  1. I don't understand why people can't make things simpler, instead they have all these fancy sites that don't work. Just to give you an example why do you have to implement all those fancy codes to make the screenshot pop up on the same page? Like, how about just make it a simple link to the image so I can open in in another tab? It makes your webpage smaller because you saved all those cods, it's easier on my browser so if I browse with a tablet it doesn't lag all the time, and in fact this pop up image viewer doesn't work very good on tablets. Making them simple links are so much easier, and I can even open multiple screenshots at the same time to compare them. I don't understand what you were thinking. Also, why do you have to have that scrolling s*** for screenshots? just stack all the thumbnails right on the webpage? even for a scroller it sucks big time it only has three thumbnails! At least have like six!? Another example, why is it the webpage have to actually load the information on mods? why is it not written directly into the webpage? as if someone is going to NOT look at those info? I mean it's not like the description is anything huge, it's a few kilobytes at most. So why? And look at those fancy tabs, why tabs? you know most of us have monitors wider than what, 1024 pixels? why can't you just add more stuff to your webpage instead of having all those tabs that I have to switch through? It's not like in Japan where everyone browses with an 800x480 Japanese cell phone, even those sites know tabs are annoying and they simply stack everything up to make a really long webpage. Look what we have? we have a narrow and short page where you have to switch between tabs, and wait for them to load every single time. I also don't understand how your downloads work. To start with, why is it on a separate tab? why can't I just click and download!? How big is a freaking download link? like 50 bytes? You don't have room for that on your webpage? How about screw all the fancy backgrounds and buttons, instead make a webpage that works better? Then when I click the download link it doesn't download instead there is another fancy pop up window, wtf is that for? how about just put all the server links into the webpage itself!? you already have a tab just for download, and you can't just load all your crap into that tab? It's not like people will click the download tab and not download!? they will most likely download, so why do I have to click one more time for no reason? You know what, the categories suck, it misses at least one crucial in your face category. I don't care if a mod is a freaking weapon or clothing or whatever. How about have a reskin and add-on mod with new or modified mesh category!? Cuz you know most reskins are low quality and there are a lot of them, why in hell do I have to go through 200 different glass sword reskins to find for example a giant sword mod? Even porn sites know that and they have anal and oral categories, having categories like here is like if a porn site categorizes their videos into different shades of blond hair, who cares!? There should also be major and minor mods categories, people who pot a lot of time into their mods deserve to be in a different category than people who just size up and sharpen a texture. Not having that is like a porn site where they mix up hard core and soft core porn, it's just stupid.
  2. Unlike other mods, I have no intention in making it realistic or life like, I just try to make it looks better to me. and unlike other mods, I don't plan to make it universal, it only works on human females. and contrary to popular demand, This isn't compatible with any nude mods, the face is but the body isn't. This mod does not use the better eyes mod, which is by the way, inferior to my eyes because mine are real scans. I didn't use the no more blocky face mod because I did it my self, so no credit issue there. currently I don't have a lipstick mod with it, because I don't use lipsticks. main features: -each eye color is a completely different eye scan, unlike that other mod where the author just recolors the same thing over and over again. -To demonstrate this, here I have two different colored eyes, as you can see the details are different, and even the hair color is slightly different. -my eyes do have blood vessels, I completely re-drew them, not very visible but I can change that if needed. -clean body, no more dirt -clean eyelids, I don't understand why you have eye shadows and makeups even when you choose none, now those are gone when you choose none. -clean breasts, the original looks like she's got mud on her breasts, especially with this popular dress. which is by the way, custom textured. -slightly better lips, still trying to figure out how to improve it. as you can see the color map is still unchanged -body skin made from a scan of my own skin, I just scanned a piece of my own skin with my scanner and used that. http://i.imgur.com/LHXGK.jpg
  3. Oh look it's you again, why don't we continue with that other thread I have, instead of starting new here? Or maybe that's exactly what you wanted cuz you're unable to continue so you start another one just to force me to repeat what I have already said? I made it clear in the last one that what looked better was a matter of opinion, no point in discussing anything with someone who thinks there are only two opinions, his and the wrong one. Maybe you were too afraid to see my proof that your opinion could not have been right because it goes against all evidence? Afraid? As I said I see no point in discussing anything with someone who can't understand that sometimes in life people won't share their opinion. If you want to discuss Bethesdas artistic choice (because that's what is) then fine, if you're just going to continue to lecture people on why your personal preference is right while theirs is wrong then don't bother. Too bad for you, I just happen to prefer something like 1+1=2, and if you don't like it it's not my problem it's yours.

  6. Just look at it! how much better it is now than before! I have yet to upload it because it is experimental, I am still determining the "sweet spot", you could say Advantages over other post FX mods: -This mod utilizes highly optimized and highly intergraded code such that it has absolutely zero performance impact guaranteed. -easy install and uninstall, clean and no side effects -It could be turned on and off in-game to compare the differences -It could be adjusted live in game to suit your needs -It has a graphical interface, so no more fooling around with ini files and undocumented variables -I am still testing but I don't think there is any bugs or incompatibility issues with any other mods, can be used with another post FX mod -Unlike the Shader enhancement mod, it does not screw up your white balance to slight red -Unlike FXAA injector mod, it does not give you over-saturated colors http://i.imgur.com/qHjaG.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wXYG4.jpg download:Link please reply with your own screenshots and thoughts so I can improve on it!
  7. Can someone explain why do I have to play a male character if I'm a guy? even if I don't have any reasons to play girl character shouldn't I just choose one at random?
  8. why is it every skyrim wiki and a post here claim it to be able to force any NPC into marriage but it does absolutely nothing? I tried on a number of NPCs including Lydia and none of them worked. Of course I know you gotta click them first to target them, and you need to wear the necklace thing, but it just doesn't work. I can marry normal NPCs, but this command just doesn't do anything.
  9. I don't know why but when I do my custom skin textures I get this sort of wet skin effect with this highlight on the edge of light and shadows. anyone knows why that is? http://i.imgur.com/aee9R.jpg
  10. I love the 3 easy steps of arguing against a correct position: 1. Pretend you didn't see the OP's post and just refute his title and claim your opinion is the only correct opinion. 2. Grab any faulty evidence to back up your point 3. When that has been refuted, ignore the refutation and insist that everything is Just a matter of opinion. The next step, will of course be I refute your claim that this is in fact a matter of opinion, and you stop replying out of shame. so let's begin. May I ask you, what is the correct color? I can even see the guy in the background, I can't even see what he's wearing. Why don't you tell me what he's wearing, I pull out its texture, and we can compare which image is in fact the correct color? All I can say now is that I don't remember no blue armor. And then you said that the trees are the correct color on the lower image, But the trunks of the trees on the bottom image is dark blue, and I don't think any type of tree has a blue trunk, so that can't be more correct either. Well then why don't we take a look at the saturation map of your two images? http://i.imgur.com/T6VAe.jpg Here it is, cyan is least saturated and red is most saturated. One thing you're right on, yes the lower image is more saturated overall, but there is a serious problem. Where is your FXAA thing saturating that image? It's saturating the snow on the ground, and the snow on top of trees. Take a look at the actual tree leaves and the characters, very little change. So it's not actually doing what you said it does, which is make characters more realistic. Instead, it's mostly making snow less realistic by coloring them blue. And if you look at the blue and green channel, and can also be seen a bit here, the effect introduces a vertical line artifact into your image. So even if it did make the characters a bit more realistic, which I already refuted earlier, but even if it did. It still made a lot more mess by over saturating snow with blue. Therefore the upper image is better looking.
  11. Well realistically speaking, snow is just white, it's not blue. You're making it less realistic by making it blue. so unless you screen isn't adjusted properly and biased to yellow, the top one is definitely better. and what makes you think having color is always better than not having color? Does that make all black and white photos inferior to all color photos? also, since post processing doesn't know what you are seeing, only how bright is the scene, the same effect will be applied when you look at other things of the same brightness. First of all, Yes a game like Skyrim is very close to perfection in many aspects, including color toning, especially color toning. It may blow in the new interface, which is only because they don't give a s*** about PC. And secondly, what makes you think you can improve upon it? just because it's not perfect doesn't mean you can do better, you can still make it worse. Thirdly, show me a MOD that actually improves image quality, rather than decreasing image quality by increasing too much contrast and saturation.
  12. Those "realistic" or "Beautiful" custom settings for the FXAA injector thing, or the custom palette thing with the enhanced shader mod. Do you seriously think, that the makers of this game forgot to color correct their game before release? Or do you think they don't have a color managed workflow for texture painters? Or maybe you think those concept artists don't know what they are doing, but you know exactly what you are doing? There is a easy way to test for the answer of course, I just take some screenshots from the game, open in Photoshop and click auto color. The result is that for most situations there is absolutely no change what so ever, this is how I know that Skyrim is almost always color corrected to the best of what computers can do. Which is a very easy process, especially for a native HDR rendered game, and is a loose-less process. But, any "post process" is lossy processing, because the engine only outputs a 24-bit image, it doesn't output in HDR. And we have already said that there is no point in doing it anyway because the game already does it internally, it has to be there for HDR renderings. The conclusion is quite simply, unless you have some kind of unknown to man color-correcting artificial intelligence, it can almost only decrease image quality. In fact I don't think either of these two mods actually does real dynamic color correction, the palette thing only applies fixed colors to any scene of the same brightness, and the FXAA injector I think does the same thing only less sophisticated. And how can fixed color palette work in a game? What if I want different color palette in different locations? Now they'll just have the same color? So why are these mods so popular? And why do people keep making them? Well take a look at this, the Loudness War. It's because the untrained eye likes to pick on the image with more contrast and more color, it's exactly what most cheap TN monitors do with their image "enhancement" filters. But of course, same as post processing, you cannot create what's not in the image. No, it's not an issue with crappy ports, because the HDTV uses the same color standard as computer monitors, it's called sRGB. Although it is true almost all cheap TN monitors today are over saturated in I think red and green, and they come with filters as mentioned above which destroys the standard 2.2 gamma and everything. But if the game was corrected for those (it shouldn't but suppose it is), all we really need is just a simply static color correction for everything, not some fancy color palette crap.
  13. When you add an object in GECK, it gets an ID but it doesn't seem to work in-game console like if you want to add that item to your inventory it will say the object ID is not found. I also tried to only load the exact same data files as I did in GECK in case that ID is accumulated with the amount of objects you have loaded. but it still doesn't work. I'm pretty new to this but I've noticed that nobody gives out the object ID of their mods, does it mean you simply can't add additional custom items with console? but that also cannot be or the game won't be able to save the game at all. I would've searched but I can't believe this forum is stupid enough to not let me search "object id" because ID is less than 3 characters. and oh, I found how to do it in Fallout 3 but there is no Mod Manager for NV yet. does GECK and the game luncher just happen to not show mod number?
