  1. Couldt agree more, this is a huge issue for me, Ive resigned myself ot not wearing the hood. And I always play in 3rd person as first person meleeing is stupid. -Exo
  2. This. A million times this! Why is it so hard to go for 6 limbs LIKE YOUR SUPPOSED TO!
  3. Nice idea but that location is hardly a secret, there are bounty quests that takes u there. (To kill the Dragon) Looking forward to seeing more though. -Exo
  4. Sweagle, the build u mention is absolutely viable. Go dual wield, and focus on summoning Atronachs to tank for you while u blast dmg from ur two weapons. Go enchanting all the way, and use twin enchants on ur gear to both up ur damage and reduce mana cost of Conjuration to a minimum, which allows u to focus ur stats on health and above all stamina. At high lvls, ull have two summoned creatures, a companion and urself wrecking havoc on anything that dares cross ur path. Good idea to get an archer companion though as ur lacking in the range department, specially at early lvls. -Exo
  5. Everyone should calm the F down, Steam is NOT going to take money for mods. Simple reason why, the minute u pay for something u are ENTITLED BY LAW to the product u paid for. Modders dont make finished products by nature, that Quest line with the awesome description might be broken at the end, or crash ur game continuously, or just have large missing sections, it is a MOD, it is NOT a Product, and Valve knows this. All they are doing is giving beginners a chance to one click install mods, and nexus will still be thriving because all those nudeskins/prostitution/child killing/slavery mods will not be allowed in Steam, and who can live without those... -Exo
  6. Flying is probably impossible. But Dragon NPCs do fly in this game, meaning there is probably some form of pathing navmesh for them in the air. So it would probably be possible to ride a Dragon to a predetermined destination. Like u tell it to go somewhere through dialog or by clicking on a spot in the map. Ofcourse this could be done by a simple fast travel mechanic, but methinks the idea of actually flying on a Dragon to be much cooler. -Exo
  7. For realism purposes, always time the population in games/mmos by x30. However, i think the first thing to remember is how prone the gamebryo engine actually is to CDTs, even now with Skyrims upgraded engine. Adding many new buildings, and too many people and the game will crash, all the time. However learning from past mods in oblivion and the fallout games i think the following is possible. 1. Various nomad groups traveling across the roads. More merchant caravans, more pilgrims, bands of adventurers, groups of empirals/stormcloaks, beggars, traveling bandits... Etc 2. Increase the population in the cities by a factor of x2 or x3. But where do these ppl sleep? Here is, i think the simplest and most cost efficient solution to that. Make a basement to every inn, with really cheap, group sleeping, basically a large room filled with beds, sleeping rolls and matrasses. Perfect for travelers and those citizens who cannot afford their own houses. 3. Add a similar basement for the college of winterhold, oly this one is the sleeping and living arrangement for studying wizards who have not yet risen in the ranks of the college. A large room filled with many beds and a small chest for every bed for personal belongings.
  8. To ppl who apparently didnt get this. He is basicaly making ANOTHER game, in Unity3d, that will only consist of one arena, and have the ABILITY to load skyrim savegame files. Since its possible to extract character models and animations to programs like 3ds, it should technically be possible. But its a massive endavour, and i would not be surprised if this is the last we hear of this idea. -exo
  9. U think Dragon armor looks better then Daedric armor... :psyduck: oh well... -Exo
  10. Cut urself a break and do 3 forms, not 5, no point really and the intermediate forms will be subpar graphics wise anyway. Homid, Crinos, Lupus, thats enough. Lupus should have increased running etc.. Alternatively, u could leave the current werewolf form as is for its storyline, but add a quest where the player then learns to control his form, choses a tribe, gets gifts... starmetal grandclaves etc etc.. Slay the Wyrm! -Exo
  11. Mages arent powered enough? Im sorry what? I STOPPED playing my archmage because the game got too easy for me, and rolled a pure melee instead, and i ONLY play on Master difficulty. Yes mana is a *censored* at first, which is what staves are for, but once ur robes are passing 100% mana regen, AND you have the mask that adds another 100% mana regen the game gets EASY. Dual cast fireballs alone will kill any opponent in the game with ease. Not to mention the benefits of 100 enchanting means u can get one school for FREE!! -Exo
  12. This game suffers from a lack of Ebony ingots. Specially considering blacksmithing is not very hard to raise, making it conceivable to achive 100 Blacksmithing before u reach lvl 10. At which point Ebony ingots are not for sale anywhere, ull be lucky if u see dwarven ingots tbh, but then again getting dwarven ingots becomes a lot easier once u find one of their dungeons. So the biggest open source of Ebony ingots is the Gloombound Mine, mining it completly dry leaves u about enough Ebony for a full, upgraded set of Ebony armor and ebony weapons, with maybe 1 or 2 to spare. But now ur out of Ingots, and THEY DO NOT RESPAWN to my knowledge. So then u get ur Deadric perk and discover that this one requires Ebony as well (dont get me startet on the Daedra hearts). There is a rumor that ull find more in the mine at Shor's Stone, but id like to see some pictographical evidence of that, as ive ran that mine up and down without discovering anything. Someones says there is one ore location at the top of the Throat of the World, but u need to advance the main quest to gain access, and even then its only 3 ores in total. Hardly enough Ebony to equip urself and ur compaion with a full set of upraded Daedric armor and weapons, never mind being an enchanter and wanting several choices of weapons or even armor. Not to mention the amount of mods out there with custom companions, or that allow u to have more then one companion at a time. So where to get it? Well what i discovered was curious, Blacksmiths never seem to have them, BUT after passing lvl 20 they seem to pop up more and more in General goods stores. Circling Whiterun, Solitude, Winterhold, Windhelm and a few others nets 1 or 2 ebony ingots each on average. U will have to be over lvl 20 though, just thought id share that. -Exo
  13. U put the meshes into a folder belonging to another mod? Thats wrong. All mods make their own folders, though they share a common tree (just for mods). So it should be, fallout new vegas/data/meshes/NAME OF MOD/files And the same for the textures. -Exo
  14. Good point. I was wondering, killing opposing faction increases faction benefit with a faction ? Doesnt seem to work very well as Ive been Villified by both NCR and Caesar. -Exo
  15. Fantabulous! Thanks for that, actually usefull information :-) -Exo
