All that you should see is that the upper text field of the FNIS windows gets new text. But since the text isn't shown in this field, you can't see things anyway. The only way right now to see if FNIS works is to look into the FNIS created files in "FNIS Data". But I don't know if Vortex creates "FNIS Data" if FNIS failes due to bad installation, or other user errors. What I always recommend when "strange", OS related problems occur is to look into the Windows Event Viewer Eventvwr.msc for any related entries. Others than that I can only say that in my opinion you have a font problem, and you need to fix it. There is nothing that Vortex od FNSI support can do.
