I'm currently working/playing with a overhaul mod where you awaken in a hospital and the world is zombie infested rather than a nuclear wasteland. So far ive deleted all Fallout references and just kept the feral ghouls which will be renamed and slowed down with other mods. So the game world has nothing. No npcs and questlines, no fatman, plasma weapons, just the world. In time i will delete all former locations and replace with new ones, maybe adding quests and such. The world will be populated by the dead and remaining living which may be allies or hostile towards you. Base building works nicely with all this and a horde/grouping system would keep players/settlements on their toes. - Board up all old cities. Diamond City will just be en empty baseball arena etc. - Only real world weaponary despite the world still looking like its set in the future. - Items/weapons to be rare, crafting weapons/ammo at home will be a must. - Emphasis on horror/lighting. The map will be in darkness unless power exists in the area, think settlements and the hospital you start in with backup generators/solar lighting etc. You think its worth building on? Any interest?

To be expected they always release buggy content and let the community fix it. CC is a money grab nothing more.

Mods on Skyrim Special Edition - steam
GoodfellowGoodspring replied to punkgames's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The same game but prettier, also 64bit so the game will be more stable with mod mods as it can use more RAM. The mod situation is the same. Its up to you if the price is worth paying, i already had the game so i wouldn't have paid twice. However i go SSE for free as i purchased the DLC which i didn't have so it only cost me a faction of the cost for the full game for SSE so it was worth it for me. -

What causes this?
GoodfellowGoodspring replied to GoodfellowGoodspring's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well its a falkreath mod. I moved vanilla buildings and made dramatic changes to the landscape. This is the only time ive come across this problem though, got it in Fallout 4 as well however where my interiors went all see through. When walking around after a certain point the buildings will go transparent and the landscape will just disappear so that you just walk through it. Ive tried creating new LOD, new landscape lod etc. -

Bump, this issue was never resolved and i basically quit the project and Skyrim modding in general because of it. -
Im making a mod which overhauls Falkreath, i went to playtest and got this when looking at the terrain in certain points. The house below flickers from this to a full house and back again in stages. Objects i placed disappear when upclose and the terrain just disappears. Im guessing its related to LOD of some description but it doesnt explain the randomness of it and it being objects as well.

Im making a mod where a npc patrols in a circle within the water at the docks in Riften. However, the current of the water is so strong that the npc never makes it to the patrol markers and she keeps getting pushed back to where she started. Is there anyway to turn off the resistance in the water or otherwise make her ignore the current so she can swim normally?

Im looking for a modder to create a set of armour for me either with their own design or using existing assets. I plan on adding a Crownsguard/Kingsguard like NPC whose duty it is to protect the High King/Queen of Skyrim. I feel that a unique armour set is required for the correct look and finish of the mod. I plan on releasing my mod then i will link to here to stir interest if needed. REQUIREMENTS: Male only full armour setGold/White coloursRed/Black or Gold colours to match the Solitude guardMaybe The Jagged Crown/Torygg's war horn/ Blue palace icon insignia (see below)INSPIRATION: http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/elderscrolls/images/4/42/Bonecrowngo.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/200?cb=20120612154312 http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/elderscrolls/images/8/8f/Torygg's_War_Horn.png/revision/latest?cb=20120902133012 http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Map_Symbols_(Skyrim)?file=Bluepalaceicon.png https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/76/06/b7/7606b70da2099ec94f2f95d1620de460.jpg https://static1.squarespace.com/static/52fc05c9e4b08fc45bd99090/t/547f8694e4b024050a47e919/1417643678192/Joffrey-Baratheon-armor http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LCZpEVs3cww/UpJDB6gCCtI/AAAAAAAAVE4/wD5jwjpntOs/s1600/Murray.Higgins_Papal_GuardArmor.jpg http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120115004340/assassinscreed/images/9/92/Guard-papal-ACB.png https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6064/6097067925_6d7da7c6fb_b.jpg https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/d7/5c/98/d75c989d483d4ac33e3ef71d3e07140d.jpg https://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/vindictus.gamepedia.com/thumb/9/9c/Royal_Knight_Set_(View_1).png/305px-Royal_Knight_Set_(View_1).png?version=d727b088aa2cf46f964508fe04435bbc https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/53/a5/f1/53a5f1264b97bc00b5c549c3bd330808.jpg http://orig07.deviantart.net/950f/f/2012/089/1/0/skyrimified_royal_guard__mage_by_generaldurandal-d4uhaby.jpg http://orig05.deviantart.net/ae00/f/2011/029/8/3/royalguard_by_mabuart-d38bgcz.jpg

Modding State House
GoodfellowGoodspring replied to GoodfellowGoodspring's topic in Fallout 4's Creation Kit and Modders
Thanks cleared up the problem for me. Been modding for years, used both Creation Kits and the Oblivion Construction kit and never had this problem.. -
So modding the State House in Goodneighbor, the interior has loads of lighting, like too much. Every window has light spilling out, thats fine but then you have extra light some of which don't even do anything but whatever. Don't get me started on the inside of the building having more windows than the outside. So anyway, i move around some furniture in Hancock's part of the building. Problem is when im testing in game you still see the original positions of the objects and the stuff i added or moved around just disappears as you move close to it. Ive encountered this before in the 'Better Third Rail' mod, where a sofa will disappear at different angles. In a mod im making, a light and door i placed disappear when moving up close to them, then the entire lighting from ALL that interior area just turns off and doesn't appear in till you pass through that area again or load up an other interior! I understand that too much shadow lighting can cause problems, i had that problem and fixed it. I played around at deleting lightboxes thinking that they were causing the disappearing/dissolving objects problem but nope.

It would be more successful than Tamriel Online imo, there are loads of medieval type of mmos but few set in a post apocalyptic world. The next natural step for me from Skyrim would have been a single player game which would have been tackle two providences at once if not the whole of Tamriel, instead we got a mmo. The Fallout series is different because its set in a real world country rather than a fictional world. So im happy with each game covering a city and its area and thats it. A mmo would just cover multiple cities or something. I would have preferred Fallout online rather than one based on the Elder Scrolls games.
