Horseman fetish - slicing off heads at full gallop, with improved damage for the horse's speed. Is this logistically possible?
  5. So shortly after marrying Ysolda and getting into the actually quite homely routine of returning to Whiterun, spending some time and the night with her before shipping off again, I murdered Hulda, allowing Ysolda to inherit the inn like she never shut up about wanting. However, this was a mistake - she becomes more of a fixture than a character, never leaving the inn or doing anything that an interactive NPC does, like how she'd derp around the market or just hang out at home. I'd like to reverse these actions - I've resurrected Hulda but nothing happens. I'm told a bat file and the console could reverse the script here, but I have no idea how to proceed with this. I'd make it myself if I knew how. Can anybody help me, or point me to where I might teach myself to fix it myself? Thanks a bunch.
  6. How're you going to justify it, are the Greybeards yelling records and ads from their mountaintop?
  7. So, here's the story. I was hoping there'd be some kind of quest regarding Ysolsa, Hulga and the Bannered Mare. Hulga wants to sell, Ysolda wants to buy. That's not the part I'm worried about; it's easy to reach that end. A few days after I married Ysolda, listening to her wistful longing to buy the Bannered Mare, Hulda tragically passed away from a combination of old age and a lethal poison to the blood while descending a flight of stairs, and my dear Ysolda moved in and set up shop. And hasn't left since. This is depressing, since I was enjoying the whole married-couple dynamic of seeing her derping around the market as usual upon returning at dusk from my adventures, selling her some crap, going back to her place for the night (+15 skill gain woo), and heading out in the morning. I'm not really one for role-playing but it was a nice homely dynamic, 'What I was going for with the horrible giggly murder silver-lining of Hulda's passing was Ysolda's dream coming true and her actually having a shop to make money off. What I wasn't expecting was that she'd be permanently planted behind that counter like any other innkeeper, never returning home, doing her market rounds or even giving me that sweet 100g daily coin. This actually highlights a problem I have with innkeepers in general, as they never do anything but stand there. They don't eat or sleep, and just seem to be static. You could replace them with a machine and it'd have the same character effect. So is there any way to reverse my actions? I've tried resurrecting Hulda but she just stands there looking dopey, and doesn't engage in dialogue. I can sell her firewood, but that's about it. I'm sure it's a scripting fix, something about changing how Ysolda behaves. I'd like her to go back to her old routine - derping around the market by day, chilling at home by night - and if she still runs and pops into the inn in the evenings, so much the better.
  8. I find playing as myself exceedingly difficult because one can never, ever get their character looking right. As far as combat mechanics, skills, playstyle and dialogue is concerned I do very well playing as me, making choices I would make and fighting how I'd like to think I would.
  9. So I had the (awesome imo) idea to come up with a sweet Dwarven hog ride, after killing a bunch of Spheres, I noticed their wheels could be applied to a motorcycle frame. There's plenty of models from dwarven tech that could be used to construct this. I also thought of having the suspension bounce smoothly to mimic the bouncing one gets while on a horse - so you could script the bike like a horse when the player is riding it. Obviously you couldn't have it wheel itself out of combat when you dismount, or bug out and start killing things on its own accord. Then again, I suppose you could. Most dwarven technology is sentient, why not this? Better yet, you could have a long, arduous quest to collect parts for it around Skyrim to build it yourself, or have someone with the expertise put it together. Like the wizard in Markarth. (Calcemo or somethin'). Thoughts?
  10. UPDATE: I found the mod responsible - this one: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16399
  11. 'lo. After re-installing Fallout 3 and all of the mods I had with it, my Chinese Officer's Sword now comes up at 'Chinesisches Offiziersschwert', which is the German translation. It's never done this before... and I'm not sure how to correct it. Any ideas would be appreciated.
  12. I second this idea, if only for the insanity of Radephants thundering around the Capital Wasteland, goring Super-Mutants with their tusks.
  13. Yo. So I got back from the Madre, and after a few hours of banging around the Mojave with Veronica's new 'psychotic punching rampage jamboree' perk, and I'm starting to miss the place. So I'm looking for a door, or train, or something that allows me to return to and from the Sierra Madre and Villa whenever I please. I like the Madre, but only in small doses. But I miss it. So. Who wants to be awesome?
