  1. "Does Kimball get thrown out of office?" I'm not sure, but I do tend to throw him off the dam with my Independent playthroughs. Personally I wouldn't mind skipping the voicing. It kind of makes the whole thing go at a snail's pace because they're doing it all dramatically. I thought most of the other acters did a great job with theirs too.
  2. I'd love to see a mod that adds new slides to the game ending, which incorporate more of your decisions/quest outcomes, or that alters existing ones. For example, why is there no slide for the Omertas? You can help them launch a chemical weapon attack on the Strip or assassinate their leadership. What happens with them is highly consequential to the wasteland. Ditto for Heck Gunderson the brahmin baron, who hangs out in the Ultra-Lux. As for existing slides, they do have slant in places but mostly I'd just like to see them provide more information and thus--closure to the player. There are just so many possibilities. So I'm honestly surprised that no one seems to have gotten around to it. Unfortunately I'm just about the last person who do modding themselves, for reasons I'd rather not get into...but I am a writer, so I can contribute to that if help is wanted.
  3. Accidentally injure one settler and they all turn on you, such a pain especially during Defend the Castle. How about a little love for your benefactor? PC does all the freaking work and they turn on you without any hesitation en masse. Such a pain. A mod to fix this is so needed.
  4. Oh I totally forgot about mutant hounds. Gross...lol.
  5. Lucky Shades were in FO3 and NV, so I'm disappointed to find that they aren't in FO4. Someone please make one! Preferably with different style options because I usually kind of hated how they looked. One where I can still see my characters eyes, maybe some dark aviators, Alucards malevolent magenta magnifico's, or if you're feeling funky--some proper sideshielded shades. Anyway, thanks a million if you do this, and if not have a great day anyway.
  6. Definitely not possible until Bethesda releases those modding tools e'rybody be talkin' 'bout. Since domesticated cats and dogs can be found throughout the commonwealth, I thought it would be interesting if you could get your hands on some FEV (SORT OF SPOILER: most likely at Virgil's old lab in the Institute), and use it to create a new companion. Probably something cougar like for the cat since anything larger would be a stretch, even for (a random strain of) FEV. Obviously it would be stronger and more agile than dogmeat, while offering the play the opportunity to play with it as they would a pet cat. So the experience of owning such beasts as pets is key to the value of the mod. Anyway, the canine companion would have to be quite larger than any wild type (sort of surprised there haven't been any giant dogs yet), so more on the order of a large bear. As such it could work as a player mount: as a ride to outpace your stride, whose savage maws you guide, whilest taking difficult aim to fire upon or lance an enemy astride. Giggity.
  7. Right now it's painfully difficult to get level 4 merchants for your settlements, and there's an irritatingly low number of them available. I'd suggest a reliable method of meeting them, a way of making regular settlers into level 4 traders (ideally something difficult but worth it), or just an increase in the number of them out there so it isn't so hit and miss.
  8. Can you link to a few of these mods? I believe it will help me to better understand what your portraying/requesting. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54643/? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50225/?
  9. There are a couple of mods I found that provide the stats of an equipped weapon, but they're base stats only. Furthermore functionality was limited as many weapons simply didn't open up a display when prompted. I tried looking through combination hud mods to see if any had something better, but I really couldn't find anything. So what I'd hope to see is quite simply the effective stats for a weapon with my current character (perks included) in game. Preferably with the perks listed and their individual effects listed separately, and overall in a format that allows comparison. Ideally there might be a few different DPS calculations that take different things into considering, e.g effective critical damage per hit, reload time, clip size, etc...in the form of a line graph that shows actual dps second to second. In any case, any improvement over the mods I've been able to find thus far would be greatly appreciated, and the extras are just wildly optimistic wishful thinking. Many thanks for any consideration.
