Looks fantastic!

Follow this tutorial: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WTcOK0oEDMw
It should solve at least the first problem, it lets you start SKSE through the standard steam launcher, not sure about the second one though, I never had this issue.

It's important to save the new blend in legacy mesh format, the setting can be found in the save dialogue, usually on the left side.Save as a new blend, then back to 2.49b to export nif.

Have you tried out Immersive detection of NPC? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61255/?

Thanks for all the tips guys, I really appreciate it!

That's a pretty cool idea. I think it would make Skyrim much more interesting and diverse.

You could check out beyond Skyrim (on Dark Creations) if you're interested in making new stuff.
Otherwise, I think it would still be worth it if it's something you want to do. It'll undoubtably be hard but also fun and satisfying.
I know Beyond Skyrim, it's my favourite mod project  I will think about joining.
Yeah I'd like to do that. Do you have a concept or layout for the house in mind?
Basically I'd like to make all those Whiterun houses (one floored houses) into double-floored, for more space and stuff. You can check my mod's progression in a thread here.
Alright, I'll PM you when I got something.
I'd suggest just adding more variety instead of making higher poly vanilla versions. Maybe making more farmhouses and such since the standard farmhouses are just overused..i mean how likely is it in real life that every village you visit has the exact same architecture.
I've already thought about that. It would be cool to have an unique style for each village.

I'm pretty new to this community, so not many of you might know me. I'm a 3D modeller and I'd like to start a project, but I want to know your opinion if it will be worth the effort. Skyrim is almost 4 years old now and its 3d models are pretty bad and lowpoly compared to today's games. As you can guess from the title, I plan on improving Skyrim's architecture by remodelling the 3d models from scratch and maybe also improving the textures. It will be pretty much work, but I think it will be worth it.
What do you think about this? Is it too much work? Please post your ideas/suggestions.

Ok, send me a PM when you have something for me.
-
Well, I mostly do architecture and clutter.

Wow it looks fantastic so far! If you need any help with 3d modelling, I'd be happy to assist you.

Beyond Skyrim is an ambitious project with several teams that are working on the different provinces of tamriel. Here's the link to their forums: http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/forum/119-beyond-skyrim/

I am looking for a mod that i used to have, but i got a new computer, and now i have to reïnstall all the mods i had.
I forgot a few, and ignore a few, but there is one that i can't find anymore, because i don't know the name
The mod added this:
There were 3 special merchants added, 1 in Riverwood (wandering outside the tavern), 1 in Dawnstar (who was inside the herb store.), and 1 in Riften (hanging around in the tavern)
I think the one in Riften was called; 'The Dark Medecius' or something like that.
The guy in Riften had some very powerful potions he could sell
The woman in Dawnstar had very powerful chlothing and rings to sell. I think they were 'Ayleid' robes.
I don't remember what the guy in riften sold, but i guess it was other powerful stuff.
I think the mod adds more than just that, but i just can't remember.
Help would be very appreciated.
It's this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10329/?
